I've been spending a few weeks in front of the laptop inside of my room, I've been waiting for any emails or a call from any university that I've signed my name in it.

These weeks has been so stressful and kinda hard for me to get through without any worried feeling for not being accepted by any of the university that I've signed my name for.

Apollo is nowhere to be found and we seem lost contact for a few days because we're working on our college that's going to lead to our future life. I haven't talk to him for a week, i called him so many times but i still can not reach him. The last thing he said to me was that he's going to be so busy for the next few days or maybe for the next couple week.

I try to understand him cause i know how ambitious he is when it involved something with his school and future, being a good partner for him i have to understand and support him. I'll be there if he needs me and i'll give some space if he needs some. And now it seems he needs some space to focus on his goals, a college.

My brain said that i have to give him some space but my heart said that i need him by my side to support me, I really do miss him a lot. But i know it is also for his best, he needs a spare time alone to take care of his college.

I stand in front of the laptop staring on my empty email, i lean my back on the soft chair before someone suddenly knocked on my door.

"Can i come in?" Laura's voice appeared.

"Of course" i said.

The door being opened and revealed Laura's wearing an outfit that seems ready to go, i turn my head around before she suddenly asked me.

"Lana you've been sitting there in this room waiting for your results and i think you need some time to brush your stressful mind away" she said while walking closer into me.

A little break sounds good, Laura is right i need a time to have fun for a while, rather than keep thinking about the results from the university.

"Let me change for a bit" i said getting up from the seat.

I change into a shirt and a jeans, i wonder who's going to look after Jacob when we're away. Is Laura going to bring him with us? Cause I wouldn't mind if she does that. I walk out of the closet then went down the stairs, i called for Laura and found her drinking an orange juice.

"You're ready?" She asked before walking to where i am standing.

"Where's Jacob?" I asked her.

"In my parent's house" she said before walking passed me.

We walk into the main lobby and found a black car ready to bring us to the mall, does Laura really planned this for me?

I sit right next to her while checking on my phone, i keep checking on it hoping that i got a call from Apollo. I really want to talk to him and tell him how's my feeling, cause I really need a person to talk to especially on these hard days. I used to tell him everything, about my feeling and literally everything in my mind and i always found a comfort and relieved after i told him everything.

"Lana is it okay if we stopped at gabriel's office for a moment" laura suddenly asked.

"Of course" i said.

I forgot when is the last time I stepped into the main office, umm probably after the cruel accident that i had. The car gets into the main building before it stops right in front of the lobby, the security guard begin to open up the door for me and Laura.

"Good afternoon Miss Valerie" the security guard said.

"Good Afternoon" i smile before following Laura to get into the office.

We walk into the main elevator with a silver Vip card on Laura's hand, so the elevator won't stop in the middle of our way to his office, we can get into Gabriel's main office right away.

The elevator stop and the door begin to open, the first thing i see is the secretary desk with a familiar lady that greet us with a smile. Laura and i walk straight away into Gabriel's office, She pushes the big wooden door that has a metallic door knob.

Gabriel looks up from his laptop that sitting on his desk, he smiles when he sees Laura walks in. Laura walks into him right away while i close the big door behind me, my eyes are locked with their actions and a smile begin to appear on my face when i see how Gabriel and Laura interact with each other.

I wanna know how it feels like to visit your husband while he's working, especially when he own the company.

"This is your phone honey" Laura said before putting his phone on Gabriel's wooden desk.

I begin to walk into the other side of the room and make myself feel comfortable sitting on the big leather sofa. I look around the office and it is still the same from the last time i went here. Gabriel is so boring, either my dad's or gabriel's office are so boring. Even though they can redecorate it whenever they want.

"Thank god i have you" gabriel said.

Both of them still talking about some stuff and here i am checking on my phone hoping there's a text from Apollo or maybe a missed calls from him but, I didn't get any of them.

I push the home bottoms then begin to tap on the email app, i slide it down to refresh it and my heart seems stop for a moment when i see an email from one of the college in the US that i signed my name into.

My heart beats faster when the phone screen begin to show me the letter, my eyes automatically skipped the opening part and scroll it into the most important part.

Congratulation you're being accepted as a medical student in University of California, Los Angeles.

