《A king's reincarnation》[2]Chapter 38: Just a normal talk... probably

"I am... the God of Creation" said the woman in front of me who didn't have any traces of deception on her face and movements.
As her words rang inside my head, my body started to move by itself and knelt to her. I feel no pressure coming out from her, but my instincts knew that defying this person in front of me wouldn't turn out well for me. Regardless if she really is the God of creation or not.
"Stand up, you didn't have to kneel."
"Thank you, Celestia-sama" I slowly stood up while my head tilted downwards to avoid having eye contact with her.
"You don't need to be too formal around me, after all, I called you here on a whim without even notifying you."
"I'm afraid I can't do that, after all, I'm in the presence of the God of creation."
"Then I command you to stop it."
"Guess I have no choice, well? is this what you want?" I said to her in a more casual tone.
"That's better. Let's sit down under that tree, shall we?"
Right before I could reply I already found myself sitting in front of her, it happened so fast that my eyes couldn't even register what just happened.
"What did you just do?" I asked her.
"Teleportation? you still haven't seen one?"
"I already did, but... yours are different, I didn't even have the time to register in my mind what just happened.. Teleportation aside, I have lots of questions for you, but let's start with the reason as to why you called me here?"
"Out of interest, the gods below were making a fuss about you, I already saw you once and you looked nothing special, so I had no choice but to take a look at you up close."
"So? did you find something interesting about me this time?"
"No, still the same, except for your achievements and that abnormal power of yours, you're just like any human."
"If that's the case, send me back already, meeting a big shot like you will just get me caught up in another extraordinary fate. I doubt you would even answer my questions." I said to her as I slowly stood up from my seat.
"That won't do, let's talk for a little bit more, I didn't call you here just to send you back after a few exchange of words." and before I knew it, I found myself again in an unusual position, where I'm back to my seat with the tea cup in my hands.

"Could you stop doing that?"
"I doubt you would listen to me if I ask you to sit back down."
"You're more of a pain than I thought"
"Your compliment is unneeded."
"I wasn't complimenting you. Wait, why is even someone like you who stands at the top like this? I expected a God of creation like you to be more cold and aloof."
"Why would you even think like that?"
"Because you're the God of creation, someone who's supposed to be looking down on us who are of lower race."
"You make a point, I used to be like that, but the difference is that I look at everyone equally."
"Used to?"
"Yes, back when I was still Omniscient, I used to be an emotionless god."
"You're not omniscient anymore? what caused this change?"
"Envy..."
"..."
"I was envious of everyone who has the capability to express themselves so freely... As someone who knew everything, I also lost interest on everything. Which is why I purposefully locked away that omniscience, that's also the reason why I have limited knowledge right now, if my creations planned a rebellion against me in secret, I won't even know. To others, this would be dangerous, but for someone omnipotent like me, they won't even be able to go inside here."
"You say that you're omnipotent, and that omniscience is the reason why you could never feel emotions. Then why don't you use that omnipotence of yours to make it so that you don't lose your emotions despite being omniscient?"
"I certainly can do that, I thought about doing it once, but in the end, I decided not to, after all that would just make me-"
"A slave to your own power?"
Irene looked at me as if she didn't expect expect my response. After a few seconds a little smile appeared on her face and now, instead of looking at me as if I'm just like any other normal stranger, she's looking at me with great interest.
"You're right, my pride as a god won't allow that... And my pride as a god includes that I, as the God of creation can't get manipulated. But you, you made me talk about myself with ease. You manipulated me into talking about myself as if it's just a walk in the park for you."
"Isn't it because you always let your guard down in front of your creations? To be honest, I expected to get more out of you, to think you caught on to me that I was only able to get a single information, as expected of you." I said to her as I flashed a smug at her

"Single information, yet, valuable. The moment I disabled my omniscience, I have never once let my guard down. You, piqued my interest. But you will still have to pay for manipulating me!" She said to me as she pointed her finger at me.
"What do you want then? I won't accept if it's related to death."
"Oh, it's nothing much, just hang out with me."
"That's a little bit too- wait... hang out?" I asked her in order to clarify what I just heard.
"Yeah, you heard me right, it gets pretty boring here sometimes and that's where you come in."
"If it can save me from your ire, then... it's fine, I guess?"
"Good, now then, it's my turn to ask my question."
"Ask away." The moment I replied, the aura around her changed, it looks like she's about to ask a serious question.
"What do you desire?"
"A simple life."
"Is that the only thing you want?"
"Yes."
"Then let me rephrase my question, If I gave you a wish, what do you want me to grant you? Power on the same level as mine? Authority of a God? Wealth that even a world can't contain? Or knowledge on the same level as nigh-omniscience?"
"Nothing, If I wanted to have these things that you spoke of, then I'd rather get them using my own hands."
"And why is that?"
"Because I want to."
"Is that so? and here I was, expecting a unique reply from you."
"Then I apologize if I disappointed you, a good reply doesn't always have to be unique."
"You're right, now then, since the Sage king probably went back to the realm already, I'll do the activation for you."
"That'll help, thanks."
She held out her palm and a blue glowing orb manifested at her hands which flew inside to my body. I suddenly felt a new kind of energy coursing through my entire body which I managed to stabilize and adapt to my own in a few seconds.
"Ummm, please tell me that this is not a special kind of activation that is different from the others."
"It is a special one, after all, I'm the one who granted it. If you're thinking that you can't find someone you can fight anymore, then you're gravely mistaken."
"I mean, I already defeated Alvion, what's more to expect?"
"You have a point, but just because Alvion's a god, doesn't mean he's the strongest."
"What do you mean?"
"The three most powerful demon kings, even if you put 5 Alvion against the third demon king, paimon, they won't even be able to defeat him, the best that 5 god of wars can do against the third demon king is just inflict some scratches on him. And that's only the third demon king that we're talking about."
"Does that mean..."
"Yes, there are lots of surprises in my world, just do what you want and have fun."
"I see... thank you for this information, well then, I'll take my leave." I said to her as I stood up from my seat."
"I'll be seeing you again later, By the way, Lucas?"
"What is it?"
"What do you plan on doing with the royal family? Are you going to tell them the truth?" she asked me with a serious tone of voice.
"That goes without saying, I'll tell them the truth when I get the chance, I don't intend to deceive them for a long time just for the sake of my peaceful life."
"I see... Good luck when that time comes."
After that I walked through the gate that suddenly appeared and the hallway of the tower appeared before my eyes.
...
On the realm of the gods, inside gabriel's room...
"Gabriel, you're right, Celestia-sama summoned him to her realm. But what do you plan on doing?" Asked Alfrei to the person sitting in front of him.
"He's the next possible God of the Apocalypse, Celestia-sama taking an interest in him is an important factor, as the head of the supreme 12, I have to prepare for this."
"I see, if you need any help, feel free to ask me and the others."
"Will do, thanks..."
Right after Alfrei left the room, Gabriel laid down on the couch, and started to talk to himself.
"If lucas really refuses to accept the position, looks like I'll have to ask celestia-sama to make a new God. The position of the Apocalypse God is needed to be filled by someone worthy, or else that balance in this realm will completely break."
