《Evolution of the Twin Xenomorphs》Chapter 6 Mothership and New World

ML POV
Nightfall. What a busy day it was, I thought while strolling through the bushes and trees leisurely. The moonlight shining through the tree leaves scattered like petals, reflecting from Juno's shiny exterior. 『Beautiful...』 『Hm?』 『Nothing. Let's continue searching for the other Yautjas spaceships.』 why are we searching for them? It turns out that even though the Rift Maker function is available, we still lack the energy to open a Rift. I drifted off in my thoughts and discovered that the wisdom stat doesn't increase my intelligence much but helps with recalling memories, specifically ones about movies and games. It's disappointing that I can't recall personal memories but it's not something I need right now so it doesn't bother me much, but the fact I can recall movies and/or games clearer will prove helpful when entering future worlds.
Walking through the bushes, my sights were once again attracted to Junos figure that gracefully strutted ahead. Her hips swaging side to side with that long slender body... I convinced myself that it was simple admiration. Despite the accelerated beating of my heart. It seems there is something important lost in our memories... That's something to worry about in the future when my wisdom stats high enough to remember said memories.
FL POV
I turned back around and continued to walk carefully. I'm happy that I'm now in this form to hide the blush that should be there. My heart thumped louder when I remembered what Jun just said. Why does my heart flutter from that simple word... I couldn't help focusing my attention mostly on Jun behind me, occasionally stumbling in loose tree roots, expertly regaining my composure before it could be noticed. Even though I don't remember my memories well, I do know I was a lawful citizen. But, why do I find killing humans so exciting and pleasurable? The sounds of bones crushing and flesh-tearing had felt uncomfortable at first, yes. But after today's events, it feels very good. Was I always like this? Or is it the xenomorph blood, my blood, that's changing me. Am I still who I was, or... 『Brother, am I still the me you know?』 I stopped, looking expectedly at his figure in the dark which was entirely invisible, except for the glimmering of moonlight in some places. 『Yes? In my eyes, you're still my cute little sister.』 he replied confidently. 『Yeah... I'm just overthinking things』 I smiled. But if someone else were to see it in this pitch dark forest they'd probably scream bloody mary and wish for another pair of legs to run way faster.

ML POV
I could see where she's getting at, I feel the same and I'm honestly still worried about it. Would we eventually become cold killing machines like every xenomorph out there? These worries will only plague our minds, so it's best to push them aside for now. And I did just that because we both stopped on the spot as something entered our senses. 『Juno!』 I shouted and pushed her aside. In the distance, a swooshing sound whished through the air approaching us at a fast speed. The object opened up as wires wrapped around my body and anchored behind me on the tree. Several metal objects spun rapidly as the wires were tightened and restricted my body. The peaceful night was shattered by my pained cries. Juno anxiously rushed to me and sliced at the metallic wires, freeing me. There was no time to sigh in relief because a plasma ball was already behind Juno.
Boom!!!
A bright and loud explosion shattered the tree into splinters and threw us away. I shook myself and stood upright, easily surpassing the Yautjas height that was crouching on a tree branch 50 meters away. It tilted its head playfully and simulated a human laugh, mocking and taunting me. Juno, who was pushed into the bushes recovered from her burning wounds and quietly played prone staring intently at the Yautja. I didn't need to tell her what to do as she already took the initiative, creeping her way towards the Yautja but still keeping a safe distance from it waiting for me to create an opening. I let out a loud screech brandishing my claws and swinging my tail threateningly. The Yautja responded with another plasma blast to my face, more accurately my right shoulder. I avoided it and jumped to my left several meters. We repeated this action until I was already in an unfamiliar area. The Yautja shot another plasma blast which I dodged again cautiously, yet a danger sign alerted in my mind and my tail wrapped around a tree trunk. Before my head was a grid of red lines, one of the many technologies of the Yautja; Proximity mines.

Swish
A couple of meters ahead of me came a spear spiraling towards me which pierced through my shoulder and anchored my body into the cliff behind me. The owner of the spear that had pierced my shoulder walked out from the brush. When it entered the range of my tail, I attacked his head creating a swishing sound in the air. Unfortunately, the Yautja simply leaned backward and stomped down on the tail that was aiming for its heart. How do I find myself always I'm these situations... An unnecessary thought popped up. The Yautja played a voice recording whilst brandishing its wrist blades. 'This is for my brother you ugly mother fucker!' however, its arm only twitched forward slightly. A thin neon line appeared on its neck and a gush of blood showered me. When the Yautjas head fell along with its body, my sister's tail hung low leading up to the tree trunk to reveal its full figure. We left the area swiftly after devouring most of the Yautjas body. The meat speeding up our recovery progress.
『Brother... You won't continue to be a target dummy, will you?』 『.....I'll try to change my status as a target dummy』 she giggled at my words which annoyed me slightly, but she was right so I couldn't refute her words and I didn't want to make a lame excuse. 『Hm?』
[Extracting foreign energy source. New Objective! Open a Rift and escape the pursuing Yautja Mothership!]
Stunned. We both endured the pain assaulting us and glanced to the skies in horror. The Mothership coming personally?! If we could sweat, we'd be sweating buckets right now. Who wouldn't be afraid of the bigshot Yautjas and the behemoth of a spaceship?
『How do I open a Rift?!』
[Create and designate a stable gate to sustain the Rift. However, given the emergency, the hosts can enter an unstable Rift. Doing so will leave this world inaccessible in the future unless you chance upon it through another Rift.]
『Open the Rift!』
[75% of stored energy has been used to open a Rift. The Rift will close in 5 seconds. 3...2...1 Closing the Rift and stabilizing the fluctuating space.]
We leaped into the void like Rift in space, witnessing the majesty of the Yautja Mothership uncloak itself before we disappeared from that world. We had a feeling of being watched from the Mothership, an oppressing force overwhelming us momentarily before lifting without a trace. Within the void, there was no concept of time, of nothing really, yet we were there and it felt strange. Time passed in an instant while also feeling like a very long time. An odd and scary experience...
A familiar yet unfamiliar place entered our senses.

Where Giants Fall
A fantasy LitRPG about traversing through worlds and slaying giants with nothing but a wooden suit and an army of treants. Nicholas Atkins didn't expect to wake up naked in the glowing woods. What he did expect was waking up to a hangover after last night's party- fortunately, that wasn't the case. Unfortunately though, he had worse problems to take care of than a headache. At first he blamed it on the alcohol; from what he recalled in Biology, glowing flowers didn't exactly exist in the realm of reality. However he was as sober as he could be, so next he blamed the drugs, but there was a problem- he didn't have the money to do drugs in the first place. When the fairies came, things became even weirder. Talks of climbing towers, magic tricks, and dinner were all on the table. Of course, dinner was the priority, but so was getting back home. However slowly, Nico realized that he might actually want to stay in this fantasy world. After all, he's had enough listening to Professor Paul's lecture on calculus- the swords and sorceries were just an added bonus. Still, staying in this new world has its own costs- and money is but one thing on that long, long list. Updated everyday except Saturday GMT+8 (Specific time varies by around 30 minutes). Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)
