The next day we all met at the end of the bridge that connected the sandbar to the mainland. We all had armed ourselves with crossbows.

We were going on the hunt. Today would be the day that we had conquered some of the mainland. With that we had our tracker walk in front of us and look for our prey. We needed to find footpprinrts and bear droppings. Our tracker was the best one in the outpost so I had faith that we would find the bear. He lead us directly into the forest and we searched around everyone was keeping a eye out and staying together considering how dangerous this was.

We wandered around for what seemed like a hour before the tracker found a foot print. We followed in the directions of the footprint. We kept going in that direction until the footprints became more frequent. Eventually there was a clear path of footprints. We followed them until we thought we were getting very close. Our plan was to encircle the bear and fire arrows at it until it collapsed.

We were all walking as silently as possible because the tracker said we should run into it at any time. "There it is". the tracker said.

When I looked I saw it. It was a bear that was twice as large as a full grown bear. It was huge and had unique red stripes on it and it was brown all over.

The tracker said for all of us to shoot it at the same time. He raised his crossbow and we all raised ours and on the count of three we all pulled the trigger.

Most of the arrows struck there mark. The bear turned and charged at us the arrows weren't enough to take it down. It might have been wounded severely. But the charge was still extremely fast. The sheildbeaarers stood in front while the mages tried to shoot the bear down before it reached us. But it was all in vain the sheer weight of the bear crashed into the shield bearers and sent them flying. The bear struck out furiously with its paw. Grand elder struck out with his sword to catch the paw so it couldn't hurt anyone. His blade cutt the paw in half the bear furious with him knocked him over and was about to bite his head off when its head was removed from its body by Clara

The head rolled away from the body and everyone cheered. This was our victory. The swords I mad had a major effect on the outcome. I was so glad I had made my expedition to the farthest outpost or grand elder would be dead. The bears hide was that hard to cut through.

With that I offered to carry the bear back to the island. Evreyone agreed so I sucked it into my void bag and we were off. We all had a skip in our step as we made our way back to the outpost. Grand elder gave me a hug for the first time ever as we were about to go our separate ways.

I was ordered to take the bear carcass to the government building and drop it off. So that's what I did. After that I made my way home to my house. I dreamed about haveing a large house and a courtyard that was made of something more then dirt. The next day I had to go in and sign a contract with the government to land rights. I lsid in bed thinking about my future and then I fell asleep.

THe next day when I got up clara was standing there. She had become a terrifying existence with all her abilitys and that sword I had made her. Phantom was a appropriate nickname for her . As she could become ethral like a phantom. Come with me today I asked her. "Sure but lets get breakfast first" she said to me. We walked out of my courtyard and to her house were we sat at our special table and sat down to eat we had hundred year fish for breakfest. "Im so glad no one got hurt"

"Yes I'm glad as well, you saved grand elders life by chopping of its head.".

"I never could have done that without you" . I knew that and I responded with a "your welcome".

"Im just glad everything alright and nobody got hurt".I said.

"Me to".

"We should go to the government building together to get our plots of land". I said

"Yes, my dad already picked out the plot my family wants, and I'm sure you already have the plot you want figured out.

"I do I want to build a really nice house and have a large courtyard." I said

"Lets go". I said to her. We both stood up and walked to the governmental building in the center of the island.

I held the dor for her while she walked in. 'We are here to deliver the heartbeast king carcass to the government and pick out land." I said to him

"Come with me". We were escorted to the main room in the building it was large. I pulled out my void bag and pulled out the bear.

'Evreythimg seems to be here." Could you follow me into the other room?" the assistant asked me

"Yes we could". With that we walked into another room where there was a large map on the table.

The map had the knew wall on it. Clara went first and picked out the land she wanted. It was a large plot she was allowed to have it because she helped out so much in the reclaiming of the forest. I picked out a lot that was large and right next to claras. I was able to pick out a large lot because I had been part of the team.

With our lots picked out the government gave us deeds.
