Nathaniel's POV

Today is Savannah's last therapy session and she has almost made a fully recovery. She is finally coming home today so we've set up a surprise party for her. After she was out of hospital she had to go and stay at the therapy treatment centre and from there I wasn't aloud to stay. I hated leaving her at the end of the day and the first week I had to I didn't sleep well knowing she was there alone. Today mom and I are going for the last session while the others get the house ready, we also had Brooke and her parents fly in for this.

"Nathaniel let's go!" Mom yelled from the door

I ran down the stairs and basically trampled Austin who was so locked on his phone he didn't see me coming. I groaned and stood up luckily my non broken arm broke my fall along with Austin's body.

"Watch where you're going" Austin barked and I rolled my eyes mimicking him in my head

"Nathaniel!" mom called from outside this time

"I'm coming Ma!" I quickly left the house and met my mom in the car where she drove the the therapy centre. When we walked in Savannah was sitting there

"Hey baby" I leaned down and kissed her

"Hey you" she smiled "Hey ma"

"Hi sweetheart"

Sometimes Savannah would call mom 'ma' but she still mostly called her Lauren, I think she's adjusting to eventually call her mom.

"Ahh and the family is here, great let's get started" Freddie, Savannah's therapist said

"Yay!" Savannah cheered "And then I get to go home right?" she asked Freddie

"Yep home to the fam"

Savannah smiled brightly and from there she did her last three hours of physical therapy.

"Come on four more steps and you're done" we all cheered as Savannah made her way to me and when she did I picked her up and spun her around

"I'm so proud of you" I cheered but placing my lips on hers. Every kiss we share still feels like fireworks, every kiss feels like the first one all over again, every kiss still gives me butterflies, every kiss I fall more in love.

"Savannah!" Mom squealed "I am so happy for you sweetie"

"Thank you" she said to the three of us "I couldn't have done it without all of you"

"Let's go get your things" I grabbed her hand and we went to her room. It was a small room with white walls and furniture, a twin size bed with white sheets and a chest of drawers, she also taped a couple pictures on the wall but those and the tv was all there was. Mom had brought her a duffel bag to put all her things in so I went and unloaded the drawers, when I got to her underwear I saw a pair of lace panties and held them up to her "I like these" she blushed deeply and turned away

"Will I have the pleasure of seeing you in them?" I asked

"You'll be lucky" she mumbled still as red as a tomato

I chuckled and finished packing her clothes as she removed the pictures from the wall.

"Could I uh could I sleep in your bed tonight?" She asked after a couple moments of silence

"Of course, I've hated not sleeping next to you the last month" she smiled at my response and continued with the pictures. When we were finished we met mom and she was just finishing filling out the paperwork to bring Savannah home.

"You kids ready to go?" she asked when she saw us and we both nodded. She finished the paperwork and we headed to the car, Savannah and I sat in the back while mom drove.

"So what have I missed?" she asked

"Not much really, Austin's been talking to this girl Taylor but hasn't made a move yet and Parker and Mia find out the genders this week and are having a revealing party oh and you might wanna talk to Brooke, her and Brayden have hit a rough patch"

"How rough?" she sighed

"Well they're on a break and now Brayden is barely coming out of his room"

"Oh no. Why are they on a break?"

"He won't say"

"Kids we're home" Mom said

I grabbed Savannah's bag and her hand and we walked in the house

"Surprise!" everyone yelled and Savannah jump ten feet off the ground

"Oh my god!" Savannah turned to me "Did you plan this?"

"I might have had a little help" I shrugged

"Savannah!" Brooke and Rachel both pulled her into a bone crushing hug "We missed you so much"

"I missed you guys too"

My dad and brothers, Mia, Brooke's parents and Ashton's dad and Rachel's mom all came and hugged Savannah too and my mom brought out a cake that said 'welcome home Savvy'

We cut the cake and all the parents talked while Rachel and Brooke talked to Mia and they guys watched the soccer game on tv. I looked over at Savannah who was sitting on the other couch with her head resting against it, every once and awhile her head would bob. I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around waist while she laid in between my legs

"Go to sleep, everyone will still be here when you wake up"

"Can go to my bed?" She mumbled already dozing off

"Of course princess" I scooped her up in my arms and she rested her head on my shoulder "Savannah's tired so she's gonna go lie down for an hour" I said to everyone and they all nodded. I carried Savannah up to her bed and place her under the covers. When I reached the door I heard Savannah say "Nate" I turned around

"Yes princess?"

"Stay" I smiled and walked back over to her climbing in beside her she shuffled over closing the space there was between us and rested her head on my chest and I wrapped my arms around her waist. This reminded me of one of the first times we ever slept together and I smiled at the thought. I looked down to see Savannah already fast asleep and slightly snoring. There was a knock at the door and mom came in "Hey sweetie just wanted to let you know dinner is in an hour"

"Thanks ma"

"She really makes you happy" Mom commented

"More than anything"

"I'm proud of you Nathaniel"

"Thanks ma" with that she left and I snuggled back up to Savannah listening to the steady beat of her heart.
