《Rise of the Forgotten》Ch. 35 Building Foundation and Training

I woke up several hours later. As I woke up I noticed that my pillow was unusually warm. Confused, I got up and looked at the pillow. It wasn't a pillow. Getting up I looked at the Maiden straight in the eyes. She had a light blush on her face and seemed a little embarrassed. I yawned and left the couch looking for something new to wear.
"How long have I been asleep?" I asked.
"Only a few hours. You looked exhausted so I didn't disturb you." She replied.
"Sorry about that, I had a really busy couple of days," I said as I started to change my clothes. I was in my walk-in closet. It was mainly filled with robes that would cover my body.
"It's nothing to worry about. I must be leaving though I have… maiden things to do." She said after a brief silence. She quickly left my room soon after. I wonder why she was in my room in the first place. Guess I'll ask her later.
With that, I got dressed and left my room. I got a random priest to show me where they put the purified. They quickly took me to another part of the massive temple that contained my people. They were put inside an enormous room that was filled with beds and cots. The people inside all had relieved looks on their faces and looked better than they did when we left the prison.
As I entered they all looked at me and started to swarm at me. They didn't run at me so it was fine. They then got on their knees and bowed to me, each thanking me for freeing them from their torment. After spending a year in the Tailmen I had gotten used to this type of treatment. They also professed their want to serve me in whatever that I needed.
They would now integrate and increase the size of my guard. I now had around 15,000 guards that would be fitted with the best armour and weapons. I intended to have them become the best warriors that I could create. They would accompany me and carry out my orders. They are my Eternal Guard and they shall serve till death.
As I accepted them I had then had them report to the rest of the guard. With the formation of my Eternal Guard, I decided to form more elite and more specified groups. They would be my assassins The Black Hand, my forgers The Golden Hammers, my spies The Silent Whispers, and my researchers The Seekers of Truth. These groups would be under my direct command and answer to no one else. They would train for their purpose and execute it with near perfection. They would be my Imperial Retinue.

With my mind made up I had a message sent out to first form my spies. They would be made up of orphans and would begin training immediately. They would be found young and trained from there. This project of mine would take years to fully develop the foundations but would be very helpful in the future. After all, while Erendial and Aldion are extremely helpful, their sight could be evaded. That is where The Silent Whispers would come in.
Once I had conquered the other galaxies I would then begin the formation of the other groups. I checked up on the progress of making the war machines and equipment that would be used for the crusade. Things were coming along nicely. Millions upon millions had joined to be part of the crusade. The Orders had also increased in size by multitudes. Vast fleets were being made and personnel trained to use them.
Once I read through the report I then went to my Eternal Guards who were at the Indomitable. My ship now 5 kilometers in length had its same T shaped design. To giant engines on either side of the front of the ship forming the head of the T. The hull curved and sleek with guns mounted to the sides to provide fire on all angles. The rear had multiple smaller engines that rested in the hull and helped support the final giant rear engine. This engine had multiple pieces of metal that created a turbine-like casing around and beyond the engine. (Like a T-1 Naboo starfighter in shape. But bigger and more curves between the engines. Kinda)
I took a shuttle and landed inside its immense hangar. Once inside I passed through some of the crew on my way to the bridge. Once there I had the entire crew of my large vessel get to their stations and prepare for departure. Within an hour we were ready to depart. Giving the order the ship started up its engines and started to ascend off of the planet. Once we exited the atmosphere I then had the navigator's plot a course to the most dangerous and time dilated Sub-Space.
They plotted the course and we set off. The Tailmen had worked and survived for years and would continue to do so while I trained my guards. As we were traveling I sent various messages to many people to give me regular reports while I was away. I also had Erendial and Aldion keep a close eye on the federation and the dynasty. I also had the Order that was at the prison that kept the corrupted stay at their stations. I had them retrofit the prison to contain other types of criminals and vile people.

Once orders had been sent out I then went to have the new guards split up into groups each led by an older guard. With the old guard's armour destroyed when I was treating the corrupted they would need new ones. This time I would have them wear uniformed armour to show who they were and who they guarded. I would design and craft this armour while we were training in the Sub-Space. I also had sent out orders for the best materials available to be shipped to the Sub-Space so that I could craft the new weapons and armour.
This entire trip would last a standard year in time. We would only come out in emergencies or when the crusade was about to start. This would give me plenty of time to train their physical and mental strength. I would also have them be schooled in many subjects, with all of them being Omegian this would be easier than with other species.
I would also be training my abilities as well. I will experiment more with the power given to me by the faith of these people. I would also train my physical and mental self as well. With my mist form being combined with my physical form it made me nigh immortal as far as I knew. I would continue to improve my combat ability as well as my ability to lead among other things. The Sub-Spaces danger level and time dilation were perfect for that.
A few days later we arrived at a heavily guarded Sub-Space portal. Passing right through we were treated by immediate attacks from numerous creatures. They were slaughtered by the cannons and turrets across the ship. Drones and fighters were also unleashed to have them gain experience. They sliced through the creatures and killed many. Though these creatures fell easily they were only the weakest among the many different types of creatures in here.
The ship flew through the space until we got a good distance into it. Here we would begin the training. The ship stayed in place as shuttles filled with supplies and people flew down onto a vast floating island. This island was the size of multiple continents and had many different biomes to train in. Within hours we set up our main base with the Indomitable guarding us. The ship would stay here and protect this main hub while we trained across the island.
Once the base was set up in a very basic manner the training then began. The guard's split up into groups and equipped themselves in the same mass-produced armour that the main army would use. I would craft them their true armour throughout the training. They would prove themselves worthy of it first.
Equipped with the armour they then took their weapons and left into the forest that surrounded the base. They would find and hunt for their food themselves. As they departed I started to get ready myself. I would not use my armour or weapons and only use my body and UE skills to fight. This first stage of the training would last for 3 months inside here. Outside it would be a single day that lasted 24 hours. The whole duration of this training would take around 92 years by the time that a year passed outside.
This massive time difference was balanced by the vastly dangerous types of beasts found within. Some could be as massive as ships and go head-on against them. Some could be entirely resistant to all types of energy and only be killed by melee weapons. This was the standard within this Sub-Space. Though only the most dangerous beast could be found deeper in the Sub-Space. They could still be found roaming around the entry point of the space. Even the Indomitable, if at full strength, could be destroyed by some of these beasts.
With these factors coming here is an extremely high-risk high reward situation and I will abuse it to my utmost capacity. With this in mind, I left the base and ventured beyond the tree line. Roars were heard during these 3 months from all over the island. Our training finding no rest.
