Everyone avoided the duo from then out, most specifically Harrian. They never saw Harrien, Pyrrha or Aqua during fights. Cordelie was worried about what happened to them, to which Harrian responded with some simple answers.

“Pyrrha just has some physical scarring, Aqua’s skin is just dry and hard like the earth, won’t see it after a month, and Harrien, if he used any sort of [Healing magic], is on the same boat as the both of them,” Harrian replied.

“But you pretty much killed their souls, they are adventurers, what are they going to do?” She asked Harrian.

“Isn’t it obvious, they’ll retire and settle down somewhere,”

“But how will they support themselves!”

“Gold wasn’t always a [Merchant]! He was once an adventurer, then he met me as well as a man named Noir,”

“What happened to Noir? I know it’s a bit off-topic, but what happened to him,”

Harrian was then silent for a while before he opened his mouth and said “Not sure,” before they continued walking.

After a while, another [Monster Horde] appeared, it was a massive clutter of different [Skeletal Monsters]. After defeating the [Boss] which was an [Giant Skeleton], the group stopped for another break.

Cordelie left Harrian and decided to befriend some other [Mages] and he was left alone, eating a [Slimeball] resting on a wall. After he and Rache finished their meal, they decided to go deeper into the [Dungeon] going through the cave.

A lot of people were exploring what was ahead, and after a while of walking, Harrian hit a steep slope and looked down. He tried to look down, but it was just a dark mess, Harrian asked Rache if she could see anything, but she just shook her head.

Bored, Harrian cast [Blazeball] and threw it deeper into the cave. The slope went down until he couldn’t see the [Blazeball] anymore. After seeing that, Harrian turned around to meet back up with Cordelie.

As Harrian walked back to the expedition, they were beginning to get up. He saw Cordelie seeming to say goodbye to some female [Mages] and she began to walk with Harrian to the expedition.

After a bit more walking and massacring more [Monsters], Harrian got something he had not seen in a while.

[Your [Title] [Goblin Slayer] has become [Homunculi Slayer]

Harrian just stood there confused, until he remembered the [Dark Hobgoblin Leader], how he got Dropley and his group still had Kaloko. Afterwards remembering how he got it, Harrian decided to ask how he got it, or what it did.

Harrian decided to press on the [Homunculi Monsters] and another [Status Board] came up.

‘So I do more damage towards [Human-like Monsters], that it's handy to have, especially with that [Goblin Monster] that the girl warned me about, but is it even here?’

The expedition stopped again, feeling as though the [Monster Hordes] had become stronger, they were stopping more and more often. After another [Monster Horde], and it was finally time for the expedition to sleep.

Harrian took the first watch, walking around the area where everyone was sleeping, with Rache creating a massive spiders web to avoid any [Monsters] from attacking the group in their sleep. After a while, people came up to Harrian and began to talk with him.

After the fight with Harrien, people believed that he was like that all the time, inflicting pain and doing anything to win, but after talking they thought that Harrian was a nice person. Unlike everyone else, Harrian decided to pull an all-nighter and keep watch for everyone.

After fusing with Dropley, Harrians needs have become few, and one of those needs is sleep. He can go with an hour of sleep per day easily, another thing a lot of [Monsters] can do. During his guard watch, Harrian gained another [Skill].

[Insomnia], a [Passive Skill] which is a double-edged sword. Harrian suffers less to sleep deprivation, but he has trouble falling asleep. Knowing his other [Skills] the one he just got will change sooner or later.

After everyone got up, Harrian decided to have a small nap, only for about fifteen minutes when everyone was getting ready, and during that, he had another sort of nightmare. He was in the [Dungeon], everyone was getting ready, his dream cut to the string where Rache prepared and was busy eating up so that the expedition would move on.

His mind went deeper into the cave and saw something. A mountain, filled with up to thousands of different creatures, not just one. [Zombies], [Ghouls] and [Goblins], as well with many others, Harrian kept climbing the mountain of [Monsters] and there he saw it.

A large being was on top of a mountain, it’s body was large and grey. The being was well built, having spikes coming out of all places. Its shoulders were deformed, looked as though its shoulder had swelled, it had horns coming out of each shoulder, but looking down, it was even less humanoid.

Its feet were like that of a velociraptor, but it was smaller and it had a tail which had a spearhead on it. Its wings were as big as the [Monster] itself, and finally, it was covered in a hood, masking its face, but Harrian could see something. Two glowing grey eyes, and what seemed to be a mask that reached out of its coat.

The [Monster] caught sight of Harrian and leapt at him, making the ground shake and put everything into silence. During those moments, Harrian woke up screaming, now seeing that everyone was almost packed.

Cordelie was holding out her hand, and Harrian took it before running to the front of the expedition. He cast [Burnball] and with all his strength, threw it deeper into the cave. He then used [Black Magic] on the [Burnball], making it kindle after it hit the ground, and when it did, there he saw it.

Beings of many shapes and sizes were cloaked in darkness. Seeing this Harrian panicked, so he positioned his right arm which his left hand was grasping and began to cast a [Spell].

“[Ancient Magic: Black Magic: Boulder Magic: Speleothems of Sentence]!” Harrian’s body then began to leak blood, but when that was happening, it happened.

