《Amber》Chapter 12 arriving at city

Mc POV
I stretched my arms as I looked at Caramel who I covered with a cloak. If your wondering why it's because the gear sticking out next to her ears in her chestnut hair. I rather we go for suspicious look than have ourselves attracting us wanted attention. Elena got the point so she covered her horns with a red piece of cloth.
Looks like she has a head band and I don't even want to ask how. My eyes went to the huge cavern in front of me. It looks like this was carved over time into the ridge. So based on what Elena said she smelled humans scent near here. We went south for a bit then turned west. And I had Caramel chart a map so we don't get lost. Yep nothing wrong with a 14 year old robot that looks 20. Well her looks won't change so no worries there.
"Master you were making that face again, were you thinking something rude," Caramel asked.
"Not at all," I answered back.
"Misstress do you think these idiots would believe your words that we're just wondering around the world for the heck of it," Elena said.
"They can't handle soul beasts well in numbers and it's rarely that they get people with rare constitution bodies that can go against beasts. But as the system said they're idiots for not being able to unlock that potential at all."
"Master that's harsh to judge them with death sentences before you confirm it first," Caramel said.
I shrugged as I headed into the caverns, Elena seems quiet as we walked in the dimly lit cave.
Instead I focused my ears to the silent echoes of our feet. My eyes lit up as I heard voices far ahead of us.

"Hey do you know what Florence was thinking allowing his daughter to hunt with us for food," Guard C said.
"I mean sure she gets the job done and kills the soul beasts but she doesn't have to criticize us," Guard D complained.
"Well at least we won't starve because of her, but is the city lord sure she's not a beast herself instead of his daughter I mean her supernatural strength is crazy," guard C shouted.
"Mistress your face just broke into a creepy smile," Elena said.
"You clearly saw wrong."
"She seems to be denying it happening why don't you stop teasing her now," Caramel grinned.
Wait are you two ganging up on me, hey as your owner I request you two to stop teasing. You do know I'm 15 years old I'm not a child....I'm not yet 18. I know I'm not a full adult so stop giving me a pitiful look.
"She shouldn't be so full of herself and so harsh on us. The brat should be taught a lesson," guard C said.
Judging by their footsteps their pace is also slow they're about 20 steps away from us.
We silently follow along behind them, Elena laughed softly as if she noted the humans are idiots under her breath. Hey I heard that, I know that we're behind those two guards but they're having a conversation within minding the surroundings. Well from their tone it sounds daily complaining is common.
We stared at the city in front of us below these ledges. There's some stairs on the side big enough for a giant lizard to go through. I'm guessing they use it to transport meat judging from how they said the city lord's daughter has super natural strength that she can use to carry and fight soul beasts. I'm more interested in this individual. But we waited for a bit as I asked Caramel to scan the city so we knew where things were. And also to make sure the guards go to the city first before we go down the stairs or they might notice us. I don't want to be accused to be stalking them and looking weird. So we waited a bit as Caramel ran her scan, red light lit up the whole place. It mostly bounced off the ceiling light crystals though.

We headed into the city once Caramel said her scan was complete. Caramel sighed with a astonished look. "So this is a city," she said.
"I forgot you were just newly born weren't you Caramel," Elena teased.
"Stop who are you," guard a shouted.
"Just traveling around the world for its sights," Elena answered.
"We're just here to rest," I answered.
Caramel smiled as they let us into the city. Rather they kept staring at Elena dreamily. A sighed a breath in relief since we passed the guards I was so tense they might notice Caramel who we had cover herself with a hood so they don't see her gear next to her ears.

The Flesh and Blood Dungeon
This is not the usual dungeon core story. I did not originally plan to make it humorous, but, well, you'll see. This fiction will not turn into a story about a bunch of adventurers who enter a giant boars anus looking for treasure. No promises tho.
