Another day another twenty cents. It was the same routine every day. Teleport to work, say good morning to my coworkers as I went to my cubical to sit and stare at this stupid bowl of water, waiting for another unhappy customer to call. What date was it anyway? Looking over at the calendar hanging on the left wall of the cubical, it said May 1st 600. Oh right, it’s been two centuries today when I first got my powers. I remember like it was yesterday. I use to be just an average nomad looking for food when I came across that town and drank from that stupid well. Not only was I confused when it turned me into a cat and collapsed in on itself. But when I finally turned back to normal, I realized that I could not only shapeshift into a cat, but I also had magic powers, including immortality and incredible regenerative abilities. On second thought, these powers were more like a curse.
