"Alright people! let's get a move it!"
Knights were packing up as they began walking. They walk toward a small village and stop at the gate. They then saw a man coming towards with guards. When the man held out his hand for a handshake while introducing himself. "Hello! I am Baron Lucas, I presume that you are the knights that his highness sent?"
One of the knights step forward and shook Lucas's hand. "My name is Eli Silver, the captain of this squad, and yes, we are the knights his highness sent." He said.
Lucas nod. Letting go of Eli's hand, he then gestures for the knights to follow, which the knights did. They walk toward an inn. On their way, they saw villagers working, planting crops, and building houses.
Lucas gestures toward the inn. "This is where you'll be staying," Lucas said.
Eli shook his head. "No, it's fine." He said, he turns to faces the knights that were under his command. "Alright, the rest of you go and settle in while vice-captain Luke and I talk with Baron Lucas!"
The knight walks into the inn except for one who was vice-captain Luke. Luke went to Eli's side, his face serious.
Eli turns and faces Lucas, his face turning serious. "Before we can start working, how strong are the monsters here?" He asks.
"The monsters that had been spotted so far are around level five to twenty but to my estimate, they have stats around a hundred to two hundred due to how much stronger compare to the knights I already have," Lucas said he then went deep in thought. "At least that I have observed."
"You have [Apprasial]?" Eli asks shocked.
"Yes, level seven, it tells me levels and jobs." Lucas answers. "Everyone that had been born into nobility has the skill [Apprasial]." He added.

Eli turns to Luke. "Is that true?" He whispers to Luke, he nods. "Damn..." Eli mutter.
"Sir, while it may be impressive that Baron Lucas has the skill [Apprasial], the facts that the monsters are about as strong as the standard knights who are around level 30 while level 5 to 1- is much more concerning," Luke said.
Eli straightens up and smiles in embarrassment. "Sorry," He apologizes.
"No, it's okay," Lucas said laughing.
"Ah, Eli!"
The knights and baron turn to the sound and saw a woman in armor walking up to them smiling with a man following sighing and trying to catch up with the woman.
"Captain Erin! Good to see you." Eli said.
The man behind caught up to her, panting. "Captain Erin, please refrain from running from your works."
"But can't I talk with an old friend, Justin."
The man just sigh.
The two begin a conversation while Luke looks at Justin with a look of sympathy while the man catches his breath. Baron Lucas just laugh.
Erin notice and stop talking with Eli and went to Lucas, her face turning serious. "There had been a disturbance reported east in the forest. My men have already check it out." She said.
Lucas's eyes narrow. "And what was the disturbance?" He asks.
"A large pit filled with dead fanged rat along with a king. Traces of magic has also been found by mages." She replied.
"A king?" Luke asks shocked. Erin nod. Luke then went deep in thought. Eli also looks surprised.
A king referred to a monster that grew to be able to command its species and had been known to be able to make the monsters under its command stronger. They were dangerous and were to be killed or reported to the Adventurer's Guild or to the nobles that govern the area.

"A pit of dead fanged rat and a king, huh?" Lucas said. He then turns to Erin. "And traces of magic has been found near the site?" He asks. Erin nods. "And what's are the knights currently doing about it?"
"We are currently burning the bodies and filling in the pit so nobody falls into it," Erin said. "We are also setting up patrols near the area."
Lucas sigh. "It seems that we really underestimate this forest." He then looks in the direction of the forest.
"Just what kinds of monsters live in there."
