《Yowai - Season 1》Chapter 2 - Nightmare

Yowai wook up from his nightmare. His eyes changed, things flew all around him. The sheets, his clothes, the things under his bed, everything. It seemed as if he was possessed by something.
`Ah? What is this feeling? I can barely see what's going on...` He thought to himself. His mind was getting blurry.
"Yowai? What's wrong? What is that noise?" his confused mom yelled from downstairs, after she and his father woke up from the sounds.
Yowai didn't answer. His whole room had stuff hanging around in the air like they were being controlled by some kind of force.
Yowai's parents ran up, they heard things being smashed in his room but Yowai stayed quiet. "What is it Yowai? Snap out of it!" his mother said to him while rushing into the room.
All the things that flew in his room fell down. Yowai went back to normal. His eyes were full of tears and he looked confused. He couldn't look back at his mother.
"I saw them, my mom and dad. That day..." he thought. His mind was scrambled, and he was having some hard time trying to relax.
"What happened? Did you have a nightmare?" his father asked, looking around the room with all the mess.
"Ah, I..." Yowai could barely even talk. His parents kept looking around the room, then his mother asked "Are you okay? What is all that mess?"
"I don't know... Maybe it's the wind..." he replied while trying to figure out what happened to the stuff in his room.
"Do you want a glass of water? You seem shocked. What did you dream about?" The worried mother said. "Nothing. I can barely even remember now." Yowai responded, he finally started to calm down. "Can I get that glass of water?"

"Darling, can you go get him some water?" His mother asked his father in a chill way, so everything will get calm.
"Sure! Just a minute." The father responded, and he walked out quickly from the room to the kitchen.
On his way down, Yowai's father saw lights flying around the neighborhood, and wondered "What are those things outside? They are all over the sky!"
He was stuck looking at them for a long moment.
"Honey, where is the water?" Yowai's mom yelled to his dad from upstairs as he took too much time for it. "Oh, right," he got focused again. "I'm on it!" he yelled back.
Yowai sat on his bed. His face was blank. He thought about the nightmare he just had. "It felt so real! Mom... Dad... Is this really what happened?"
"There you go. Are you alright?" His father asked while giving him the glass of water. "Thanks, I think I am," Yowai answered. He has now calmed down. "I believe you guys can leave now." He sais then took a sip of the water.
"Are you sure that you don't need anything else?" the mother asked.
"Yeah, have a good night," Yowai replied.
"Okay, but if you need anything, just tell us. Good night," his mother said, while she and his father left the room.
`I better go back to sleep now,` Yowai thought. `I hope I won't have this nightmare again. What was that though? I never felt like this before. Maybe the feeling that I had all day has something to do with it?`
`Well, no use thinking about it now. I really need to sleep."
With that thought, Yowai went back to sleep.

"I feel different. Reminds me of what happened at night," Yowai woke up slowly thinking that. He didn't have another nightmare. He took his bag and went downstairs to get ready for school.
"Good morning! How do you feel?" Yowai's mom asked as soon as she saw him. She was making breakfast.
"I'm okay," he replied. "Did you hear anything about the wind that made the mess in the room?" Yowai then asked. "No... It seems as if there was just a burst of it," his mother said. She was still confused about it herself. "But as long as you're okay, nothing else is important."
"Mhm," he answered back. "I better go get dressed, though."
His mother then followed up saying "Do it quick and come to eat so you don't miss the bus."
"Okay," Yowai responded while going to get dressed for school.
After Yowai dressed, he thought about what happened at night. `How is it possible that all these things were just floating around? Even the closet..." He finished getting fixed up and thought `Let's go eat breakfast.`
While eating, his mother tried to ask about the event at night. "Do you seriously not remember what your dream was about? It seemed like you were really shocked."
"No. I just remember it was horrible," he answered, then thought "I do remember it, but how can I say it out loud? It's too much."
"I see. Well, if you don't feel well at school today, just call me and I'll be right there," she replied.
"It's okay. It's the last day of the school year, I don't want to screw it up." Yowai seemed happy yet upset about the year-end.
"Alright, but don't hesitate if you need something."
"I won't." He answered and kept eating.
A few minutes later, he finished eating and said "Okay, I'll go now. The bus is almost here."
Yowai took all his stuff and headed to the main door. "Have fun!" the mother said. She then suddenly got reminded of something. "Wait! I forgot. Me and your dad are coming to school today to talk to the principal about your next year."
"Ah. Since when do you know about it?" Yowai seemed unhappy about it, he didn't like the idea of his parents coming to his school.
"Your school called all the parents yesterday when you were already asleep, and asked them to come," his mother responded.
"I see... Well, I hope he won't say any bad things," He replied, having a bit of a sour face. "Goodbye now, I got to go," he said then left. "Bye," she answered and went back to her business.
Yowai came out and waited for the bus. When it arrived, he went in and sat on his regular seat, alone. They got to school about fifteen minutes later, and Yowai noticed something different about some of the students in his school.
He felt a weird thing in their presence. `Well, that's strange. It feels unusual when I'm around these peeps,` he thought, looking really confused and unfocused. `I wonder what it is. It's disturbingly annoying."
The bell then rang for the first class
"Oh, it's time."
