《Military Summoning System in the Medieval Apocalyptic World》Disturbance On The Horizon

The bells were ringing, as the clouds cover the bright moonlight. Several heavy footsteps fill the atmosphere as the tension rises. Multiple people were opening their doors and windows to look inside, but only to slam back the door and windows close tight as they see the soldiers heading for the walls. Several what seemed like soldiers donning heavy armor are headed for the walls. The confused and worried expression of the soldiers fill the atmosphere as they line up at the wall. Then at the next second a soldier donning a bright gold armor came forward.
“I want a situation report!” said the man
Then another soldier came forward
“Sir! The scouts have come back and have reported large movement of walkers and there’s a sighting of large-scale fire magic from miles away. There’s also a sighting of various streaks of lights coming from a far. We rang the bell as to alert the people of a large movement of the walker.” The soldier said.
As soon as the person who was donning gold armor heard that, a chill ran down his spine.
‘What could attract that much walkers?” the person thought to himself
“Soldier! Rally the citizen soldiers, and put the entire stronghold on alert!”
“Yes, sir!”
The person, or to say the commander, then stood atop of the wall and observed the surroundings. The town was now rowdy, as the silent marching of the citizen soldiers can be heard everywhere. The bright moonlight illuminates the surroundings as the smoky smell of the candles of the night permeates through the air.
The commander then looked through the forest and saw a couple of lights blinking far away from the stronghold. It could be even said that it is reflecting on the horizon. That’s why they can see it clearly even though it is very far away. The ground was shaking as the trees slightly bounce up and down, to which many leaves fell through the ground. Various intensity of light breakthrough the sky as the smoky smell of the atmosphere enters through the lungs.

It flabbergasted the commander what was happening; he thought that the battle over there must be very intense, as the use of magic is very frequent, though one might think just how they attracted that much walkers. The commander then looked back through the town inside the stronghold and saw that the atmosphere was very intense.
The town looked like a ghost town as the citizen soldiers were on guard on the walls and is preparing for the worst. The doors were tight shut and so as the windows, through the main street no life can be seen as everybody is cowering in fear inside their homes, all it takes is a breakthrough and mass panic will ensue.
The commander sighed, the role of being a commander really is tough, not only that he was sent into the border of the kingdom, and so there must be really large number of walkers in the border even though every stronghold even the main kingdom itself is surrounded by walkers and sometimes the supply route can be cut off from time to time.
The commander then heard a person coming in towards him and when he looked, he saw the soldier that he ordered earlier to mobilize the citizen soldiers. The soldier was dashing relentlessly and when he was about to hit the commander he immediately stopped and saw the dust behind him smashed on his back to which pushed him a little, but that didn’t matter as he was about to give a report.
“Reporting, sir!” the soldier said.
“Status Report!” the commander replied.
“Sir! We have mobilized the reserves together with citizen soldiers!” the soldier said.
“Good! You may now return to your post,” the commander replied.
The commander then sighed again and looked back towards the horizon. Various streaks of light still glitters through the horizon and the major movement of the walkers was getting more and more noticeable. Then the commander almost forgot, but he called a soldier again. This time he told them to alert the king of what’s happening at the border. So that in case of things going south, they will have reinforcements.

‘Reinforcements must come, as we won’t be able to hold off this much walkers in the first place, and also because we are not in a state of war, so the forces here were the garrison, the reserved, and the citizen soldiers who were citizens so they had have little proper training.’
All around the town, they can hear various sounds of marching as the citizen soldiers are now roaming the streets. It looked like they now have set up a proper schedule, so the town didn’t look like much of a ghost town now. The windows were now open and the there are now people peeking on the outside as they now feel safe because of the soldiers roaming the streets. The alertness of the stronghold is now at an all-time high.
The commander looked through everywhere to confirm that everything was ok, to which he then started marching towards his office at the top of the wall. At the office the commander sat and drank some coffee, and looked through the window, trying to ease his worries about the walkers invading or trespassing towards the border.
The night was silent as the tacky smell of the town permeates through the surroundings. The sky was starry as the moonlight illuminates the streets and into the homes of the citizens onto the pebbles on the streets. The silent marching of the soldiers filled the town as the damp forest became even more icy cold.
Everybody is waiting for the next thing to come, because the bell has been ranged and so something major is about to happen, and everyone is now at an all times worried. The world rotates as the people’s breath; the world is still functioning properly but a disturbance is on the horizon.

Mar will find that fate had something more than a life confined to the library planned for him after all. Authors Notes: I consider this to be a comming-of-age Sword and Sorcery story based mostly on the style of classic western fantasies. So if that's your thing then I encourage you to take a peek. Something I want to mention though is that the main character starts of pretty wimpy, and that might not be your thing. That being said, if you stick with him he's got a long way to grow. Also, while this version of the story is meant to be fully readable, more dicerning readers may want to wait until I move out of rough draft phase. There may be some inconsistancies with character and plot while I am still in the rough draft phase. I'm sorry for this, but this is my first web novel and from what I've read the best way to get a good novel out is to write write write, and then edit ruthlessly after you're finished with the book, so that's the plan I'm going to follow. Again, this is a rough draft. Everything you are reading is subject to change, including the name, title, and cover photo. This may no longer be the case once I've decided I know where this fiction is going and I have a reasonable understanding of the characters and their behavior. You're reading what comes off my keyboard as it's made, with very limited editing. There will be mistakes in the text. I do a quick spell check to take out the worst of the errors, but there will be some I miss. You can point them out in the comments if they are particularly confusing or glaring and I will try to fix them, however I am not overly concerned about minor errors as this is not the final draft by any means.

Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by.These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.
