I picked up royalty before taking up the tray of food. We went up the stairs and I placed Royalty down to open the door. I opened the door and she walked in before I did.

I closed the door and Giovanna jumped up.

Shit

I was planning to wake her up but not like that.

She sat up and rubbed her eyes.

“Mommy” Royalty said and Giovanna picked her up.

“Good morning princess,” Giovanna said before hugging her.

“Good morning angel,” I said as I placed the tray on the nightstand

“Good morning handsome,” she said and I placed a kiss on her lips.

“Breakfast in bed,” she asked and I nod before grabbing her a robe.

She sat up and place it on. “Let me go to the bathroom-” she fell back down before placing her hands on her legs.

“I got you angel” I smiled before picking her up. I brought her into the bathroom and she said she wanted to pee first.

“I can't concentrate if you're staring at me,” she said and I laughed.

“You need to concentrate to pee”

“Yes” she laughed

“Okay okay," I said before turning around. I walked to the door and Royalty was about to throw my phone.

“Royalty no,” I said and she jumped in fright. She started crying and I walked towards her.

“I’m sorry mama daddy didn't mean to scare you or anything,” I said while picking her up.

“I’m sorry,” I said before kissing her cheeks.

She stopped crying and I smiled at her. I placed her on the ground before returning to Giovanna. I placed her on the countertop and she started brushing her teeth.

I stood at the door frame as I watched Royalty. After Giovanna was done I brought her to the bed and gave her the tray.

“I love you,” she said and I smiled.

“I love you too angel,” I said before picking up Royalty.

“Dada,” she said before pulling my hair.

That reminds me, I need a haircut.

I sat down with her and I started playing with her. Soon she went to Giovanna who gave her eggs and small bites of bacon.

I got up and walked to her table. I picked up the photo book before opening it. The first photo was an ultrasound.

I skipped it and it was a picture of Giovanna showing her tummy.

“Wait,” I said before looking at the picture.

“I saw you that night,” I said and she looked at the picture.

Flashback

I was on my phone when a woman's voice met my ear

“Excuse me,” she said I looked up from the phone.

I moved out of her way and she walked passed me. She had her head down. She had beautiful hair.

She was also pregnant. She walked out with Sasha's cousin I closed my eyes as her features remind me of her.

End of flashback

“You walked passed me,” I said and she looked away before standing up.

“Hey,” I said before taking her hand.

“I understand why you did everything,” I said.

“No. It was wrong that I kept her from you” she said and I sighed before looking at Royalty.

“I’m in her life right now right,” I said as Royalty smiled at me.

She covered her eyes before removing her hands. “Peeka peeka,” she said while grinning.

I smiled as she covered her eyes again.

“Peeka peeka,” she said again and I took her up.

“You dada” she said while touching my hands. I covered my eyes before removing them after a few seconds.

“Peek a boo,” I said and she started laughing.

I did it again and a few times before hugging her.

I looked at Giovanna before taking her hand again. “Come here,” I said and she sat next to me.

I wrapped my arms around her and placed a kiss on both their heads.

“I love you guys,” I said.

“I love you,” Giovanna said and I smiled.

We were now back in Italy and tonight was my ball. Today's my birthday by the way.

“Good morning birthday girl” Liliana smiled

“Good morning. Has Leon come back” I asked

Leon has been in Russia for two days now. He was supposed to be home by now.

“No,” she said and I nod.

“Excuse me,” I said before dialing his number.

“Hey angel" he picked up and I sighed

“Hey,” I said

“How are you?" He asked.

“Well today's my-”

“Hey handsome are you ready for me,” a woman said from in the background

“Leon?”

“Angel I have to go,” he said before hanging up.

I looked at the phone before running my fingers through my hair.

I sighed before a woman walked towards me. “Excuse me miss would you like these flowers or should we use these roses,” she asked

“I don't know,” I said

“Miss-”

I walked away before catching my hair into a ponytail.

I got a message and I looked at it.

Oh and happy birthday angel.

“Miss would you rather-”

“Look I don't know okay”

“How about I take over,” Liliana said and I nod. I walked out before going to our room.

Come on Giovanna. Your boyfriend couldn't be here for your birthday okay it's not the end of the world.

I closed my eyes before putting on a smile. I walked out and check on Royalty. She was still sleeping.

