the day went by pretty slowly and i was wondering if rosa remembered that today is my birthday. i'm eighteennnn!

i placed my book in my locker and i saw rosalie approaching me.

i turned to her.

"can i talk to you?"

i gave her a look, asking why.

"please, lia. it's...important."

i nodded and she led me to the bleachers outside. rosa turned to me and looked at me. guilt and sadness filled her eyes and i looked at her in confusion.

"what is it, rosa?"

"i-um-"

i brought her closer to me.

"i won't judge you on whatever it is you're gonna tell me nor will i be mad."

rosalie leaned down and connected our lips in a soft kiss. i was shocked, but said nothing as i kissed her back with just as much emotion. i felt something wet against my cheek and i pulled back from the kiss slowly.

"i slept with someone else." she choked out.

my heart fell.

"stop playing with me."

rosalie continued to sob softly and my face fell. i backed away from her hand and looked at her.

"wow."

"baby, i swear it wasn't meant to happen."

i gave her a look of disgust.

"just when i thought i could've trusted you you go and do this."

"i-i'm sorry, lia."

"fuck you are." i scoffed.

i walked away from her and i heard a thud, but i didn't look at her.

neymar gave me a look of sympathy and i gave him a bright, fake smile.

he gave me a look that says "i know what's happening behind that happiness."

i sighed and plopped down beside him.

"did you know?"

"this morning when i went to her."

i nodded and played with my fingers.

"she promised that she wouldn't cheat, you know?" i said softly.

"rosalie said that... she wouldn't dare to look at another person sexually nor do anything sexually with them, but...now look at this. look at the situation we're in now."

"cheating and all. not talking to each other and all. like hell. dude, i trusted her not to and she did. this is why i don't date. high school lovers are stupid and they're mistakes! i hate her!" i sobbed.

"hey, hey. i know you don't mean that, lia. maybe there's a reason as to how it happened?"

"what reason could that be, neymar?! she obviously cheated because she want to. she wasn't forced nor drugged nor anything."

neymar looked at me in thought and his eyes widened suddenly.
