(I will try to slow down a little so that it doesn’t advance to fast, also the reason I haven’t posted in a while is because I placed first in a track meet and because I’ve been trying to fix some of my work I just haven’t figured out how. I also don’t want to make to many characters so some of them will have their names be there job description.)

Dark: After the king gave me everything I wanted I left him and his speechless daughter after I told them that I was going to stay in the city for a few days and find some companions plus weapons and armor for Veronica.

The king waved this away and told me she already had some weapons and armor and that I should meet her In-front of the castle in three days.

So I left the castle and began to head to the Adventurers Guild. It’s a place where people can go to accept quest of various difficulties and get rewards from it.

When I entered the guild, “I was met by the stares of the guild leader and some of the adventurers”. What surprised me the most was that Alice and her party was also in the guild. I guess that they completed a quest before coming to this city and going to the local guild.

I decided to ignore them for now and began to head up to the guild leaders office. I arrived and found a nice comfortable chair to sit in as I waited for the guild leader.

He arrived 5 min later and asked me what I needed as this is what he told me to do If I ever needed anything.

I told him my plan, I wanted to explore the world and attend the magic school known as the Spire. (Its one really big spire surrounded by 10 other spires: and massive walls in case the place is ever under attack). Each spire teacher an element or class, there is a fire, water, earth, air, nature, dark, light, beast taming, alchemy, and enchanting classes, plus the basic mathematics, history, arts, and literature in the main spire.

I also told him the Kings orders that his daughter will be going with me to get to know me better and I came here to hire some adventurers for her protection.

He said it was a great idea and he had just the group in mind he would just have to ask them if they wanted to do it. He told me to come back tomorrow at noon and he would have my answer by then.

He also gave me some papers with my guild rank and the benefits that come with it.

I stashed these papers away and began to head home. On the way, 4 men came and surrounded me demanding that I give them what I won and that if I didn’t they would kill me and take it.

I looked around and saw that there was no one out but them and began to smile as the entire area became shrouded in shadows.

I began to head home and thought of what the poor guard or villager who them this will do. I shrugged my shoulder and kept of walking. I finally got home did my routine, ate something, and finally went to bed.

In the morning I was woken up by the scream of a women and immediately realized why so after getting ready I left and walked towards the area where I left the “bodies”. When I got there their was quit a crowed but I could still see my work, I could also see the horror and disgust on the other peoples faces as they thought about who could do such a thing. You see the first man looked like he was eaten alive my thousands of bugs, his whole body was all over the place and was unrecognizable. The second had its intestines ripped out and stuffed down its mouth. But I have to say the 3rd and 4th were the best as they were combined together to make some sort of animal with arms coming from its chest and stomach while its legs were in the same places that they would be on a dog. The final pieces were the head, which were attacked at the crotch and back. The odd part was that the creature was alive and moving about while talking about its lives.

The guards were disgusted by this and killed the creature in a pity death. I watched for a little before moving to the Adventurers Guild and talking to the Guild leader. He said that the group had accepted and were ready to go when he was.

When I asked where they were he said in the back room. So I went back there and was surprised to find Alice and her group waiting there. I asked them why they wanted to do this they said that It would be fun, they could get famous, and some of them also wanted to go to the Spire or the battle academy for warriors and the like that was next door while Alice said she was doing it for personal reasons so I left it at that and told them to come to the palace so that we could collect the princess and be on our way.

When we arrived we found the king waiting with Veronica in tow with some of her maids. Veronica was wearing light silver armor that protected he main arteries but allowed free movement and a silver staff that can channel magic. The maids also caught my attention as they moved like soldiers instead of regular workers so I asked about them.

The king said that they were private guards of the princess and that they would help with cooking, making shelter, and taking care of our equipment. I learned that these maids were identical twins whose names were Sharon and Sydney. Sharon I good at cooking and uses earth magic while her sister Sydney is an enchanter and knows a lot about maintaining a good weapon.

When we were ready to head out the king gave us some horses that would help us with our travels and some supplies. SO with everything split up between us we left the City to continue our adventure…