"You gotta be kidding me" is the first word that came out of my lip.

"I'm shaking, really oh my god" i said standing up from the sofa before walks into Gabriel and Laura.

"What?" Laura asked and grab my phone from my hands, both of them read the message before shout in an excitement.

A smile can not leave my face since the first time my eyes land on the simple email from UCLA, that is so crazy how they're actually accepting me as a medical student.

"Gabriel Where's mom and dad?" I asked him in an excitement.

"They're at the main office room" He said with a big smile on his face looking at me.

"Oh god i should run my ass of" i said before running out of his room and went straight to the elevator.

It took a few minutes before it actually opened and revealed a few workers with a coffee on their hands, i guess they're just having a lunch together. I walk in with a big smile on my face, they're probably think that I'm a crazy daughter of the main boss Karl Valerie.

The bell inside of the elevator suddenly rings before the elevator door slowly begin to open. I ran out of the elevator straight to Emilia's desk,

"Emilia!" I shout at her name and i feel bad to see her got shocked when i came in.

"Christ Avalana" she said closing her eyes still in shock and i just smile.

"Sorry" i smile.

"Are mom and dad inside? Are they busy?" I asked her.

"They're just finished a meeting a few minutes ago" she said looking down at some of the paper on her desk.

"Okay i gotta go bye" i said before running through the grey hall to the big dark wooden door.

Before even thinking i open up the door with my phone on my hand and an uncontrollable breath,

"Lana?" My mom got surprised when she sees me walk in while trying to catch my breath.

"Mom mom mom" i walk into her and i can see my dad is also sending me a curious look.

"What darling?" My mom asked as she puts both of her hands on my shoulder.

I unlocked my phone then show her the letter from UCLA, I'm standing right in front of her with a smile on my face waiting for her reaction.

"Oh my god!" Is the first thing she said.

"Oh my goodness! Karl! She's going to the Medical school in UCLA" my mom said with a big smile on her face before giving me a hug.

My dad stands up from his seat and walks into where my mom and i are standing, he grabs my phone and read the message. Finally a smile appeared on his face and I cannot feel happier than this.

"I'm so proud of you my darling" my mom begin to hug me.

"How about the others?" My dad asked.

"Haven't got any information" i said.

"That's okay at least you already got one!" He said looking so happy.

The big wooden door suddenly being opened by Gabriel and Laura with a big smile on their faces. Gabriel walks in with a white letter on his hand, i was wondering what it is until i see the Oxford Logo in front of it.

"Oh no way no way" i ran into him then grab the letter right away.

My heart beats so faster and i feel I'm getting sweaty since the time i ran here, my hands are also shaking can't handle all of these emotions in one freaking day! I hope it is going to be a good one, while at least i already got one from UCLA.

"Whatever the result is, it's okay darling" my mom said.

I'm standing in front of my family while slowly open the letter from Oxford, I ripped the letter then pull the main paper out. I started to read it slowly then

Congratulation and welcome to the Medical school of Oxford University.

"Mom" i said with a straight face.

"It is okay my darling, you can stay with us here in the US" my mom said.

"I got it" i said.

"Oh god! Lana I'm so proud of you!" Laura is the first one who hugs me.

"Goodness you're so brilliant" my mom said before give me a kiss on the forehead.

"Yo sister can't believe you're smarter than me" gabriel said hugging me.

"Hey everyone is good on their own field brother, thank you so much" i said.

"We're so proud" my dad said.

"Thank you so much" i said while smiling.

"Now you just have to choose where do you want to go" my dad said and I realize that i have to make another hard decision.

"I prefer Oxford" my dad said.

"Let her choose, she's a college student now" my mom put her arm around my dad's shoulder.

"Okay whatever you want to choose at the future, how about having a family dinner tonight?" Gabriel said as he put his arm around Laura's shoulder.

"Okay, tell Emilia to reserve the place at Avalana's Favorite restaurant" my dad told my mom.

"Don't forget to invite Apollo Okay sweetheart" my mom said before decided to walk out of the room.

Talking about Apollo, will he pick my call now? Nobody knows that we haven't talk to one another since almost a week ago. But i'll try to reach him tonight, besides i want him to be the first person to know about this good news after my family.
