《The Putrid Assassin (Complete)》Chapter #22

"I don't intend to fight them noona, I want to poison them and then flee the city. What would I need training for?" I asked
Lexie replied "you think that the city guards will just sit by and watch after you murder an entire faction within the city. They rely on these large families for the well being of the city. That's why when you were captured by them nobody came to save you. Also, that faction could have allied itself with other factions so you must escape them too."
I paused picking herbs for a second and thought. I had never really got far enough in my plan for an escape. I think deep down I was fine with going out in a blaze of glory and taking the entire faction with me.
Lexie seemed to have read my thoughts as she spoke "I won't forgive you if you die dax"
"You want me to come back that bad?" I asked
"Yes," she said extremely quietly while gripping her robe.
I knew what she was implying but the only problem was those eyes of hers. I would simply go mad if I had to stare at them for longer then a minute. I glanced over at her and saw her bend down to pick a black flower. The way her pearly white neck dipped into her flowery breast, and then with a slight curve off her waist, her ass protruded just enough to produce a little bounce when she walked.
I could just put a paper bag over her head whenever we made love I thought to myself. It's not the chivalrous thing too do, but what did I know about that I was born in the slums and grew up eating garbage. If I wanted to put a bag on her head who was going to stop me? Another problem for another day I thought.

"So what will be this personal training noona?" I asked
"You're already quite skilled at what we are going to do. But I think we should take that up to the next level." Lexie said
"What are we gonna train in?" I asked
"Running away basically" she said
Makes sense it would be useful to be a bit faster I thought to myself.
"Fine but you must make the poison for me first." I agreed
"The poison vine is over there." She said as she pointed to the biggest spectator box in the arena.
I climbed over the arena wall and jogged up the stairs. The vine was growing from the inside of the box up and on the outside wall.
I needed to get to the base of the vine if I wanted to harvest it properly. So i pulled myself over and into the spectator box. As soon as I was in my eyes flicked to the floor because on it was a strange circle with tunes carved into it.
"Noona come quickly I found something," I yelled out
With a bang, she leaped up and landed inside the box.
"That's not a trap that will explode if I move right? I asked
"No it seems to be some sort of transport formation" she replied
"Okay well I'm going to harvest the vine then," I said as I walked over and picked up the vine. After I clipped it I put it into my backpack and turned around.
Noona was examining the rune circle.
"You're in luck dax this seems to be a transportation formation. If you insert quix into it you should be able to be transported anywhere." She said
"Its probably because this is the box were the rules of the arena used to sit," I said

She was on her knees examining the formation when she tilted her head up and looked at me.
"We need to complete your personal training before you go," she said
The situation felt odd, what kind of training was she thinking of?
"Alright I'm down," I said
"Let's go then," she said as she stood up and walked past me.
I followed her down into the arena. She stripped down to just her top and a pair of jeans it gave off a unique charm.
"Catch," she said as she threw me her wooden walking staff
"Why a staff," I asked
"It's the best tool for running away obviously. Watch this" Lexi said
She sprinted towards me but slammed the staff into the ground and with a contortion of her body, she went flying to the right.
"If you learn this technique you can change directions at any time," she said as sweat ran down her cheek
