《A Curious Bird》Interlude - Cruel

Krull walks through the street.
The sky was dark with the stars and moon giving someone some light to see. The lamp that lit up by magic was the reason anyone could see what's in front of him at all.
Krull sighs as he speeds up. He walks towards his home and went in. His house wasn't much, just a cottage that had one room. However, something was off, there were papers, furniture, tools, and drawers pull out or were scattered everything.
Krull panic.
"Fuck! What did they take?" He said.
Krull search through the papers and tools. None of the papers were his research papers and all of his tools were broken which would cost him all of his savings to replace He then searches his drawers.
"D-Don't tell me that they took everything," Krull stutter.
He then turns to the back of the room. Krull walks to the back of the room where his bed along with a nightstand next to it. The drawer of the nightstand was open which made Krull even more nervous.
Krull peered into the drawer. It was empty. Krull drop to the ground and began searching frantically. He then found what he was looking after some time, and stood up holding the item.
The item was a quill with the feather being red with black streaks and a small ruby on the tip.
His hands shaking, Krull wills his mana into the ruby and the ruby glows.
Krull walks to his desk and crouches down and uses the quill to unlock a hidden drawer in the table. He slowly opens the drawer to see a journal that had its edge burned.
"No..." Krull whisper.
He picks up the journal and opens it and to Krull's horror, every single page in the journal was burned to the point that nothing could be read.

"No, no, no, no...They took everything...All of my life work..." Krull whispers in despair, dropping to his knee. Then he notices something fell to the ground next to him.
"What?" Krull said.
He looks down to see an envelope. Krull picks up the envelope and opens it, revealing a letter inside. He pulls the letter out of the envelope and lets the envelope drop to the ground as he read the letter.
Dear, my ungrateful son,
'Krull, you, my ungrateful son, How many times do I have to tell you to come back and stop focusing on your silly experiments? I send warning after warning for you to come back home and you ignore all of them. And I know you burn them all.
So, this is my final warning for you, Krull. I have burned every single research paper you wrote, broke all of your equipment that you need and that one journal you keep all of your life work to be destroyed.
If you don't come back home the next week, I'll have you forcefully dragged back home and if you resist well, you'll be beaten.
Oh, once you come back home, focus everything on the Holden Family for this is your purpose. I will not have your talent wasted on silly projects.
I'll repeat this again, this your last warning.'
From, Duke Musk
And on the letter was a stamp that Krull knows all too well. The stamp was a man dressed in lavish clothing, holding a gold bar in one hand and a dagger in the other.
This was the stamp of the Holden Family.
Krull stares at the letter before ripping into pieces and stomping on the pieces while yelling angrily. The despair he felt turned into anger.
"THAT FUCKING BASTARD!" Krull roars. "All he thinks of is whether someone is of use to him and control!"

"Trying to turn us into loyal puppets that he can fucking use to gain more power!" Krull continues yelling. "And willing to kill his own fucking children if they aren't a use to him!"
"And he fucking sent me a letter like he is a civil person and not a fucking monster!"
After several hours of yelling, Krull calms down. "...I need to leave, now," Krull said.
He then begins grabbing everything he needs in a hurry.
"In a hurry, aren't cha?"
Krull stops and looks back to see someone, no, something with pale skin and hair, a face that looks like a mask, wearing a suit and wielding a cane, sitting in a chair next to Krull's desk, relaxes.
"What do you want?" Krull said warily.
Krull shivers. He felt like he was being stared directly into his soul, he feels like he was just an ant in front of that thing.
That thing didn't feel natural and felt that it shouldn't exist at all.
Suddenly, the thing was in front of Krull's face causing him to back up. The thing was smiling.
"To make a deal of course."

Mistbound: Eternity
The world is said to be formed out of duality of man. Good and evil, right and wrong, light and dark. And with duality, comes conflict. A meaningless clash of ideals results in pointless wars. Azlan is wanderer who doesn't falls in either category. Tired and done with the redundant world, he lives his secluded life, hunting monstrosites for coin in the crumbling province of Mountaliya, situated in the land of Forsa. The premise follows Azlan as he explores the province, experiencing the culture and its people as they try to stand unshaken amidst a cold and unforgiving world. The story is a dark fantasy that is a balance of action and world building but most importantly, it follows the people going about their daily lives. The world has entered a state of stasis, there are no high stakes, no glory to be had, only a decaying realm of ice remains. Everyone awaits for Heaven's descent, an event prophesied to bring the world out of stasis, by granting the champion of the event a wish. Heaven Shall Descend. I wanted to write a high fantasy story that doesn't focuses too much on Magic and Swordfights, but rather interactions between people, a bit of politics and ideals. This is my first attempt at writing something this huge, please let me know if you see mistakes or any problems in general, so I can learn from them. (The cover picture is from the year 1818, "Wanderer Above the Mist" by Caspar David Friedrich). I also write Short stories set in the same shared universe. You can read them here: Dark Fantasy Short Stories.

Blue Screen Blues
When Ryan Glasser, (an emo kid by heart) kills himself after having a good day at school turn horribly bad, he is forced to stand before his maker for final judgment of his soul. With Ryan Thinking life was just a game he could just end and throw away without any consequences, he is offered a deal to live his next life in a real-life RPG world full of swords, magic, misery, memes, and Mondays with nothing to help him along the way but a magical cellphone full of his music to get by in his afterlife. A real-life RPG you say? That sounds like perfect place to spend eternity! What’s the catch? Well first of all, this “Server” is in a nightmarish beta stage that has two trapped goddesses engaged in an everlasting brutal holy war between each other that has recently turned into a stalemate. Ryan is supposed to kill one of these goddesses somehow. (Technically there is a third goddess, but no one really cares about her) Secondly Ryan can’t die in this world without completing his mission here. If he does, straight to hell he goes. Thirdly, right from the start of spawning into this world, he has an annoying clingy emo/scene cat-dog rogue girl fall in love with him. This would be great in all If Ryan didn’t hate furries. Ryan will realize no matter how hard he tries he just can’t lose this clingy disaster. Forth: Living in an RPG world is great and exhilarating but when the class you choose to roll seems to be just as emo as you are, interesting things are going to happen. You better hold on tight; destiny holds in store for Ryan a Twisted Romance, tons of betrayal, a life full of dark twists and turns, and an adventure that will make or break him in this strange new world. Welcome to Lectioterra Adventurer! (Please DO NOT buff the Raid boss) (Please note i am quite aware that book one was written with quite a few thousand errors. I took a break from writing for ten years and had to relearn a lot of things. I learned quite a lot from writing 100+ chapters so far. I will go back and edit book one’s chapters after I get book two finished. If you all want to point out the errors in the earlier chapters I will gladly edit those things ASAP)

Wizards - Douxie x OC 1 (Complete)
There aren't many of these out there and I'm really REALLY in love with Douxie so I decided to give this a try. This book follows the storyline of wizards with the addition of my OC. You could see it as an x reader if you want and are alright with the backstory of my OC as King Arthur's daughter. SO MAJOR SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED THE SHOW YET!!This book is complete and the sequel is out! Like the title says, this is a Douxie x OC, I don't know why but I just can't handle the whole (y/n) name thing, I'm worse at writing when I use that somehow and I deeply apologize for it.
