《Absolute Supremacy》So he wasn't a fraud after all?

Rolling Sloth died by three strikes delivered by the woman in purple. She then sheathed her sword and gazed at Cao Huang, who's face she was unable to be see.
She walked forward and stopped only a couple of meters away from him. "Do you want to kill us for that item too? If that's the case then please take it. If you hadn't interfered, it would still have gone to those jerks. So I assume giving it to you is better than giving it to those jerks." She took out a rainbow colored pendant from with in her inventory and held it up for Cao Huang to take.
Cao Huang didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He wanted to be killer but other players have already started treating him as a bandit. He didn't take it, instead asked the woman about it's description.
"What is this?" Asked Cao Huang with interest. Seeing that Cao Huang didn't immediately take it; she explained, "I can't seem to read it's description. Whenever I try to inspect it; it says that it is unidentifiable with my current appraisal ability. I was planning to take it to an appraiser to see if he could appraise the pendant." Cao Huang took the pendant from her hand and started to inspect it.
[??????] (????????)
System: User's current appraisal ability is insufficient to appraise the object.
"What is this?" Cao Huang had a hunch that this item wasn't an ordinary one.
"Take this item. You can try using the eyes of death to appraise it after a while." Cao Huang nodded his head.
"I also can't seem to appraise it, but I do know that it could be a rare object. So I won't take it from you."
The woman in purple was puzzled by Cao Huang's statement. It occurred to her that Cao Huang had only saved them for the last because he wanted to take this time from them. She then spoke in an unsure tone, "Didn't you kill those guys because you fancied this item and wanted to take it from us?" Cao Huang cleared his throat and spoke with a slightly angry and heavy voice, "Do you take me as a measly thief? I only killed those guys because they felt annoying to my eyes. It has nothing to do with this item."

The woman in purple looked down in embarrassment after hearing this. Although she was wearing a mask, Cao Huang could feel that she was blushing.
Cao Huang thought for a second and proposed, "Umm, I have a feeling that this item will be very useful to me, so if you don't mind I can exchange it with you for with an item of a similar value."
"No, just take it so we can leave." Both of them turned around and saw that it was the woman in black who spoke in a voice without any emotions.
Cao Huang really didn't want to take this item for free, so he spoke seriously, "I don't like to owe other people. I won't take it if that's the case. So here's what I propose. I can see that you have a bronze grade two-handed sword that is only useful to you before Level 7 at best. Well, I have a sword here that isn't suitable for me but for you; I think it will be a very good weapon."
Cao Huang opened his inventory and took out a dominant looking greatsword. He then handed it to the purple clothed woman to inspect.
When the woman in purple saw Cao Huang taking out the sword, she was startled to find that it was a silver graded Greatsword. Silver Grade! What does it represent? Even the bronze grade two-handed sword she was carrying was obtained by her after great difficulties. No-one would want to trade their Bronze Grade equipment at this stage of the game, when it was hard to get hold even of a single one of them. But the weapon Cao Huang was giving her wasn't a bronze grade but a silver grade! Silver Graded equipments were rarer than phoenix feathers. Only the Boss class monsters in a high leveled map, are expected to drop them. For the current players killing a Boss in a Level 5 map was proving to be extremely difficult, nevertheless, a Boss from a map higher than Level 5. That's why there wasn't a single person right now; who was in possession of a silver graded equipment. At least, she wasn't aware of a player who possessed one.
"That-That's a silver graded weapon." Said the woman in purple in a trembling voice.

"Yes, it's a silver graded weapon. A Level 10 on top of that." Cao Huang nodded in confirmation. The sword he gave her was the [Greatsword of Decimation], that he received from killing his first Death Knight.
"Why are you giving it to me then?" She couldn't believe that Cao Huang was willing to give her something this valuable. Even the woman in black who rarely gave a response came forward after seeing this.
"It's not giving but exchanging. I like the pendant, you like the sword. We both like each others item and are willing to exchange them. Problem solved. Besides, the sword isn't suitable for me. If I wasn't busy enough; I would have already sold it at the market place for some silver coins."
Cao Huang immediately thrusted the sword in her hands and disappeared towards the town, leaving the two women standing there dumbfounded.
When the woman in purple came to her senses, the first thing she did was to inspect the greatsword in her hands.
"Ahh!" The purple clothed woman screamed, throwing the greatsword on the ground.
"What happened? Why did you throw the weapon? Is it fake? I knew it! I knew that person was a fraud. How else can a person be so willing to hand over a silver graded equipment?" The woman in black spoke; sounding as she had already known that Cao Huang was a fraud.
"No, The the sword isn't fake." said the purple clothed woman still reeling from the shock, she suffered after appraising the the sword.
"Then why did you scream like that. Perhaps he poisoned it?" Said the black clothed woman as if guessing.
"The sword... The sword has an additional skill."
"Whaat! How can it be?" The black clothed woman immediately bent down and picked up the Greatsword from the ground. Even she was flabbergasted after reading the Greatsword's attributes.
[Greatsword of Decimation] (Greatsword, Silver Grade)
Level 10
Requirement: Strength 22, Endurance 7
Restriction: Berserker, Guardian Knight.
Effects:
Attack Power + 49
Strength + 23
Agility +7
Durability 45/45
Additional Skill:
Decimation Slash: A powerful sword slash carrying 150% of User's Attack Power. Cool down: 35 seconds.
"What powerful attributes, the additional skill makes it even more valuable." the purple clothed woman exclaimed.
Only those equipments which are high graded have a chance of having an additional attributes. Even the forgers rarely make equipments have additional skill. Additional skills attached to an equipment usually have a relatively less cool down time as compared to skills acquired by skill books or other means. This is why the women in purple was so shocked.
"How much of a fool a person can be; wanting to sell such an equipment for mere silver coins? If it was me; I wouldn't have even sold it for gold coins, muchless, silver coins." The women in black murmured in her heart.
If Cao Huang knew what the woman in black thought of him; he would have surely cried on the spot for the injustice he had suffered.
Cao Huang who was at the Morning Dew Town entrance didn't know what happened after he left. Even if he knew, he was too excited to care. This was because according to Vilariun, only extremely rare items need an advanced appraisal ability to inspect them.
Cao Huang found a safe place and reverted back to his character of Drifting Leaf and made his way back to the alchemy room. Such rare items, when appraised give of different sort phenomenon. He didn't want to alert the nearby players, that's why he chose this place.
Cao Huang then again changed back to Death as, only Death can use the [eyes of Death] skill.
Cao Huang took out the pendant and used eyes of death to appraise it.
A colourful radiance shown brightly from the pendant, illuminating the surroundings.
"Luckily, I came here or the whole town would have been after me."
The colourful glow faded and the pendant appeared before his eyes? Or it would be more correct to call it a mirror; instead of a pendant.

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y
