《A king's reincarnation》Chapter 16: Goddess of the Apocalypse

At a certain island surrounded by beautiful varieties of plants, inside the top of a tower made of gold, there is a huge round table surrounded by thirteen seats. 10 of those seats were already occupied by Gods, while the other 3 remains vacant.
"Where's the Gods of wisdom, war, and life? They sure are taking their time." Said one of the male gods with a pale white skin and a long gray hair that seems to reach his waist when standing. He is holding a chalice on his right hand as he looked at its contents while his left hand is on his chin.
"Now now, Larda-san, it's not like we're in a hurry, let's just wait for them a little more" Said Lena as she tried to calm down the God named Larda.
"Yes yes, Lena is right, God of wisdom must have had a lot of work, and God of war must've been recovering from his loss." Rena followed up.
"I feel bad for Alvion-san, to be defeated by a human in front of the other gods and his subordinates." Said a man with short black hair and heterochromatic eyes, having blue iris on the left and gold at the right.
"I know right? who would've expected that he would be defeated by that human in one strike. That boy sure is strong, I really wonder if he is strong enough to accompany me for 8 nights straight without rest" Said a certain beautiful goddess with a light teal colored hair, red orange eyes and a strange look on her face.
"Goddess of Love, please calm yourself down. We wouldn't want hearing news of a supreme goddess, overriden with lust, wreaking havoc in Greis because of an otherworlder." Said a tall Goddess with long orange hair and gray eyes.
"Hahaha, don't worry Padna-san, I can still control myself. I won't lose control over myself just because of that handsome, tall, sturdy, and strong human, kekeke" Said the lustful Goddess with hearts forming in her iris.
"You're a lost cause already, I can't believe someone like you is one of the 13. Hahh" Said Padna as she face-palmed herself.
"But still, what was with that human...his physical capabilities far exceeded the God of war's. Within the entire 13 supreme gods, how many of you are capable of landing a single hit on Alvion-san in a physical-only duel?" Said Larda as he asked for the other Gods' opinions.

silence...
No one raised their hands...it was apparent that there is no God in the Realm of the Gods capable of defeating Alvion in a physical-only duel, with the exception of the God of creation. That means that in terms of physical capabilities, the human earlier far surpasses them.
Creakkk*
At that moment, the huge door opened and 3 figures entered. They were the Gods of Wisdom, War, and Life. The moment they entered the huge room, all noises ceased to exist.
The three walked to their separate seats and they greeted the other gods present.
"Apologies for being late, something suddenly came up and I had to handle it. Now then, shall we start the meeting? God of Justice, please start.(The God of truth and lies, also known as the God of justice)" Said Gabriel.
The person with the height of a child stood up from his seat and began to chant a spell.
[BY MY NAME, I HEREBY DECLARE THAT ALL LIES WITHIN THIS ROOM SHALL BE ELIMINATED, AND THE TRUTH SHALL BE REVEALED. HASIAH.]
After the chant, a wave of blue light quickly spread throughout the entire room. From this moment on, as long as they are still in the room or the meeting is still ongoing, every existence in this room won't be able to speak any forms of lies. The moment one tries to, the truth shall be spoken instead, and the violator will receive divine punishment, whether one is a human or a god.
"So? For what reason did you summon the 13 supreme gods, Gabriel-san?" asked the God of Justice.
"I'm here to discuss with all of you about the irregularity of this time's summon."
"Just as I thought, well? did you find anything?"
"I managed to talk with the otherworlder earlier and I found out something that shouldn't be taken lightly."
All the participants listened in to what the God of wisdom is saying.
"Something that shouldn't be taken lightly? Why? is God Celestia-sama involved with this?" Asked Horis, the God of the Skies.
"No, I requested an audience with God Celestia-sama earlier, I inquired about the matter of this time's summon."
"Then? What was the answer?"
"It seems that God Celestia-sama is not involved with this."
"Then, aside from that human defeating a god, what is the other pressing matter about him that you're referring to?"

