Hall of Celestials

A man was standing with his hands behind his back thinking about something and after a while he ordered without turning around.

"Stand up"

Roth Soloman who was kneeling down immediately stood up,

"Father the phenomenon that Grand Elder predicted through his divinity has occurred, I made all the preparations but I never thought it would occur so far away from the capital on the measly Earth"

The Emperors gaze became sharp and he spoke in an angered tone,

"It is not your place to decide whether something is measly or not. Don't forget that's the place of our origins although it may be abandoned it can never be measly….hmph. Leave at once."

Roth gulped on his saliva and left respectfully. The Emperor had not even spared him a glance through out the whole conversation. But Roth was not angered in the slightest he knew he had committed a grave mistake this time. A mistake than might endanger even the whole empire. All he could do now was salvage whatever he could.

The Emperor shook his head recalling what The Great Divine Elder had spoken to him on his death bed,

"The Gods are envious, The Devils restless, a magical phenomenon unprecedented, Blessing if you open your arms, Curse if thou shy away. The war shall come nevertheless"

The Emperor had called upon all well-known Literature Masters to decode the meaning behind this but all the Emperor could only speculate so far was that a war is coming and possibly the greatest ever.

The emperor sighed and his holographic image faded away.

Inside Airax Space Ship

Lucifer was sitting inside a white pod while the engineers were strapping and loading cargo on the pod.

One of the engineers started giving the final instructions to Lucifer.

"Master Lucifer there is one notepad inside your backpack after 1 hour the image capturing system will send the images of information you collect directly to us, the system that nullifies EMP pulses can only be activated for 10 minutes so in case you want to use it, make sure you use it sparingly. Finally two combustion cylinders will be sent by a payload to you to pick you up after 4 hours. Best of luck"

Lucifer gave a nod and the chief engineer cleared the launching bay and gave signal for the launch.

Screeeeeee…..

The spherical pod was shot out of the space ship from the cylindrical launching bay like a cannon towards earth. Lucifer couldn't focus on anything as the pod started rotating.

He could feel the increasing speed of the Pod and the heat increasing because of friction and air resistance.

10 Minutes later….

Lucifer saw the red Alert screen inside the pod and immediately pulled a lever beside him thus releasing the parachutes attached to the pod. Lucifer immediately felt a jerk and his descending speed getting decreased immensely.

Thud!

The pod rolled over crushing some bushes and stopped.

Lucifer opened the door of the pod….. and immediately fresh air entered his nostrils. Lucifer unstrapped the belts and walked out stretching his neck. The view of tall trees and grass entered his eyes he couldn't figure out whether it was night or day as the blinding light from the source of the Solacite emission area had colored the entire sky in dark red hue.

It was an unusually eerie atmosphere. The feeling of unrest was increasing in his heart because the entire area as far as he could sense was covered with an aura of death. Lucifer went near a plant and broke its stem and immediately a pungent smell entered his nose the plant was completely wilted from inside.

Lucifer wasn't an idiot afterall landing on the planet meant being at mercy of Ceasar Mayne to pick him up but Lucifer had already prepared a card before it was the Space chip.

Neutralising the EMP for 10 mins was more than enough for Lucifer to activate Space Chip and pick out a fuel based space rocket for him to escape. But still his nerves were unusually on edge.

Lucifer calmed down his heart and started walking towards the Emission site to collect data.

Lucifer was noting down all strange things and scanning some areas to collect data.

Almost 90 mins had passed since Lucifer landed he had already sent the first report. The distance between him and the Magic Emission Area started decreasing but as it did Lucifer was feeling more and more unwell.

Another 30 mins passed by Lucifer sent his second report along with request for a pick up. But right after he did so, Lucifer started to feel weak, his vision was turning slightly hazy.

"fuck this shit….there's something really creepy going on here better leave"

But just as Lucifer started taking action a vibration occurred near his ear his ear. His whole body shivered and he felt his conscious loosing…

"Oh shit …here ..we…..gain"
