Chapter #25
I was in a well, it was all going according to plan, I knew that the rich factions in the family all had automatic water that was pumped to all areas of there family. It was just me alone in the well there for hours I had to wait until night to make any moves. Even though I had a virtual super poison it would be useless if I was caught ahead of time. Eventually, the halo of light and constant commotion had dies downed. It had become night now the odds were in my favor. The plan that I had come up was a huge gamble but if I pulled it off everyone in the faction that drank the water would be paralyzed. The thing is what if there were guards that carried there own water, Oh well this was a better opportunity then I could ever hope for I thought to myself. Plus they would never except an orphaned child to be waiting in the shadows to strike. I grasped the vial in my hand and clambered out of the water and braced myself up against either of the sidewalls of the well. Now effectively dangling above the water I dumped the entire vial of poison into the water. Noona had told me that the poison would take 12 hours to come into effect so if I lost my strength and fell into the water I would die it was a contest of will could I live in the dark murky state of existence that the atmosphere in the well presented.
After what seemed like an infinite amount of time an entire day passed and I was still dangling above the abyss. It had become night again and the single luckiest opportunity of my life had arrived and I wasn't swilling to waste it. With a push and a shove, I inched up the side of the well like a caterpillar until I could reach up. My hand grasped the side of the well and I pulled my just my head up and peaked out. I was instantly astounded by just the sheer magnificence of the courtyard that an astounding sum of resources had been accumulated here I thought to myself. Too bad all that they accumulated won't save them from death tonight I thought with a snicker. After all, I could see the guards were passed out and slumped down in their posts in unnatural positions. Hehe, my best friend hadn't failed me the poison was effective. Blood for Blood was my creed and I lived by it. Hey had tried to take my life so naturally, I had the right to take all of theres. I walked towards the guards and pulled out a needle from my sleeve. These weren't the guards that had sent me off to die so I would grant them a painless death. There is a place where the spinal cord connects to the brain and with just the poke of a needle you can effectively sever one's life. The poison mad people lose control and they couldn’t move but they were still very much awake. So this was the most humane death I could grant them for screwing me over. Anyways enough with the thinking, it was now time to get revenge on the main culprit quickly before any unknown variables. With a skip in my step, I went to the largest building within the manor that I could find. I didn’t even hide perhaps the guards that got knocked out were super strong and that’s why there weren't that many. Whatever I felt a weird sense of void as I pushed open the door to the nobles living quarters. There were guards slumped and past out on the stairs. For some reason, I wanted to kill them so I pulled them across the ground and laid them out flat. Then I pried their eyes open I could tell that they were still peering through there eyes even though they couldn’t move them. I picked up the poleaxe one of them was carrying and lopped the first ones head off. There was a weird noise like a fountain and for some reason right before I swung I let out a little snort. That was weird I thought to myself as I walked up to the other. Even though his pupils couldn’t move I could see sparks bouncing around inside. “Unlucky” I spoke out loud before I cut off his head too. It was kind of sad that people's lives could be ended like this I thought to myself. I knew that the poison lasted all night so everyone in the castle was my prey at his point. Someone how there deaths had saddened me so to cheer myself up I pulled there headless body's to the bottom of the staircase and moved them so that they held each other in an embrace as there headless body's looked toward the door.

Then I continued up the stairs on the ground was a maid I knew it was probably one of the nobles maids so I picked ger up and threw her off the balcony. I had wasted enough time messing around and if I didn’t get serious now my timeframe would close. So, everyone I came across from that point forward I just slit there throat. Eventually, I arrived at a large door at the then end of the upstairs hallway. Upon trying to open it was clearly locked. Well fuck I hadn't planned for this although I clearly couldn’t only a mad man or a man that was tired of living wouldn’t lock his door before going to bed. I had to get through but no matter where I searched I couldn’t find any keys. Then there was only one solution I could think of I would go silence everyone in the manor and then Id set the whole place on fire and we could all go to hell together.

This is Bright Battle Academy, where champions are forged and legends begin. Dwarfs? Once they were part of the great alliance. They helped build this very academy. But they were so stubborn, so unyielding, so unwilling to bend themselves to the rules. And so they weakened, and so they declined, and so their empires faded. What few that are left shun the academy. We have no dwarfs here. Rogues? Perhaps a handful in the sprawl, hiding in the shadows, hoarding their merits, hoping to buy a promotion to something remotely useful, ninja or assassin perhaps. But in the academy proper? No. We have no rogues here. And yet despite everything here she stands. Nala Greyward, Dwarf Rogue. Pettiest of thieves. Unpleasantest of surprises. Causer of problems. So she killed an ogre. So nobody knows how she did it. So what. Throw her in with the real prospects, with the elves and the vampires and the fighters and the magic users. See how she does in that environment--see just how long it is, before the problem that is Nala Greyward solves itself. This is Bright Battle Academy. Good luck. Discord if you're into that.
