《The Upgrade System》[Berserk Mode]

(Author's Note: I'm doing another time skip so that I could make the character strong enough for the sect to pick him as a member)
10 days later
"Ding, you have ranked up"
Today I stepped on 3rd sub stage on muscle refinement stage, the moment I stepped on this stage my power and everything in my body felt lighter and I felt like I could kill a normal rank 1 with punch and rank 2 with 10 slashes with my sword. As the days went, in this 10 days my killing speed became faster and I got used to fighting this dumb beast and could kill them on instinct and didn't have to fight them that much, most rank 2 monster would take 2 minutes for me to finish while rank 1 would probably take me a second to finish it.
I also earned 102 upgrade by killing 1200 rank 1 monster and 800 rank 2 monsters.
"Statues open" I said in my mind,
Host Name: EricAge:19Cultivation:3rd sub stage of muscle stage
Bloodline: ???: Common 0/2
Appearance: rare 0/8
Equipment: sword: uncommon 0/8
Physique: common 0/2
Innate talent: rare 0/24
Skill: blood, death aura: super rare 0/75
Tamed beast: none
Temporary
Hidden function: low 0/100
I looked at the stats in my stats section and I noticed the that the hidden function had a different ranking system. I asked the system" why is the grade in the hidden function differently?" " cause, it was created by me it has different grades and function". Then I said "what does it do when I upgrade it", "It will help you improve faster somehow". I look at the cost of the upgrade for the hidden function and see that it's a 100 upgrade card. I hesitate at first between upgrading my innate talent or the hidden function, but I knew that I had a better chance of levelling up faster from hidden function.

I upgraded the hidden function to hear the same voice again, "Special effect has gained from upgrading the hidden function, Now you can store as much as I you want in your daunting as you want and the time for hidden function being removed is restarted". I was very happy that now I could store more Qi, cause I have already filled enough Qi to break through to strength, refinement stage but didn't have enough time to refine the Qi. I picked my sword from the side of the wall and said goodbye to Lucy and started my journey towards the forest again.
I reached the spot I usually hunt in 30 minutes almost 4 times faster than last time. I took out my sword and spread my I sense which was enchanted by the system to 2 km and started to look for any rank 2 monster in this area. I found 178 rank 2 monsters, which was more than 3 times what I usually see in this area. I started my killing spree again and killed every monster with 1 slash and finished my job for the day and earned 19 upgrade card, which added to the two that I had from the last time it equals 21.
(Took almost 2 hours to finish killing them)
Before I decided to anything I noticed that I haven't gained any Qi from this guy. I sent senses in my dantain to only see it being stacked at the muscle refinement stage. I was trying to solve this problem, but I couldn't so I asked the system "Why am I not gaining any Qi from this beast" "You don't get Qi from lower stages to fill up the higher stages, you have to kill pests on strength refinement stage to get Qi". I was very disappointed from hearing that and depressed cause I just wasted 100 upgrade card to gain the effect where I could store as much as Qi I wanted, but now I learn that I have to kill strength, refinement stage beasts to get Qi to fill the next stage.

Fu*k I can't even defeat stage 4 muscle strength, refinement stage beasts and now I have to kill strength refinement stage beasts. Letting the sorrow dig through my heart, I felt the pain ripping my heart apart and wanted to cry my eyes out right now. I was lifeless for who knows how long before I started to move. I can't stop this pain from going away, from my heart, it's the same feeling as learning you just lost something important in your life.
I'll just locate every monster in 2 km and kill them to release my frustration. I scanned the area and looked for the closest monster to me. I located the first one on my right, I dashed towards it with great speed and strength and stabbed the sword through its heart and cut it's ribs as I took the sword out of his chest.7 hours later After killing who knows how many monsters, I still didn't feel my frustration going away. Seems like I won't be able to forget this feeling of being scammed for a while, I thought to myself. I started to think about how many monsters I killed and I did kill hella lot in this 7 hours. I asked the system "How many monsters did I kill today" "1500" "WHAT THE, that's almost the same amount of how much I killed in 10 days".
Ding
=you have created a new skill [Berserk Mode] multiplies your power by 2, Duration:10 minutes (Cannot improve the multiplier, but can improve the duration as long as you level it up) = The duration we'll be longer when you are filled with rage.
Ding = you have earned 10 upgrade points for creating an original skill "Yes yes yes yes yes yessssss, finally something good happened to me"
The frustration went away from my heart and was replaced with a joyful
Now at least I have another thing that could help me in fights against stronger people.
I calm myself and see this lion looking beast lying down on the ground sleeping, I arrogantly walk toward him and lift my sword up slash down towards its head. The sword hits the lions and shatters to pieces.Seeing this I was shocked at what happen, I said to system "what's its cultivation state" "Half step strength refinement stage "

My Life is Not a Manga, or maybe...
Xavier had a happy, humdrum life: normal friendships, a normal girlfriend, a somewhat oddball family. Until, that is, he literally stumbled through the fourth wall and discovered he was the protagonist of a manga. Now he's scrambling to maintain any semblance of control over his own life in the face of something he never imagined he would need to contend with: the power of the Genre. Hello, E.O. Tenkey here; thank you for your interest in "Not A Manga"! This was my first serial novel, and I hope you enjoy Xavier's predicament! Familiarity with manga not required (though it can't hurt)! I look forward to exploring the bounds of the Genre with you. (First volume is rated PG-13 for comic mayhem and light profanity—these are high school students, after all. Second volume is rated PG-13 to R for some violence and similar levels of profanity. Tags may or may not contain spoilers.)

An Unwavering Craftsman
Given the hereditary nature of classes, everyone expects Damien—the child of two high-tiered adventurers—to be granted a high-tier combat class of his own. Expectations are betrayed, however, when Damien finds himself instead saddled with a crafting class of the lowest possible tier: [Neophyte Tailor]. Left practically crippled compared to those with better classes, Damien wants to avoid becoming a pawn in the machinations of the nobility, desiring only to grind his level in peace while wondering why the usual rules of inheritance were broken. Was it his desire to excel by his own effort, rather than an unearned blessing from a god? Did the Five take offence at his opinions on the unfairness of hereditary classes? Or maybe it was something to do with the alien voice that intruded on his ceremony? A voice that offers great power, and freedom from the tyranny of the Five, but that never names its price. This story is litRPG-lite. While the class someone possesses controls most of their lives, people don't get dinged at for every level they gain, nor can they see their status without undergoing a special ritual. The MC has no romantic interest. Crafting is merely a way to game the system, and doesn't feature heavily in the story, aside from a few descriptions on how they're carrying out the system abuse. There is, on one unfortunate occasion, maths. The pace is quick. This was a participant in the Spring 2022 writathon. (i.e. it was posted as-written at high speed. I may give it another editing pass in the future.)
