"Wait, I don't understand." Kai sighed pacing around the room.

I groaned for the 3rd time now. I kept repeating the same damn thing and Kai still didn't understand.

"The lady that attended us was actually working for the Russians. I checked her body and she had a Russian word tattooed. I translated it and it said 'Omerta' and I'm sure you guys now what that means..."

"Oh, so that means she was undercover and she was trying to kill us meaning that if she was from the Russian mafia, the whole mafia knows about us and they're after us too and not only Melissa meaning they also figured out what we were planning to do." Leo finished making me sigh in relief that someone finally understood.

After I left Valentino's room, I came straight to Kai and Leo but what Valentino lastly said was repeating over and over in my head. Which is really odd. His words shouldn't make me feel like this...feel like a zoo was in my stomach.

He actually wanted to get to know me. How the tables have turned...

My thoughts were cut off as Leo walked forward opening the door to his room and exiting out into the hall. "Come on, lets go check the body out." Leo silently exclaimed.

We both catched up to Leo as I took out my key card as slid it across the door. It beeped and opened. Leo suddenly bolted through the door and he tripped, falling on the floor with a thud.

God, he acted like a toddler at such times.

My eyes widened as I walked towards Leo, I furrowed my eyebrows as I lifted him up.

"Valentino's sleeping, be quiet." I whispered putting my finger on my lips in a silence manner. He eyebrows lifted and he eagerly nodded. He walked behind Kai as they got to the body. Her eyes were wide open and dead. Her body was twisted in a weird way, not to mention, she was without top because I took it off trying to find some information on her body and I did...on her breast.

Kai coughed and pressed his lips together as his Adam's apple bobbed up and down making me furrow my eyebrows.

"Are you seriously getting turned on by a dead naked women?" I questioned in astonishment.

He turned to look at me and he chuckled, "Is it my fault? I haven't had sex for like a month."

" Boo Hoo, I haven't had sex for all my life and I'm doing fine." I said crouching trying to find another thing that was unusual.

He smirked, "Just because you can't get action doesn't mean I can't."

I groaned rolling my eyes, "Well yeah but your getting turned on by a women Kai, that's fucked up."

"I bet that if Valentino was naked right now and dead, you would absolutely fuck him." He mocked raising an eyebrow taunting me.

"Wha-Excuse me?"

"Don't even try to deny it, you would fuck the shit out of him."

"I would not!" I exclaimed but quickly shut up when I realized I was being to loud as I heard Valentino let out a deep and tired groan. "I don't want to talk about this, he's literally right there" I whispered rapidly.

"So what? It's not like he's hearing." He said pushing me further.

I groaned rubbing my eyes, it was late, probably around 2am. "Just drop it, let's take care of this body."

Minutes later we disposed the body making sure to use gloves so our fingerprints wouldn't be imprinted on her body. We disposed it on a nearby ditch but what we didn't know what to do was how to clean the rug that was stained with blood, a lot of blood.

"How about we just leave the blood there?" I whispered. "Maybe some hotel cleaning service will find this but we'll be long gone from this hotel."

"Yeah, we should do that..."Leo yawned stretching his arm.

A small smile tugged at my lips at his adorableness. "I'll try to sleep and you both should do that too." I stared at Valentino's sleeping form.

I noticed how peaceful he looked when he was asleep. His arm was behind his head asleep like a adult but his face looked so childish, he looked so delicate and vulnerable. His cold expression that he always wore was gone, instead there was a soft and relaxed expression.

I felt Kai's gaze on me, this time it was mischievous and fixed.

"I knew it." He suddenly spoke making me snap out of my thoughts.

"Know what?" I asked confused looking around the room trying to find what he was talking about.

"You have a thing for Valentino." He smirked cocking his head to the side.

"What do you mean?" I asked. I knew exactly what he meant but I still questioned making sure we were on the same track.

"You heard me."

"Don't be dumb. That's the most ridiculous thing." I spat having a dumbfounded expression.

