《Beware of Zombies》Positive thinking Day 1

“Hey, so big guy. What is the plan?” I floated next to him, pestering him with questions.
He turned his hooded head at me before jerking to dodge a car haphazardly positioned in the street.
I heard him cursing up a storm.
“There is a gang that is fighting us for territory. Under the Mistress guidances, we cleared out this city of zombies. Well the inner city, the outer city still has some. However, all survivors have to pay allowances in food or materials to stay within the protection zone. Sometimes they pay men or women. Those random survivors who make it to the inner city, but don’t know the process.” He yelled over the sound of his engine.
“A while back, a group decided to protest this treatment. They aren’t wrong, they just picked the wrong person to war against. She isn’t exactly sane, but I’m sure you experience her daughter, so I don’t need to warn you of this. In gist, we are to put down the men and take back the women. The women are actually the rulers of our societies. Well the smart ones that agree with her choice of dictatorship. The dumb ones are locked up in cages and set to be used by us Meta slaves. That’s the gist of the situation and our goal.” He finished yelling, twisting the handlebars.
Lifting up the front wheel like he is trying to have a cool moment, but had to jerk to dodge a car, I slid into the way. He turned his head to stare at me and I waved all innocent like.
“Hi,” I smirked.
It took us ten minutes with his speed to reach an almost destroyed area of the city. I mean, half the building was open to the outdoors. Some existed as plots of rubbles. There were only one or two completed buildings, but the windows were either broken or the doors were missing.

Ted got off his bike at a modern-size office building. The one with the whole supermarket garage out front and a line of different storefronts.
Ah, shopping square, that is what they were called.
“They hang out here. Or so we were told by informants. They have military grade weapons, but they won’t affect me. How about you?” Ted flexed his shoulders and stared at me.
I flexed mine as well, but I am still in the mecha and it didn’t look as cool. So I let spiderwebs of lightning sparkle around me.
He pointed at the far side of the lot. “Clear that side.”
I nodded and flew to the far side. Floating into the empty space, it is very easy for me to pick out living signs of life. The hard part is telling if they were male or female.
I clicked my tongue and ripped a wall down, startling two people who had been sleeping on the other side. They jumped up reaching for their weapons. I hit them with lethal bolts that ripped through their chest. Continuing my path of destruction through the store.
I maybe should have left them alive or given them a chance to run, but I really felt like letting out all my regret. Plus I didn’t know if she could monitor my thoughts or not. To be honest, I knew this was cowardly of me. As I reap these guys lives like gunmen toying with unarmed people, but I feared being stuck inside of my own head. I feared what she could truly make me do if I didn’t have a molecule of control. Thus my reasoning for ripping the lives out of the males and paralyzing the women and children.
It wasn’t the prettiest logic but it was all I had to hold onto. I watched movies where sadist did some really fuck up shit to people they controlled. I did not want to end up living inside a dark box while my body was on autopilot.

It didn’t take me long to come upon the sounds of gunfight. Ted was trapped in a hall, with a thick as fuck steel shield between him and his advesaries. It seemed he could control steel? Or could he generate it?
I floated beside him, looking down like an asshole I was.
“Want a hand?” I offered.
Bullets stopped dead once they entered my electrical field. I know I was looking Godly, ha. Highlights.
Ted snarled at me and moved at the sound of weapons reload. He ran down the hall like he caught fire under his ass. I watched a sword materialize in his hand before he started ripping into people.
I didn’t understand why he didn’t wrap himself up in steel armor.
Even though people shot at him from behind, only I noticed the small scales that blocked the bullets from hitting him. That level of control is utterly amazing. For me to get to where I am, I had to rely on a control training plan. This guy is doing it without such a complicated training plan.
I walked into an office of girls that were huddled together. Shivering and looking like they were victims.
Sigh, damn.
They all were going to be super grateful to Hannah’s Mom, huh? Next gen of women Feminist and I had guys too stupid to think, to thank for this.
I kind of already miss paradise. I wondered if Mrs. Harper is staring at my location and watching me in action. Tsk, I know that bitch received my coded message to figure out how to reserve control using my ability.
I hoped I didn’t become one of those guys that hated all women due to what I am probably going to experience. Being sober isn’t the way to live. Hm, I better keep thinking positive. Positive thoughts only.
At least, I won’t be without female company. Haha, the only positive that came to my mind. How sad.
I turned away from the girls and floated back down the corridor. I picked off the stragglers that he failed to find due to their excellent hiding space. After I was done picking off the weak stragglers, I searched for fat boy Ted.
I found a big boy pulling bullet fragments out of his chest. I guess some did get through with his crazy style of fighting.
“How are you going to transfer the women over?” I asked to waste time.
He pointed at the cellphone on the table beside him.
“More enslaved metas like us will be escorting a bus over. Gather all edible food and women in the parking lot.” He commanded, the last bullet fragment fell out his body and I watched him heal at remarkable pace. “Rank 3 meta according to Military Scientist.”
Oh, interesting.
I spun around, walking in mid air because it looked cool. I carried all the women to the parking lot and let him hunt for food. I was too lazy to do that.
Wait, a better reason. I was too powerful to do menial labor. Ha, sounds better.
See, I’m looking on the bright side already.