"All of you are aware that in the entire history of the Gods, there's only two beings capable of using the greatest form of power, the Quasil." Said gabriel.
"Yes, first is our Master, the God of creation, God Celestia-sama." Said one of the Gods.
"And the other is..."
"Yeah, it's my older sibling, Anna. The Goddess of the Apocalypse." Said Gabriel as the atmosphere grew tense.
"Why did you bring this topic up? is it related to that human?" Asked Rena, the time goddess.
"Yes yes, don't tell me that human is a user of the Quasil?" Said Lena, the space goddess in a joking tone of voice.
"Hahahahaha" Both of the twins laughed, but they noticed that not a single word came from gabriel and he looked at them as if they were spot on.
"..."
"No way..."
"D-Don't tell me it's true?"
Asked the twins in a shaking tone.
After a few seconds, Gabriel slowly nodded. All the Gods in the room were in shock by what they just found out, they couldn't believe the information that they suddenly received.
"Since the God of Justice's spell is in effect, this must be true. But, how is this possible!?" Exclaimed Horis as he tried to find out more about the matter at hand.
"A third user of the Quasil...and it's a human nonetheless."
"This is too unbelievable, a power that not even the supreme gods can handle... in the hands of a human?"
"No wonder Alvion-san was defeated..."
All of the Gods were clamoring right now, trying to take in the information.
CLAPP*
A single clap was heard from Gabriel and the entire room quieted down.
ehemm*
Gabriel cleared his throat and started saying the next words.
"I think I know what caused this to happen. The day when the Goddess of the Apocalypse died, I saw a tiny purple sphere fly out from her body. At first I thought it was just one of the lights from the outburst of her powers when her body broke, but I was wrong, it looks like that orb contains her powers."
"You mean this orb fell to Earth and planted itself in a human?" Asked one of the Gods.
"Yes, this means that Lucas, the human, is my older sibling's successor."
"""WHAT!?"""
All the gods exclaimed in shocked by what they just heard. A human as a God's successor, and that God is an existence higher than the 13 supreme Gods nonetheless. Even Alvion and Yumi, who was with Gabriel this whole time was shocked by his words.
"You mean that...this human is going to be the new God of the Apocalypse!?" Asked the Guardian God, Larda.
"Yes, that's why we must prepare. We will also evaluate whether this human is worthy of being a God in his time in Greis." Said Gabriel in a serious tone of voice.
"That's all, MEETING ADJOURNED!"
All the Gods started leaving the room, However, Gabriel stopped a certain person.
"Yes, by the way, Alfrei? Come here for a second."
Alfrei, the God of magic, also known by humans as the Sage king, stopped in his tracks and turned around to face the God of wisdom. Despite his feminine looks he is a man, his long white hair, magenta eyes, the feminine shape of his head, and his demeanor, almost everything about him is feminine. If one didn't know better, they would've been completely smitten by his looks. Appearances can really be deceiving.
"Yes? what is it?" Asked Alfrei with a smile on his face. However, Gabriel still remained calm in the presence of this intoxicating smile.
"In a month, you will be descending to the human realm again to activate the human's mana, right?"
"Yes, what of it?"
"Our one and only candidate for the title of God of the Apocalypse will be meeting you, when that time comes, I would like to ask you for a favor."
"I don't mind, what is it?"
"It goes like this..."
.....
After the conversation, the Sage king left the room, leaving only Gabriel inside.
"Why did my older sibling left her powers to Lucas? It looks like this is more than just a matter of finding a successor." muttered Gabriel to himself.
This whole time, there is one thing that continues to bug him, he didn't know what it was, but he is sure that this thing will bring light to most of his problems.
"God Celestia-sama, are you really not involved in this?" Gabriel secretly said to himself.
After that he stood up and also left the room.

The Painter: A fantasy psych thriller and epic
*** June 21th Update ***- New chapters are being posted! I haven't figured out a schedule yet, but stay tuned!- Thank you to everyone who has read and reviewed, I'm happy to say The Painter is in the top 200 best-rated fictions. - Readers of The Painter have suggested reading through Chapter 6 before making a decision on this book.- The story takes place in the Lootverse, but you don't need a canonical understanding to appreciate the storyFinally, a warning or reader beware: This is not an action novel (despite the coming fight scene) but a slow-burn psychological thriller of sorts. For a time, the Painter's life was simple. He lived in the small town of Kinon (called Kinney by locals) with his wife, Kahriah and his son, Thesdon. The story begins with him alone and unable to travel more than a few hundred miles from his home. For 5 years he tried to chart his prison until one day a letter appears with a mysterious commission that will see him test his condition and his boundary. Set roughly 50 years before the impending end of days (from Loot canon), The Painter is a story about loss, grit, and exploration of a seemingly normal man in a world of magic and monsters. The Painter will follow the man on his adventure to restore his family, uncover his commissioners and discover the nature of his condition. Loot is the decentralized, global, community built fantasy world based on Dom Hoffman's art/tech experiment: Loot. Fun fact: The cover of our book is painted by the artist, who the MC is loosely based on and the same person painting the Banners (digitally) IRL for an art/worldbuilding project.