"You're being ridiculous. Just accept it."

"Accept what? There's nothing to accept." I dryly stated

"Mhm okay, whatever flows your boat but remember denial's just the first part."

I groaned, "I'm to tired for this, get out of my room. I want to sleep." I said with a playful tone.

I don't know how Kai could think about such thing. I didn't have feeling for Valentino, yes, he was probably the most gorgeous man I've seen but still, his attitude irritated me to the max making me hate him more sometimes. I'm sure Valentino didn't see me like that as well. Kai was just going nuts, there was nothing going on between me and Valentino.

We all said our goodnights and then I brushed my teeth. There was a couch in the corner of the room. I guess I'll sleep in there. I grabbed a blanket from one of the cabinets and laid on the couch, it wasn't hard but it wasn't soft either. I wrapped myself around the blanket and then I suddenly became aware of what happened.

A murder happened in this room but he needed to do it, if he didn't he would've been the corpse instead of her.

I sighed and closed my eyes trying to fall asleep. Soon, I felt darkness consume my whole body as it felt nice to finally rest after a long tiring day. My mind shut down.

and the last thing I felt was a pair of familiar arms wrap around me before I was put on a soft surface with a warm source beside me making me completely fall asleep.

The sound of continuous coughing made me wake up. Who the hell was coughing?

I rubbed my eyes and tried to open my eyes but the sunlight coming through the curtain blinded me making me squint not seeing anything. I felt something hard below me making me tense. I still wasn't fully awake making me look somewhat drunk but even though I wasn't fully awake I remembered I slept on the couch and as I recall the couch wasn't this hard.

"Looks like both of you had fun when we left..." Kai said around the room making me raise my eyebrows confused. What the hell was he talking about?

I suddenly heard a deep tired groan below me making me jolt upwards. I forced my eyes to open and the view below me almost made me pass out. Valentino's black hair was more messy than normal as strands struck everywhere but nevertheless he was still looking hot.

I froze when I realized something...I was straddling him and Valentino's hands held my waist tightly and with Kai's view it probably looked like we fucked with my shorts that risen up and my shirt that was miraculously nowhere to be seen. Wait, but didn't I sleep in the couch?! How did I get to the bed?

Omg did we sleep fuck?!

"Are you planning to stay on top of me?" Valentino groaned, his voice was raspy and deep. morning voice.

My eyes widened when I realized that with my stupid thinking, I still haven't moved from him. "Why am I on top of you?!"

He chuckled darkly and then I felt him push me off him making me fall of the bed with a thud. "Get off me."

"Wow, you're so kind." I said sarcasm dripping of my voice. I groaned and stood up rubbing my back. "I didn't even want to be on top of you."

"Imagine if you guys sleep fucked..." Kai trailed of laughing walking out of the room leaving us to get ready.

"I highly doubt we had sex while we were sleeping..." Valentino said leaning his head against the headboard.

I rolled my eyes, "Can we change topic? How did I get to the bed?" I asked sitting down on the couch as I tamed my hair.

"I moved you to the bed." Valentino blatantly stated.

"Why?"

"Because I thought you would be uncomfortable on the couch."

"Thanks?"

He sighed shaking his head with a small smirk forming on his lips, "You're overthinking everything. Calm down, we just slept in the same bed. No big deal."

"Yeah, no big deal." I said trying to sound convincing but with the pointed look he was giving me, it didn't sound so convincing.

His attention turned to his phone as it begun to rung, the name 'Lincoln' was in display. He sighed and picked it up accepting the call.

"I'm going to shower..." I whispered pointing to the bathroom, he nodded and turned his attention to what Lincoln was saying.

I showered quickly putting on some light brown cargo pants with a white simple crop top. I applied some makeup to look somewhat decent. I walked out the bathroom to meet Valentino to ask him about what the call was about, if it accorded to our mission or not.

He sat on the bed with grey sweatpants and he had put on a black shirt that clung to his body showing all the muscles that bulged when he moved his arm.

