《Asher the Insane》Aini the Enslaved
Advertisement
From some distance, I already heard the slave drivers bringing in another unfortunate person.
The one that was brought in had to be restrained by four of them.
He was tall and must have been very well built because they were struggling to hold him down, just from a glance it was clear that he was a beast-man.
They opened the cell door and threw him into the one I was rotting in for a few weeks now.
He didn’t stay down for long, he rushed at the now locked cell door and rattled it with all his might.
For a split second, I had the hope that he would actually break it down but then he stopped.
He looked at the corner of the cell where I was sitting and watching him.
He wanted to say something but it was clear that we did not speak the same language then he wanted to use a skill, most likely to translate but the slave collar he wore suppressed all skills that he had.
Every slave here wore one.
He put his hands on the collar to rip it off.
I wanted to stop him, he would only hurt himself and the effort would be useless, even his strength would not be enough.
Or that's what I thought.
He ripped it off with such force as it was made of paper.
I didn’t know what he cast but in the blink of an eye, his whole demeanor changed.
From a strong, noble, beast-man that could not be kept down to… this.
“Don’t need skills when you got a high STR level.
Hello there pretty lady, you’re not from the beasts too, are you?
Sure don’t look like it.
Maybe you’re an albino? You’re very white, very much so.
You need to be in the sun for a bit.

Though thinking about it, sure doesn’t look like you would turn brown but gray instead, wouldn’t want to ruin your perfect skin.
You look like a geisha in preparing, having already applied the skin makeup.”
I was lost for speech.
“Hey, how do you think I look? Do you think I’m handsome?”
He opened his mouth and showed me his teeth, “are my teeth long? They sure feel a lot longer than I’m used to.
I’m a horse guy? Feels like it. Are we called Beast-folk or Demi-Human, I wonder. Would you know of any beast race that kind of looks like a horse? I could be a donkey guy. Sure am not a zebra, got no stripes, see?”
He lifted his shirt to show, with clear effect, that he was stripe-less.
“So, here I am, Homo Equus Ferus Sapien. Thought I would sprout a second pair of legs if I was a horse-man, would have loved to be a centaur but am more of a minotaur. Generally, this beast-man thing is disappointing, I look more like a character from Uma Musume than a so-called beast. Oh well, Kemonomimi instead of furry is good enough. I’m sure there is a spectrum to it though, like the Khajiit from the elder scrolls.
He laughed nervously, “not that I’m disappointed to not be a furry, … haha.”
He finally stopped speaking, “and who’re you, little lady?”
“… I am Wo Aini, who’re you?”
“Oh, you’re about to get your world rocked Aini. Not just yours but everyone else's too.
I’m just your average isekai protagonist, Asher Burell.”

The Brotherhood Archive:Crossroads(Revised)
All people great or small have a story - Patriarch Lord Theris'Heron Soletus, was on the verge of becoming a warden in the Dias Brotherhood until his father holds him back. Instead of proving his skill with culling monsters that plague the land, he is given an assignment different assignment. It isn't one that test doesn’t test his physical strength, but his strength of character. He is paired up with a shy and traumatized boy name Mien. Between Mien’s anxious behavior and the crime he committed, Soletus doesn’t know what to do or what to think. He wasn’t trained for the duty he is performing and has no idea if he is doing the right thing. However, when Soletus’s resolve to help starts to waiver, Mien does something unexpected and Soletus decides that the boy deserves a second chance not as an act of duty but as a friend. Hy'Ruh-Ha is a what I consider a chronicle fantasy. It is a fantasy drama coming of age story inspired by slice-of-life stories I've read and watched. It is heavy on the slice-of-life and does move slow. It is low-stakes fantasy. This particular story is romance free.(2 out the of 4 is re-uploaded under this title) And if you are someone who cares, the POV character is asexual. Crossroad(formally labeled as the intermission stories)- is a novella collection continuing the tale where Hy'ruh-Ha. The collection as followed: Wolf- After spending several months in the swamp post, Oeric'Sheldmartin returns to repair the chasm between him and his son, Soletus. However, a ghost from his past comes to haunt him and could ruin the life he's made completely. Note: Wolf is a bit of a character piece. POV character is Oeric. The Priest and the Priestess- A novella written in the POV of Mien and then Kiao after a series of unexpected events that change their lives. Mien's POV- Mien has spent the last couple of years working not only in the infirmary but training to become a combat chanter as part of his penitence. Then one day, a drug addled elf comes into infirmary and changes his perspective of a friend and puts his knowledge to the tests to figure out a mystery effecting children in town. *Spoiler warning* Kiao's POV- Kiao spent most of her time in the infirmary living the same daily secret filled life and until Mien changed it. Now she has to figure out her future in ways she never thought she would. I'm going for a Tues and Thurs day schedule for the re-upload. I may or may not stick in extra days.

A New Beginning
Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. So, the only solution in the minds of humanity is to dominate and subjugate the unknown variable until it no longer has even the potential to be a threat. They choose to pretend that the unknown variable is lesser, that humanity is superior on no other grounds than that it's humanity. Danny had been stuck with the G.I.W for years when the Young Justice team rescued him. Broken, beaten, and none the wiser of the greater majority of humans, the humans with kindness in their eyes and light in their souls. He's been trapped in the darkness of greed and fear and violence for far too long, and what's left behind is a fractured mind and a trained weapon. Buried underneath that, however, is a young child who is scared and confused, a child that hasn't seen the light of day in years. That child never expected to see the bright side to existence, to see the light shine in the souls of the righteous. That all changed with one group of heroes, and one family of Bats.Cover doesn't belong to me.Cross-published on two other sites*Undergoing heavy editing, nothing plot-wise is changing, I am only editing grammar, mechanics, vocabulary, sentence variation, and formatting and overall I am just making it a more pleasant and refined read :) I am also deleting the A/Ns at the beginning and end of each chapter
