'Fire manipulation.'
In other RPG games, you usually gain skills related to the element, however, in the arcane universe, the Skill is to manipulate the element itself. The player's proficiency determines how good he is at manipulating that element and what it is possible to do with it. You are not limited to a single skill.
'Magician guild…' Aizen knew very little about magic, so he decided to visit the mage's guild. Maybe he could get some books?
'Well, let's get some new clothes before that.' His clothes were worn and dirty.

After buying new clothes, Aizen headed towards the Mages guild. His clothes were basic, just black clothes. The only new thing was a hood to hide some of his face.

A few minutes later, Aizen arrived in front of the wizards' guild building. The building wasn't quite as luxurious as the merchant's guild building, but it had a more majestic feel.
*door opening*
Aizen joined the mage guild. The inside of the guild is very similar to a library.
"Good afternoon, how can I help you?" A young clerk greeted Aizen.
"Well, do you sell books on magic?"
"Yes. Basic books are 1 silver coin. Advanced books are 1 gold coin."
'Eh…' Aizen didn't know the books would be so expensive.
"I'll take some."
Aizen went to the library and got some books. Advanced magic control, advanced fire manipulation, and mana shield. There were not many options, he was a little disappointed.
'I need to find a place with more books later.'
"I'll take these."
"OK."

Aizen paid the young man and was about to leave, but he saw something interesting.
"What book is that?" He was curious about the book that was on a shelf separate from the others.
"Where-ah! That book is a little special. It will be given to the person who manages to kill the Lizardman King."
"Lizardman King?
"A Lizardman tribe escaped hunters and moved to inhabit a dungeon that has recently emerged in the north of the city. The dungeon was occupied by lizardmans. And a lizardman King eventually emerged. This is causing problems for people, so the guild decided to give away a special book for whoever manages to kill him."
"I got it, thanks." Aizen was tempted to go in that dungeon. Players will probably figure this out shortly, so he didn't have much time.
'Well, I better prepare myself first.' He would read the books and understand a little more about magic.

"Shit! Where are these guys getting so much money?" The woman picked up her beer and took a sip. She was a little frustrated.
"They're using up all the reserves. Probably Pegasus will win the auction." The young man in glasses said.
"Tsk! Those bastards! Did you contact that merchant?"
"His profile is almost anonymous. Messaging is also disabled."
"Well… let's see the result. Looks like the auction is about to end."

The forum became agitated when Pegasus won the auction. A big guild had a lot of power. Not all guilds participated in the auction, as many were in other countries and continents. The auction took place in the city of Inaross, but players who were in nearby cities could also bid.

Some players thought Pegasus' choice was dumb. Why would they use all their money to buy an item when a better item might come along later? However, what these players didn't know was that Drops weren't that easy to catch. The Drop system of this game is very well planned, rarely drops a good item. Players would have to spend a lot of time grinding and be lucky to get a good item.

"Hahahaha!... We…we won!" The Pegasus leader looked at the headless body of the Orc King under his feet. The Red Obsidian in his hands managed to cut it without much difficulty. They earned 5 gold coins, which made up for the money spent on the sword. In addition to earning Boss' loot: 2 rare items, some unusual items, and 2 gold coins. Boss' first kill will always give the best drops. The Pegasus guild had triumphed. Fame and honor are very important, they just didn't know it yet.

"Shit!" The woman punched the table hard. She knew. She knew that if Pegasus took that sword, they would go after the Boss. Novice players may be naive, but she isn't. She knew that rare items are hard to get, let alone an SR item. Even though she was the leader of a big guild, she only had 1 rare item.
"Leader… the situation will be complicated going forward." The young man with the glasses commented. Pegasus had gained a strong momentum.
"...We'll get it back. After all, we are the Hunters." She was the leader of the guild and would need to motivate its members.

Life wasn't hard anymore, at least not in the United States of Europe. Summer break is about to start and, finally, Zoe will turn 18 and be able to play the game, Binding Fate. A simple video game, a vrmmo, but what swam under its surface wasn't simple. Power, fame and money were but the tip of the iceberg... State: Hiatus because I've an idea for another story. Quick F.A.Q. : - Yuri/female homosexual relation? Yes.- Yaoi/male homosexual relation? Maybe.- Explicit Sexual Content? Maybe.- Full Fledged Tragedy? No. Never, ever ever.- Body Modification/Body Horror? Yes. (Note: what one person think is body horror can be acceptable for someone else. If you want to see to what length I can go, read a bit of The Other Labyrinth. However, I won't go as high as quickly in the body mod/horror, so relax.- Gore? Hell yeah! I love gore! spraying blood and viscera etc...- Torture? Hurgh... maybe? Idk. Not at the start at the very least.- Memory loss/erasing? No, or at least not permanently. I basically hate this trope because it's like taking out all the character grow from a character, destroying everything that makes them what and who they are. so no.- Overpowered protagonist? You will see mufufu...- Will characters stay relevant seeing how numerous they are? YES, MOTHERFUCKING YES, I hate when characters relevance decay over time for no good reasons ^^'- Plot Armor? First of all, a definition: "Sometimes referred to as "Script Immunity" or a "Character Shield", Plot Armor is when a main character's life and health are safeguarded by the fact that he's the one person who can't be removed from the story. Therefore, whenever Bob is in a situation where he could be killed (or at the least very seriously injured), he comes out unharmed with no logical, in-universe explanation." No, because I always have an in-universe explanation, even if you don't know it yet ^^ Something is illogical or don't make sense? Read more, the answer is surely in the story ^u^- Balanced system? If you want to crush numbers and have a perfect equation balancing all the system, that's not the story for you. The system is more like a living being, and the rewards aren't forcibly tied to the level of the player. In fact, the system is purposely unbalanced ^^' Author's note: My goal here is to write a slow-paced story revolving around the bonds linking the characters, be them family, friends or lovers. Fight will be part of it, but I intend to build an actual interesting world before making truly large-scale battle happen, because the bigger a battle is, the larger its causes and effects are. I also aim at telling a story about how the characters actually help each other becoming stronger, more stable and happier. I particularly despise the lone MC type that becomes so powerful that every other character of the current setting become irrelevant beside being hostage targets, so this will not happen. I also like crafting, arrays, blacksmithing etc... so there may be crafting. Another thing I like is management game like sim-city or the like, so this while also appears, keeping in mind that I like MC's that make people around them stronger...
