The man walked alongside the demon down a dirt road.
"It's getting dark, we should settle down," Gyll said.
"Alright" Mi replied blankly.
After gathering some twigs and dry grass to make the fire, the man pulled out two fruits from his bag, "You want one?" Gyll asked.
Mi looked at Gyll for a few seconds before talking, "I don't need food."
"I mean yeah, I could go a few days without food too, but it's good to enjoy some sweet food now and then!" Gyll said with a grin than tosses the fruit to Mi.
The two ate the bright orange, fruit. It resembled an orange plumb, the size of a large fist, covered in a clear membrane.
"So what are you going to do now?" Mi asked breaking the silence.
Gyll almost choked on his fruit, "What do you mean? I'm meant to spread the knowledge of divine pornos, right?" Gyll replied in a joking manner.
"That's true but, surely you need a home, a people," Mi said.
"Alright then, how about we brainstorm some ideas!" Gyll suggested.
Mi nodded, "How about we open a school!" Suggested Gyll,
"Didn't you have enough people call you a pervert without reading porn out loud to kids?" Asked Mi.
"Yeah...you're right," Gyll said.
"How about we travel the world spreading our knowledge!" Gyll suggested.
"Better, but if you stretch yourself so thin you may miss a lot of people."
Gyll went back to quiet contemplation.
Mi's face lit up, "I have an idea," Mi says suddenly pulling a book out of her sleeve, she flips the book's pages to around the middle. "To influence one's allies, one must show results, to influence enemies one must surpass them." Mi read out loud.

"What does that mean? Am I supposed to go fight a king or something?" Gyll asked,
"I have to burst your bubble, but chances are you'd not make it past the king's jester," Mi replied.
Gyll scoffed, "Than what do you mean?" he asked.
Mi stood up.
"You will build an empire!" Mi proudly announced.
Gyll stared at her with an expression saying "And the punchline is?...."
"You've got to be kidding?" Said Gyll.
"You have everything a leader needs," Mi said to encourage him.
"Like?" asked Gyll.
"The stuff a leader needs," Mi replied.
"For example?" Gyll awaited his answer.
"The needs...a..leader must have," Mi replied.
The people became quiet.
"I guess...I have the knowledge...in the form of p-" Gyll began.
"Ok, that joke got old fast, stop, they're books." Mi interrupted.
Gyll sighed, "My own empire, that sound like a pain, but maybe a small town..." Gyll wandered out loud.
"Well, just think about it, I'm going to sleep," Mi advised.
Gyll replied with a nod, and soon he went to sleep as well.

The Due
Every sailor knows the tale of Davy Jones' Locker. That place drowned sailors are sent to, ever resting on sea's bed. Some tales recount of a ghostly ship, the Flying Dutchman. Many a story has spawned from these two tales. Countless retellings mixing in their own fictions. But all stories spawn with a kernel of truth to them, and the story of Davy Jones is no exception. Those who've met the legendary seaman and his ghostly ship might call him a ferryman, escorting the drowned to their respective afterlives. Others might call him a devil, meting punishment on those deserving. The true story is always slightly different. Davy Jones is a ferryman, but not one for the afterlife, as Walter finds out. No, Davy Jones manages those who die at sea while in debt, and Walter died with a lot of debt. Unable to pay, Davy puts Walter to work. The specter has just the job for the dead college graduate. Another god, Sod, needs an afterlife for his new world. Davy tasks Walter with the job. Suddenly, Walter finds himself having to run a fledgling underworld with little instruction from Sod. To top it off, the denizens of Sod's world have their own ambitions to achieve godhood, and they won't take kindly to Sod's newest employee shaking up the status quo. [Traumatizing Content tag is up just to let everyone know this will be a story that deals with different themes of death. Some of them won't be nice and so better to be safe than sorry.]
