The next few days went by quickly. Killian has tried for days to talk to me but every time he did something would come up.

Today was Halloween and the big masquerade party was tonight. I had everything ready and got into my dress.

Fixing my hair I grabbed my mask and made my way down to the ball room. As usual I was a few minutes late. I had forgotten that I needed to put my alarm on to wake me up.

Running down the hall to the ball room I hurried to put my mask on.

"There you are." Daniel said as I took his arm. He waited for me so that we could walk in together.

When the doors opened everyone looked to us. I held onto Daniels arm even more because I was scared.

"I got you." He whispered making me smile.

We walked down the stairs to my mom and Dad who I noticed because of my mothers dress.

"Sorry slept in...again" I said as I saw the look my mother was giving me.

"Daniel let's go talk to some of my clients over here." My Dad pulled Daniel with him.

"Where are the boys?" I asked as a waitress walked by with drinks and I took one.

"Carlos is with Penelope, Thomas is God knows were with a girl, and Marco... well Marco is over there drinking away because his girlfriend has decided not to show up." I looked to see Marco downing another drink.

"I think I have an idea." I made my way to help him.

I walked up to a few of Daniels friends that I had gotten to know over the weekend. We all went to Florida together for a trip and a few of the girls I got to know. One was Kyla and she was sweet.

I walked over to Marco and took the drink out of his hand.

"Marco meet Kyla. Kyla meet my brother Marco." I said taking a sip of the drink I had taken.

"Um hi." Marco said not sure what was going on.

"Marco my brother here has just gotten dumped. Kyla you told me you were looking for someone. You two should talk get to know each other." With that I walked off.

"Looks like you played Cupid for your brother." My grandpa said as he walked over to me. I had been standing around watching everyone have fun. Daniel was who know were by now.

I looked over to see Kyla and Marco laughing. It made me happy seeing that.

"Yeah what can I say. I'm a miracle worker." I brushed some hair to the side.

"What about you? What about that boy..."

"Daniel" papa was still not a big fan of Daniel. He thought he was always to Busy and never spends time with me. It's not Daniels fault he has to work.

"Yeah him. Isn't he supposed to be here with you?"

"He's got work to do." I said moving the bracelet I had on. It was the one that Killian gave to me. I had worn it the other day and I liked it. The camera was what I loved the most.

"His job right now is to try and get you to be with him. If he wants to be your husband he needs to show that he wants you. I remember your grandma when I first started dating her. She told me the first night I went out with her that if I wasn't going to treat her like a queen then I should walk off." He chuckled with sad eyes

"To that day she was my queen. And she will always be." I smiled grabbing his hand "grazie nonno"(thank you grandpa)I said kissing his cheek.

"Prego.(your welcome)Now I think I'm going to go find me someone to dance with." He walked off as the song came on. I smiled watching him walk off.