Before I could ask my question he answered it, "We have to go to my dad's hotel. There's a women there that we could get information from."

"You're dad's hotel?" I asked a bit surprised.

"Yeah, My dad has a very well known hotel here in Italy people know him for that but he uses that for cover. For the underground world he's the mafia king."

I raised an eyebrow interested and hummed. "Okay then, so who's this woman?"

It was his turn to raise an eyebrow, "Apparently the women I killed yesterday has a fucking twin named Lizzy, she'll be in the hotel today to meet with some Russians and I can force information out of her. She's in the Russian mafia as-well. She doesn't know her sister is dead yet so that's good."

"Force?"

"God, you ask to much questions..." He stated crossing his arms over his chest imitating my stance.

"Ugh just hurry up and shower."

About 30 minutes later we all got inside the car and I was stuck between Kai and Leo as Melissa had called 'shotgun' as she said it. How about I grab a shotgun and shoot your head?

I tried crossed my arms over my chest but I couldn't as I poked their ribs making me irritating by the second. I clenched my jaw and pressed my palms against my pants tightly as I glared daggers at the back of her head.

"Are you okay? You look...mad." Leo said grabbing my face with his hands and turning my face to him.

"I know." I blandly said.

"Leo you've asked her that for the 10th time now." Kai said staring out the window not caring to look at us.

"Well at least one person cares about my well being." I harshly said sinking in my seat.

Valentino started the car as we drove to the hotel of his father. "You remind me of someone I know." He paused chuckling, "Kai's dog, he would get mad by the littlest of things."

Did he just compare to a animal? A dog specifically?

I chuckled humorlessly, "Funny Mr.Romero, you remind me of someone I know too." I paused and I saw him raise an eyebrow through the view mirror, "You remind me of the homeless dog that was around the corner of my apartment. Long story short the dog died. Such a shame if the same fate happened to you..."

Leo let out a snort making Kai burst out laughing while I smirked as I saw Valentino clench the wheel tightly but the grip suddenly softened to normal.

"I'm impressed Ms.Castillo, I might as as-well give you my surname" he paused letting out a chuckle, "Wouldn't that sound great, Athena Romero. What do you think?"

I let out a chuckle matching his energy, "I don't think so Mr.Romero, I would like to keep mine."

He sighed, "What a shame..."

"You two are literally made for each other, fucking soulmates." Kai said nudging my shoulder reminding me up the conversation we had yesterday night.

I growled, "Don't try to play Cupid Kai."

"Okay okay, I won't." He said raising his palms in surrender.

I sighed and looked up front but I felt a gaze on me and I looked in the mirror seeing his grey orbs stare right back at me with a emotion but before I could identify it he blinked and averted his stare back to the road.

After a long drive, we finally arrived at the hotel. Leo opened the car door to get out but Valentino stopped him and he started explaining the 'plans'.

"This is what's going to happen, Leo you'll stay beside Kai at all times. Kai you'll check the place and see how many Russian member's she's with and Leo while your with Kai check their background info and see if their staying in this hotel tonight. I'll take care of the other twin."

I furrowed my eyebrows and Melissa said what was on my mind, "What about ?" She asked wavering back and forth to me and her.

"You'll both behave and stay right here, in the ." Valentino ordered stepping out the car and closing the door before I could protest.

I—What?

This was dumb, what did he expect me to do here? Stay here and wait till he comes back. Suddenly I got the urge to pee but there's a chance that if I go inside everything might go south resulting in complete chaos but I really needed to go.

About 10 minutes have passed with silence, I really wanted to get out the car. "I really need to use the bathroom." I said turning my head to look at Melissa. She was bouncing her foot up and down.

"Same."

I opened the car door starting to get out but Melissa grabbed my shoulder stopping me. "But Valentino said we should stay in the car."

I raised an eyebrows and scoffed, "and you think I'll listen to him?"

