《Amber》Ch 15 bloodied night

mc POV
I woke up startled when I noticed Elena was back. Caramel was still sleeping soundly. I don't know how to feel after that dream. My feelings were confused, there was a hint of anger in me. Am I fusing with Airi. Instead of getting a answer from Elena she shushed me. But I noticed the scent of blood in the air.
Ugh I feel so confused from these dreams. Am I going to turn cold and start hating men because her past. Also it seems Caramel's closeness calms me down. If anything it's like when you have a older sister. Well in this case she's 14 years old but looks 20 so she can pass for the looks department. I just sat in the bed trying to organize my emotions. Rules are weird. I have a strong feeling that these dreams might be more than dreams. Though they throw off my feelings, it makes me feel emotionally unstable.
I want to lay myself back down on the bed and sleep while I sort out my feelings. This made me remember my sisters and their personality of being stubborn. I smiled softly, they my sisters were mostly raised by me since mother was always on trips for work. I cook and cleaned the two back in elementary. I mean 17 and those two are just 2 years apart from me. Haruna has probably just turned 15 and Hana's birthday is in just 2 days.
An intense feeling of hatred fell upon me making me flinch. No this can't be I don't want to be like this. I don't want to be taken over. This is my body Airi! No one's taking my freedom from me. Instead I curled up into a ball on the bed as I tried to fight the emotions from Airi back in those 'dreams'.

??? POV
I ran for my dear life as I clung to my left arm, I was wounded by some unknown creatures. This city was bathed in blood. The guards couldn't even dent those crazy things armor. Rather I'm puzzled by the fact they even tried to spear that monster. It didn't look human from those movements, it had no face, was shaped like a human but only a mouth. It's gender looked male but you can tell it had no gender. It ripped whatever was in its path and eat whoever seemed to be coming into its path.
Even though I know I can't out run it but my life was shortening over the blood loss. A pair of clawed hands ripped into my stomach. Damn I still got caught in the end was the lost thing I thought as I knew it would rip me apart.
MC POV
I let out a painful scream as I stumbled to get the door. "Let me take over your body for now. your useless against that failure experiment from man kind's sin. These things shouldn't be left to the old generation. For this once let me out," Airi reasoned.
"No I wish to have this body for myself. And not to lose it."
"Really then I'll say this the humans back then had a society much like humans before the souls beasts appeared. They used to experiment on other races they caught in secret and ended up with a failure mindless monster that eats anything that has meat and can move. Now let me ask you this they later meet there demise by the very thing they created. Then there was a nuclear war, the soul beasts were created after the nuclear wars. Now let me ask you for this taboo that can move faster and is smarter than you by centuries of survival since then. Can you win," Airi asked.

Her voice sounded cold, but I had the feeling from her she didn't say all of the information for my own good. Rather she obstructed the important facts from me.
"Your me aren't you," I asked shakily.
"Yes at one point. I was you in the past, before they sealed me into a human body as a excuse to reincarnate me. Well the good news was that the soul in this body had died before we were born," Airi joked half heartedly.
"Fine I'll lend you my body but just this once. Let me ask you, if your the past me what are you now," I asked.
"The past ego of you. The current you is me and is the original is you, just your personality has changed because you didn't have all my memories crapped into your brain. Actually that'd hurt for a baby's brain. Especially the centuries of memories so the me then thought wouldn't it be better to start anew without those memories here," Airi answered.
(If your wondering the Airi she's talking to is the personality her original her left in case of a emergency. So as she stated she's not the original since that'd be Clare our mc. Also throughout the chapters Clare may have acted like she didn't care but she does care a lot if her personality gets changed.)
So you idiot did this on a whim, but then that meant it was all in Airi's plan. I shivered at the thought. My hair turned blue green as Airi took over me. A red and black glove appeared on my left hand. Wait did my chest just grow.
"It's no use worrying about your chest. You do know that we can choose our age. Well you haven't hit 20 yet for your age so good luck there. Also my chest is a G cup. Not C like yours," Airi said.
Wait you didn't have to run it in on me, I wanted to shout. Why'd she have to say it out loud.
"I'm sorry that your acting like that because your feminine side is conflicted over it. But rather isn't it just that you don't learn etiquette and to be elegant," Airi countered.
Don't rub it in when your gracefully walking to the front door of the inn. "Caramel and Elena stay put at the inn. And no matter what happens outside stay inside the inn," Airi ordered.
"Understood," they both answered.
Airi gracefully fixed her right bang going into her eyes.
(Damn your more girly then me)
"Now, now don't be jealous I still have to track a failed experiment," Airi said.
(Easy for you to say)
"See I'm not like you who acts nonchalant and acts like she doesn't care but in fact is very girly. But doesn't know how to express her feminine side since she's taken care of her sisters first before her own happiness," Airi countered.
(Lovely to know your not just using my body as excuse to also use those skills of yours to flaunt)
"I wouldn't do that since I'm also you," Airi said.
A halberd appeared in my right hand as she followed the newly made trail of blood in front of us.

Lone: The Wanderer [Rewrite]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer?