I went to the kitchen and got a bottle of water. “Good morning birthday princess,” Liam said as they walked into the kitchen.

“Good morning guys,” I said

Silas grabbed two big boxes of milk from the fridge, Liam grabbed the bowls, Hunter grabbed the cereals and Archie grabbed the spoons.

Liam laid out the bowls then Hunter filled the bowls with cereal before Silas poured the milk inside. Archie hand them their spoons before they sat down and started eating.

They looked at me and I almost laughed. “Do you guys do that every morning?” I asked

“Ever since the chef got sick,” Silas said.

“Teamwork makes the dream work” Hunter smiled.

“I can see that” I smiled.

After they were done they placed their dishes in the sink. Before they could walk out I grabbed my knife and threw it at the door. They all stopped in their tracks before turning around.

“The dishes aren't going to wash themselves,” I said

“No, but the maids-”

“The dishwasher is right there make it useful,” I said and they sighed.

“But we have work-”

“Now if you like having your dicks” I said while pulling out my other knife from my holster.

They quickly collected their dishes and loaded the dishwasher.

I placed my knife back and got up. I got up and Leonora and Lily were walking to the door.

“Hey guys”

“Hey,” they said after turning around.

“What’s up-”

“We’re headed for the warehouse,” Leonora said

“Your lying” I frowned

“Okay we're going to get your gifts,” she said and I looked at Lily.

“Ok I believe you,” I said with a smile.

“We’ll see you later. Love ya bye” Lily said and they walked out.

My day was spent with my daughter and Liliana. Everyone else was at work are something.

Everyone was lying today and what hurt the most was I knew they were lying.

This was the first birthday that I actually felt happy about because I had a family now.

I got dressed and applied my lipstick. I smacked my lips together before turning around to look at my outfit.

“You ready princess,” I asked and she looked at me.

I walked towards her and took her toy. I picked her up and placed her tiara on. We walked out and I met Gia, Lily, Leonora, and Sasha.

Falling Liliana's instructions I walked to the stage. I looked at her and she smiled. I looked into the crowd before shifting on my heel.

I had no idea what to do

The lights went out and the room got dark. I reached for my holster and I felt a hand in mine.

“You don't need that" someone said into my ear

“Leon," I said and he moved away from beside me.

The lights came back on and I looked around in the crowd. My eyes quickly went to Royalty's and Sasha and I sighed.

I started crying cheering and I raised an eyebrow. Wait Leon

I turned around and Leon was on his knee. My eyes widened as he smiled at me.

My hands went to my mouth due to shock and he opened the small box.

“Leon,” I said and he got up. He took my hand and turned me to the crowd. He got back on his knee, still holding my hand.

“Angel,” he said before taking a deep breath.

“I use to say love was poisonous, that it kills you on the inside. I thought it was a weakness but after falling for you I realized that your love made me stronger than ever. You changed me for the better and I thank you for that. No, we didn't start off good or perfect in fact nobody does” he said before looking at his parents. He turned back to me and I smiled.

“We fought, we argued, we messed up, we had misunderstandings, we made wrong decisions but no relationship is perfect. We worked through everything and we found love in each other. Giovanna, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want you to be the first person I see in the morning and the only one I lay next to and kiss goodnight. I love you angel and I'll always, always love you. I fell deeply in love with, I'm even still falling each and every day”

“When you find someone you love as much as I love you, Giovanna, there's nothing else to do but get married. Anastasia will you do me the honors in becoming my beautiful wife?” he asked and a tear ran down my cheeks

Wow when did I get this emotional

Oh yeah, Leon Valentino changed me.

“Um, Leon-” I pulled my hand away and he looked into the crowd. His smile disappeared as he looked back at me

“Angel-”

“Leon of course I'll be your wife,” I said and he sighed. “Thank god” he whispered before taking my hand. He slipped the ring on before standing.

He pulled me into a kiss and my hands cupped his cheeks. He pulled away before leaning his forehead on mine.

“You scared me for a bit,” he said and I smiled.

“Good because I was going insane today because you weren't here,” I said

“I’m sorry angel,” he said and I placed a kiss on his.

“Happy birthday,” he said and I smiled.

I turned around and placed my hand in the air as the crowd cheered. Half of the people here I had no idea who they were but I was grateful that they were here.

Leon pulled me back into him before pulling me into a passionate kiss.
