i narrowed my eyes at rosalie when she placed her barefoot on my desk and took up my small purple journal.

"can i go through this?" she shook the journal in her hand.

"i respect you for asking, but no." i said and she hummed and placed it down.

"how about this one?" rosalie took up the black dairy and i shook my head rapidly.

"absolutely not." i quickly denied.

she chuckled and placed it down.

rosalie took down her foot from off of my desk and got up, cracking her knuckles. she slipped her shoes back on and took up her bag.

"i'm leaving now." she said softly and i nodded.

a part of me didn't want her to leave but i just waved her a bye as she walked to the door.

i didn't offer to her walk her out nor anything, cause why?

"stay." i blurted out.

my hand flew over my mouth and i rapidly shook my head.

no, no, no, stupid. i scolded myself.

i felt her gaze on me and i looked down. i hear her footsteps nearing me and i soon saw her shoes. a hand was placed underneath my chin and rosa lifted my face.

"you want me to stay?"

i nodded slowly.

"all you had to do was say that." she leaned down and connected our lips in a slow and short kiss.

i walked on the field. i was going to ask her to prom since its coming up and she hasn't asked me yet. i held the roses behind my back and walked to where she was training.

standing behind her, i tapped her back and rosalie turned around.

"hey, baby."

she connected our lips and soon pulled back.

"what's up?"

i fondled with my fingers nervously and looked up at her.

"i-i wanted ask-" i started stuttering.

"spit it out, lia."

"will you go to prom with me?"

by now, her cheermates were gathered around us.

rosalie's face fell and she shook her head softly.

"i-i can't."

"what? w-why not?"

"someone already asked me and i agreed to go." she whispered sadly.

i nodded and the roses fell form my hands.

"its okay."

with that, i walked off with tears in my eyes.

i am her girlfriend and she accepted someone else. i sniffed and head to the bathroom to cry.

"lia, baby, wake up." someone shook me and i mumbled something incoherent.

"why?"

"you're crying." i heard her familiar voice whispered.

my hand went to my face and i touched my cheeks and indeed i was crying.

i wiped my face and turned away from her.

rosalie pulled me into her and rested her chin on my shoulder.

"you okay?"

"yeah." i said softly.

"you're going back to bed now?"

"i dunno."

"wanna watch a movie til you fall asleep then?"

i nodded and she got up from out of bed and i did too and we head downstairs and to the living room.
