It was a dark and cold night in the hang clan, every member of the clan were sleeping or getting done some business on the bed.

The night seemed as normal as any other dark night to everybody else, except that our protagonist was being chased by his clan mates.

POV Change "Why are you guys chasing me." "You should ask that from your parents not us" said a man in the dark.

I could not see anything from this man except his bald head that was shining light from the full moon that was standing tall in the night above.

As I heard the word from this bald dude my heart started to bleed from the pain, I was feeling for the words that I just heard from his mouth.

I was thinking that it was fine that they had abandoned me from the day I was born till now, but my heart started to bleed to hear that they even sent people to kill me even though that they have never seen me since I was born. As if the bald guy noticed that I just had emotional shock, he jumped toward me

From the branch of the tree as it shattered to pieces and pounced towards me with his sharp and silver dagger as it reflected the light from the moon, while he was holding it in his hands.

The dagger got closer and closer to me, I used every ounce of strength in my leg to get away from the dagger in his hands shining brightly in the dark.

To no avail, his strength, speed was superior to mine as he reached me and stabbed my chest with the dagger.

I could hear the sound of the dagger penetrating my flesh and rib until it reached my heart

I closed my eyes as I wasn't used to seeing the gruesome blood that was coming out of my chest when he took out the dagger out of my heart and chest.

I prepared myself to see god any pay my debt in this world before I die.

The only thing I could think about was for God to forgive me and send me to heaven, so that I could at least have a better life after I die and not go to hell and burn for who knows how long.

Before anything else could happen to me, I heard a voice in my brain,

"Ding" "bending with his soul please be prepared".

"WTF, even before dying, I'm hearing this shit and it's not even something like Rest In Piece" I was feeling even more depressed from what I heard just now than me dying at the moment . I thought that even at the end of my life, my soul would at least will be better, but to my F*UCKING surprise, my soul is being possessed by another being. I sighed to myself and said "Guess even when I die I will be still be chased by my good luck of having the worst luck in the universe". Time stopped as I was ready to die, but even when I closed my eyes, I could see this number going up.

97% 98% 99% 100%.

"Ding", "You have unlocked THE UPGRADE SYSTEM 1.0"

I heard the voice the same voice that said that it was going to take over my soul, saying something about some upgrade system.

Then suddenly I heard the same voice again "I'm not trying to take over your soul or your body, I'm just here to help you lead a better life in this world".

I was shocked the moment I heard what the voice said.

Then I started to think for a moment and asked about the question before I heard the voice again "I knew what you were thinking because I'm bonded to your soul and know what your thinking, just like now"

I was startled by what the person said and nearly rebuked it before I realised that it answered what I exactly was thinking about.

I started to ponder about what this thing was and as exactly happened few moments it said the answer to my question.

" As I said I'm Upgrade System 1.0"

Before it could answer my next question I asked it "what do you do then " "As my title says I upgrade stuff"

I started to throw questions at this thing left.

"Why are you here and where is this place" "This is your soul and I'm here to help you".

"Why would you help me" "Cause god sent me so".

"Why would God send you to help me" " cause, you asked for forgiveness before you died and god give you me". "Why would he do it when I'm literally dying right now"

"Who said that your dying, right now your being reincarnated to a new body to save you'r soul". "So, are you saying that I'm gonna be able to live again".

"Yes, you will be able to live again by my help". "Why would he do it when I'm literally dying right now" "Who said that you're dying, right now your being reincarnated into a new body to save your soul".

"So, are you saying that I'm going to be able to live again".

"Yes, you will be able to live again by my help".

As I heard the confirmation of me being able to live another day, my heart started to be filled with lots of different emotions, the one that stood up to me was the thirst for revenge for the family that abandoned me to live with nothing except by a person taking care of me for 3 years until I was able to walk and a sect that bullied me until I was beaten to death. I started to notice that a killing intent was forming around me that shined with violet red colour similar blood and a grey colour of death and I also noticed that my mind could think clearer now than it ever.

As my killing intent went up I heard the systems voice, "Ding, congratulations for creating a new skill" "You have been rewarded 10 upgrade cards for creating a new skill" "Since the skill is original you can chose one of the following effect" "Complete suppression on people lower than your cultivation" "Debuff enemy's stats by 5%,can be affected as you upgrade the skill" "Can make you fly" "Neglect any kind of attack by 10%, can be improved as the skill is upgraded" "Please, select one of these effects".

Before even thinking I chided the one that said that I could neglect 10% damage, this was the best option their and the second one was a debuff by 5% but the effect I chased was basically the same but doubled.

I suddenly remembered that I was meant to be reincarnated, but nothing was happening for a couple of minutes.

"Hey! System why am I not being reincarnated" "You have to wait for a couple of minutes before you could be reincarnated"

I heard the system and started to think about what I could do when I reincarnated except going after revenge.

I thought about many things that I could do in my new life. The first one being to join a proper sect that could look after and have a better a family than what I had in this life.

As I was thinking about the best thing that I could have and enjoy in my new life, my sight slowly changed from this white place turning into a dark and lonely colour.
