A whole week has passed since the incident. Adam was going to school again; so that he could recover from the incident, they gave him the full week off. Although, a week was not enough for the boy to recover the smile on his face.
If it wasn't for his father's insistence, Adam would probably have dropped out of school, but his father always warned him that the path for those who couldn't read was even worse than Sofia's; therefore, Adam ended up going to school.
Arriving at school, Adam noticed her as normal as always, as if nothing had happened, this time he saw that Cesar was sitting with a stool at the door of the hexagon. When Cesar looked at him, he said to Adam with a smile:
—I hope you've recovered, Adam. We've made a few changes to your class to make you feel more comfortable. Come, I'll walk you to the classroom. Anyway, if you feel bad during class, you can come to the principal's office to talk for a while.
Adam nodded and followed Cesar to the classroom, the room hadn't changed, but this time two unknown faces were looking at Adam, besides Achilles who seemed to be still his teacher.
Noticing him coming, Achilles ran to the door and hugged Adam, while he said:
—Adam, my favorite student. I really owe you a favor for yesterday.
Adam didn't quite understand what Achilles meant; he only remembered that his teacher had passed out. After the strange reception, Adam went to his usual bank and sat down to wait for classes for the first time in his life. Seeing that everything was going correctly, Cesar said goodbye and went to continue his duties as director (or continue reading).
—Well, we're all here!—Achilles said with great euphoria; it seemed that from the depths of his soul he wanted these boys to love him — First, the name of our course changed; that's why the new faces and that's why I'll be your teacher from now on. Before I was the teacher of the special children course, now we are class S-2.

The students listened carefully to their teacher, Adam looked very carefully at the children next to him, besides Sofia, this was the second time that he was near other children and now there were two. Meanwhile, Achilles went on to say:
—The first thing we're going to do is introduce ourselves.—For that, I want Adam to teach them how to do it.
Adam proceeded to introduce himself as the teacher had explained to him in the first class; he felt really happy that he could have learned at least one thing in this week and so much. Once Adam finished, Achilles introduced himself just like him as he had done before. Now it was the turn of the other two students, unknown to Adam.
—My name is Bianca, I'm 10 years old, and I'm a student on the middle floor 4 of 5, hex 8 of 18. You could say that I love to paint, and I have no doubt that I hate insects. When I grow up, I want to be a painter. My parents are tailors.
Bianca had black hair and green eyes, she was dressed in the same white robe as Adam, and she seemed to be wearing two cute gold earrings in her ears. Adam was surprised that this girl's voice was quite different from Sofia's, and she spoke more like him; that is, with the childishness of a child and dragging some complicated words and little used as a tailor. Then the other boy in the room stood up:
—My name is Franco, I'm 9 years old, and I'm a student from the middle floor 4 of 5, hex 8 of 18. You could say that I love to play with some bookshelves, and I have no doubt that I hate being punished. When I grow up, I want to be a missionary. My father is an inquisitor.

Franco had brown hair and turquoise eyes, he was dressed in the same robes as Adam. But he had an insignia engraved on the sleeves of his robe. The insignia looked like an open book with a candle in the middle. Franco also had a diamond earring, but only in one of his ears.
—Very well, he congratulated you guys, you all did well, —Achilles said with a smile—Now I'm going to give both of you your books. As their parents asked me, the two of them will learn the language of the upper floors; his partner Adam is learning the language of the middle floors or as they are known in their houses: the language of wood.

Life of a Core
After a disembodied voice had told him he was what amounted to an exceptionally talented rock, it had been hard to not let it go to his non-existent head. Until, random chance had decided to give him a square kick in the minerals. Which had in turn forced him to fend for himself in an unknown land, all while he attempted to make sense of his place in the world. Truthfully though, all he had really wanted to do from the start had been to bury himself a hundred feet below the ground and be left to his own devices. Yet, for one reason or another, nobody ever seemed willing to leave the dungeon-building core alone long enough to actually make one. Each chapter will average around two to three thousand words, the release schedule is still a WIP but you should expect the first six chapters to be released over the next six days. This is planned out as a dungeon building fiction, but don't expect it right off the bat! The story is a depiction of the everyday adventures (alongside an overarching plot) of what I imagine a dungeon core would experience when thrust into a random environment where everything and everyone tried to covet or eat him. I also really enjoy reading the comments and reviews people leave and would love to get some reader involvement with the story itself, likely through polls at the end of each chapter. I hope you enjoy my story! (If you feel like some of the characters seem familiar, you may have read some older work I wrote a while back under a different account. If you happen to be one of my old readers and recognize the similarities, I'm happy to have you back!)

Mature tag is checked so I can write without censoring myself. I think I've hit or approached language, gore, and sexual content at this point so... yeah.

Luminether Online: A LitRPG Fantasy Adventure
A year after the tragic death of his best friend, Carey Walsh copes with feelings of guilt and loneliness by trolling strangers online. His secret little addiction becomes a nightmarish odyssey when he trolls a billionaire inventor of a futuristic VR simulation housed on a faraway tropical island. The game, known as “Luminether Online,” is actually an experiment meant to rewire the brain’s empathy centers - an experiment that kills the bullies it attempts to fix. Suddenly trapped inside, Carey encounters an epic fantasy world full of vibrant magic spells, terrifying monsters, and ancient gods who left behind superpowered races of humans – one of which Carey must choose as his avatar. Armed with the most basic armor and sword, he must level up, stop a guild of necromancers hellbent on world domination, and do it all while playing as an orange-eyed "Feral" rogue with a furry tail and amazing stealth, agility and parkour skills. But there are other, more toxic, players who will do anything to win, even if it means committing real-life murder against their competitors. In order to win the game, Carey must recruit allies, explore the mythical world of Astros, and unlock the secrets of this baffling new reality - because the truth is not what it seems. Luminether Online is a standalone LitRPG novel, though it is set in the same world as a different series known as The Luminether Series, a non-LitRPG epic fantasy.
