Date: 4th Binary Week, 7th Binary Day Sunrise
Location: Hydar Planet
Era: Awakening
"We must find a way to subdue them.
"It's still too early, it's better if we get them to take care of the guest, as one of their group, while we gather information about their society and progress towards a specific goal.
"I agree it's the best way, we'll take advantage of the fact that our guest is still a baby hydar."
"It will also strengthen their personal bonds and some of them can adopt it."
"More precisely, I prefer it to be adopted by a family with a good position within this society, so we won't have too many problems"
"I second that motion, it's better to become a potter or a builder than to be plowing fields for food.
"We can give you great support in manufacturing, they'll even see you as a genius."
"First we must find out which family will be the target and how we can reach them.
An argument went on for a good part of the night, until the sun rose in my head, I knew they were discussing how they could help this Hydar village and how best to get me into their circle.
Meanwhile, some Eolythians were summoned to my surroundings, without my doing anything they scattered around mainly towards the village.
"Master, the Hydars could detect the Eolythians"
"Don't worry they can stay invisible, as long as they don't use their psionic rays."
That explained a lot of how the little Balrug did not notice the presence of the Eolyto, only the Kiletrian did when he was attacked by them.
"We will expand the information about the village"
"All the Eolythians are in the established positions"
"We detected a total of 83 Hydars"

"At least 21 families are detected with 42 adult Hydars, 39 infant Hydars.
The Hydars of the village, moved constantly, busy with their various jobs while talking to their fellows, one could hear some of them singing in harmony while others danced waving their arms in a kind of singular dance. The Hydar infants ran from place to place, some of them disturbing the occasional adult who gave them a tender glance without any apparent disturbance.
"This is good, as they lack a given materialism and currency, even though they must work in harmony, like a big family of brothers, this makes everything easier for us"
I saw how the movement in the village intensified and some very beautiful voices echoed in the air, then I heard the words of the master and knew that even though some of his beliefs were backward there was still peace and harmony.
"Detecting Traits of your Population: Communal Trait Detected"
[Communal Trait: Members of this species live in close proximity to others of their species. They value the unity of the group in harmony]
"There are at least 21 families in that village and 39 infants, we must appeal to their maternal senses, a couple without children or an infertile one can be a great start to finding parents"
"It's one possibility, another would be to whisper to the Shaman in his head that I recognize him as Gaia's envoy.
"As crazy as he is, it's better not to try, he may end up sacrificing Gaia to the host, I don't even want to imagine..."
Getting to understand part of the conversation as far as they mentioned the communal feature which left me interested, maybe for that reason I have always tried with curiosity to find others, properly a family.
Koxurem came out of his small hut of mud and leaves, head down he regretted not being able to give descendants to his partner, they were young and the shaman told them that if they did not have them it was because Gaia had not destined them.

A tear crossed his eyelid falling through his yellowish skin, and then fell to the ground.
"Sister, don't cry, I love you very much and the rest of us will always be by your side, besides my children are yours even if you are their aunt"
Her Sister Terinex used to try to calm her down by saying all those nice words that she appreciated.
Koxurem hugged his sister Terinex as a sign of appreciation and thanks.
Soon Koxurem noticed something pulling him down into a robe, both of them looking down and smiling tenderly.
"My little Vamax, how adorable you are," said Terinex
"Auntie, don't worry, you're like mom to me too"
Koxurem rose to his height and with a few tears he gently embraced Vamax then dedicated some tender words to her and stood up again.

"It's the best chance we have, we'll keep watching."
Kulegaf was moulding some pots with earth, they always needed many to store water or food, as these would constantly break with use or if they suffered a blow.
The binary suns were beginning to reach the top, when he plunged back into the thought that had been eating at them for some months. He had always wanted to form his own family, he enjoyed his parents and siblings very much as a child.
Now his partner could not have children, the one he had always loved since they were very young, this brought him enormous dissatisfaction even though his brothers' children treated him like a father was not the same.
He went on to live in a silent depression, pretending that nothing was wrong even though some of his environment perceived it and did their best to help him.
"Analysis of Subject Koxurem, Male Hydar, Color Brown, Kind, Fertile, Current State Deep Depression"
"We find the right ones, it only remains to see how we can bring them together to adopt our host."
"There are several ways we can appeal to your feelings, with how much you are loved in your community there is sure to be no rejection from others"

The Nomad: A Starforged ttrpg Playthrough
Life in The Forge is rarely fun, least of all when you've got an AI that wants to turn you over to the authorities, a stolen ship full of creepy cult shit, and you've pissed off the only guy in the Devil's Helix who doesn't want you dead through sheer incompetence. Unfortunately for Ash, worst courier in the helix, that's his day-to-day. When he gets offered an opportunity to get back into this boss's good graces (and finally get something decent to eat), Ash jumps at the chance, even if that means getting tangled back up with figures he'd rather leave in the past. This is a solo play log of Shawn Tomkin's ttrpg Starforged, as such, even I don't know what's going to happen next! Enjoy the ride!