Stalactites and stalagmites came bursting out of the ground from Harrian, coming out of every inch of the cave, going further in. After a while, everyone was silenced, and that is when it happened. Blood-curdling screams of different [Monsters] echoed throughout the cave.

People heard it and the expedition began to form into two groups. One was fearful and the other’s were not, not moving from when they heard the screams. After they stopped and Harrian drank a green glowing potion, when he was getting up, something else happened.

Liquid, the liquid began to go around the pillars of rock, all in different colours, some adventurers now even throwing up, but still, Harrian stood there, looking at it. Some of the group began to ask the leaders of the expedition what to do, but they did nothing, just standing there, motionless.

Harrian noticed this, so he began to spout orders.

“I might not be working here, but people! Start making this cave larger and people with high [Enchantment Magic], start casting [Areas of effect], there's more than one type of [Monster] all most likely [Humanoid]!” Harrian yelled.

People began to do what Harrian wanted, they began to expand the walls using their [Boulder Affinity] and people began to cast their [Spells] many of them fainting due to fatigue. The people at the front of the expedition began to hear scratches and walls being bulldozed through.

They then saw cracks in the wall and all of them backed away, all except Harrian who stepped forward. He then put his right hand in the tophat and pulled out a new and improved [Chaos Column].

It was larger and looked even more unique than it did last. Its handle on the blade had disappeared and was replaced by a bigger and blacker scythe, with small patterns engraved into it. The [Orb] was now visible and dark blue, it was protected from all sides, being stuck to four separate lines, making it look like an unlit lantern.

On the other side, however, [Chaos Column] had grown a spearhead on its other side, and it had a small dagger-like weapon curving away from the spearhead, like a small scythe on the other side. Another thing [Chaos Column] grew is that another blade came from the other side of the orb, making it now a [Battle Scythe] one of the harder weapons to master.

Finally, [Monster] limbs appeared and then, a mass amount of them ran towards the expedition. Harrian smiled, jumping on [Chaos Column] and ripping out a [Monsters] throat, propelling himself in the air.

A [Monster] tried to grab at him, but Harrian simply landed on its hand before slicing it in two. Everyone watching this, gained a sense of hope and began to attack as well, some of them even attacking the [Monsters] directly with a blade-like Harrian.

Sooner or later, the expedition was beginning to get overwhelmed again, even Harrian began to run out of steam. It wasn’t long until someone at the back of the expedition smiled, taking something out of his pouch and running to the front of the expedition.

Harrien leapt to the front of the monsters and had something that looked like multiple grenades, all locked onto one string. He then pulled the string and threw it into the horde of [Monsters] watching a massive chunk of them blow up, causing the cave to rumble.

Harrien then pulled out a sword that had a [Magic Orb] as it’s hilt and began to run at the monster. Before long, a large [Ogre] picked Harrien up with ease and looked at him before begging to leave, making even more [Monsters] appear behind it.

As Harrien’s screams grew louder and louder the farther he went away, Harrian sighed and looked back at everyone.

“Everyone, give me all your [Lightning Affinity] attacks! Directed at me now!”

There was a stutter, but then everyone did do it, making small bolts of electricity whiz to Harrian, which he absorbed. After a while, Harrians skin began to buzz and his skin became static before the veins began to show and turn a fluorescent yellow.

Harrian smiled and told Rache something, which she then nodded. Rache then made a very quick slingshot, with Harrian as the ammunition. Harrian then launched himself above the [Monster Horde] and caught sight of Harrien.

He then jumped back onto [Chaos Column] and sliced the [Ogre], seeing that not another [Monster] was there, Harrien now paralyzed with fear and Harrian still brewing with [Lightning Magic]. He looked towards the horde of [Monsters], positioned [Chaos Column] and then said the magic words.

“[Rebound]” A large blast of pure plasma then erupted from the [Magic Orb] at the end of Harrians weapon and blasted through the [Monster] horde, leaving a massive hole in many of their bodies.

The [Monsters] didn’t notice that two people were behind them, so Harrian took that opportunity. He began to slice the [Monsters] in half, moving forward, it happened for a few moments and then, he met back with the expedition.

Everyone celebrated, but Harrian calmed them down and then asked them a question.

“Where is the [Boss]?” The expedition began to mutter, the [Boss] would say to them that the horde of [Monsters] would be over. Before long, Harrien began to run frantically back to the group screaming until he was absorbed by the mass amount of [Mages].

Harrian looked back and then saw what Harrien was screaming about.

A massive [Monster] then appeared its body was large and grey, having spiked coming out of many places. Its shoulders were deformed, looking as though they had been stung by a bee, it had four horns coming out of each shoulder.

Its feet were like that of a velociraptor, but it was smaller and it had a tail which had a spearhead on it. Its wings were as big as the [Monster] itself, and finally, it was covered in a hood, masking its face, but Harrian could see something. Two glowing grey eyes, and what seemed to be a mask that reached out of its coat.

Looking closer, this was the [Monster] of Harrians quick nightmare as well as the girl's warning. The being wasn’t a [Goblin], [Hobgoblin] or even an [Cyclops] it was something much worse. An [Alpha Gargoyle] was standing in front of Harrian and was looking straight at him.