She bit her lip decided her options choosing if she should follow me or stay put. I raised an eyebrow and got out the car walking inside and soon enough I heard her fast steps behind me. I looked around trying to find a bathroom sign but no sign. Where's the fucking bathroom?

I spotted a maid and walked up to her. "Uh hi, do you know where the bathroom is?"

She motherly smiled, "I'm sorry Ms but the only washroom available right now is on the tenth floor." She must've seen my confused reaction as she said, "All of them are being renovated."

I smiled back, "Oh, Thank you."

I made sure Melissa had her phone just in case the others went back to the car and didn't find us there as Valentino would probably tell us a 1 hour lecture of how disobedient we are. We both walked inside the elevator and soon enough we were on the tenth floor. I went inside the restroom and did my business and washed my hands. Women were retouching their make up and others were doing they're hair. I raised my head and looked at the mirror when I spotted a familiar women.

Shit...

She looked around the restroom with her blue eyes and her blonde hair that reached until her neck. My eyes winded and I immediately lowered my head not letting her see my face as my hair made a curtain around my head. I softly kicked Melissa on her foot as she was washing her hands on the sink. I turned my head to the side and looked at her signaling with my eyes what was happening, she understood and did the same as me.

Why did she have to be exactly on this floor?! The fucking odds...

I raised my eyes and looked through the mirror, she stopped looking around and smirked to herself in a sick way. She took something out of her hot pink purse and she walked all the way to the end, removing herself from my sight. I waited a while and she finally walked behind me but the thing she had in her hand was gone. She looked at herself in one of the mirrors quickly and walked out.

I sighed and let my guard down. "That was close..." I whispered to Melissa. She didn't talk but instead she slightly nodded but then she furrowed her eyebrows sniffing the air. I did the same and I couldn't help but notice the weird smell in the air and no it wasn't because we were in a bathroom...it actually smelled weird.

"Can you open the door? It won't budge." I heard a girl ask another making me walk towards them confused.

"What's wrong?" I asked them looking at both at them.

"The door won't open. It's stuck." One of them replied. I raised an eyebrows and pulled the door with all my strength but the door still didn't move one bit. What the hell?

My eyebrows suddenly realized that the women was the last one to get out so she might've locked the door. I raised my hand in a 'wait a minute' gesture and I walked towards the end of the bathroom where some metal thing was rolling on the floor and some fog was coming out of it. I ran back to the door as panic entered my body making me bang on the door.

Suddenly I heard some mutters and a body fall on the floor. My eyes widened more then they were, some girl started yawing while others fell to the floor with thuds that's looked painful. What the hell was happening? I need to get out of here and fast.

I didn't have a gun on me to shoot the door open, I just had 3 of my knives and that wouldn't help. There was literally no escape. "What the fuck do we do?!" Melissa yelled making me panic more and I did the first thing that came to mind. I took of my shirt and wrapped it around my mouth and nose preventing the contaminated air entering my lungs.

Isn't there a window here somewhere?!

I held my breath and started opening each stall trying to find a small window we could get out through. One stall was left but it was the closest to the sleeping fog. I ran back to where Melissa was standing and took another sharp intake of air as the fog was starting to overcome all the room. I ran to the last stall opening the door and luckily there was a small window we could fit through. I poked my head out and waved to Melissa making her come to me.

We both were on the tenth floor, making it really high and if we fell we would literally be plastered on the sidewalk. Oh god what if I fell to my death?!

I had to take a risk, I wasn't going to die in a restroom. I stood up on the toilet and opened the window. I poked my head through and looked down making my stomach turn with fear. There was no fucking balcony just a thin ledge...very thin. Only half on my feet would be able to fit there! I squeezed my way through the window with Melissa behind me and I carefully gripped the wall as I turned around and placed my feet on the ledge.

Just one small tilt forward and I fall to my death, there was nothing to hold on or stopping me from falling. I tried to wonder my mind about how high I was but I looked down and I realized how high we were. We were so high that the people walking on the sidewalk looked like small dots.
