Gabriel, Mak and their new ally started their way towards Warren's coven, even though they had a plan of attack, beating Warren would prove a huge challenge to Gabriel and Jason, their opponent

was known for his strength and cruelty in combat, Gabriel was feeling so sure of himself that he kept smiling all the way, Jason was afraid, he had seen what Warren is capable of, as for Mak he had

a strange feeling in him but he didn't tell his partners, after a couple of hours of silence Jason had some last minute advice for them...

Jason-Gabriel do you remember what I told you about vampires?

Gabriel-Sure,hit them with the bullets.

Jason-You don't want to waste silver ammo on the Daywalkers, we need to preserve it for the pure vampires, even one bullet can do significant damage to them.

Gabriel-Ok, I guess then we hit these Daywalkers with the knives.

Jason-Yes, also we will need the ammo for the real challenge.

Mak-Warren.

Jason-Yes.

Gabriel-If you are so afraid of him, let me have him.

Jason-No way, you can't fight Warren all alone, I am not sure that even both of us can take him on.

Gabriel-Ok, we will get him together.

Jason-Let me give you some last advice, even if you see me hurt don't come to help me unless you are clear.

Gabriel-What?

Jason-If you are in the middle of a fight don't worry about me even if you see me injured, as a half vampire I have regenerating abilities.

Gabriel-Ok Jason, I will just focus on fighting.

Jason-Our opponents don't have the right gear to kill me, I hope you can handle yourself as well.

Mak-You seem awfully sure.

Mak-Yes.

Gabriel-I had another vision earlier this night, my power turned vampires to ashes.

Mak-I see, that light must be some sort of holy magic.

Jason-You mean you have the power to conjure damaging light?

Gabriel-We will have to test it out.

Jason-If we encounter pure vampires don't hesitate to use it, probably it won't work on Daywalkers.

Gabriel-One way to find out.

Gabriel focused his energy in his right hand and emitted light, stronger than the other time he tried, it didn't have any effect on Jason though.

Gabriel-Hmm, it doesn't work, you were right.

Jason-You little ashole, did you just try to kill me?

Gabriel-No..., I just put a little energy into that, it wouldn't even hurt a fly.

Jason-I didn't feel anything.

Gabriel-See?

Jason-Don't do it to me again with more power then.(What kind of guy tries something like that?)

Gabriel-I'll do it to them, don't worry.

Jason-It might give us an edge on Warren too, is that why you reek of confidence?

Gabriel-Maybe.

Jason-We arrived men.

Mak-Where are we?

Jason-About half a mile of Warren's coven.

Mak-You don't want to go any closer?

Jason-I would like to keep the element of surprise, Daywalkers are probably scouting around the place, you should be able to see it.

Mak-Is it that building over there?

Jason-Yes.

Mak-Dude that's a fucking castle.

Jason-More or less.

Gabriel-Is he living in a castle?

Jason-You won't be impressed when you go inside, the place is a dump.

Gabriel-Ok, Jason we are out, Mak stay here and when I give you a sign come closer with the car.

Mak-Ok.

Gabriel left the car with Jason, they started approaching the big castle-like building, Jason noticed three men outside the main door.

Jason-You see these three Gabriel?

Gabriel-Yes.

Jason-Probably Daywalker guards, get up and approach them.

Gabriel-Approach them like that?

Jason-They are not going to attack you immediately, just get their attention,I'll do the rest, hide your weapons.

Gabriel-Ok.

Gabriel started slowly approaching the main door, the guards spotted him instantly.

Guard 1-Who are you boy?What are you doing here?

Gabriel-Hi....can you help me?

Guard 1-Help you with what?

Gabriel-You see, my friend and I went camping just a bit further but we are lost now and can't find the way back.

Guard 2-Lost huh?Don't you know what this place is?

Gabriel-No idea sir, I just saw it and came for some help, can you tell me where this is exactly?

Guard 3 whispered-I say we get them, i could use a snack.

Gabriel-Sorry, I didn't catch that.

Guard 1-Nothing, bring your friend over here and we will give you both directions, is that ok?

Gabriel-Thank you sir.

Gabriel then stood in front of them and didn't move at all, this friend he came up with isn't really there, he was patiently waiting but the guards did not know why?

Guard 1-Why are you still here, go get your friend.

Gabriel-Ummmm......

Suddenly Jason leaped behind them, slicing the throats of the two guards that were close to each other and shooting the last one in the head, it all happened in an instant.

Gabriel-Wow, took you long enough.What was that about not wasting ammo?

Jason-I had to, couldn't get him fast enough with the blade unless I came close enough, nice job.

Gabriel-Yeah, you too.

The two men opened the door and went inside the building carefully, the place was just like Jason described, smashed things all around, broken tables, chairs, no sign of light in the building, the room

was big, just a big room with rubble and a big staircase in the middle that split in two as it went up to the second floor.

Jason-No one here, strange.

Gabriel-Why is that?

Jason-This is the main hall, it should be swarming with them now.

Gabriel-So, let's just find Warren in his sleep and kill him.

Jason-No wait, I hear something.

Some slight noise was coming from the way to the staircase, footsteps, heavy footsteps as a dark figure came down from the staircase.

Warren-Oh Jason, Jason!Come out now, I know you are here.

Jason and Gabriel came out of cover to face their enemy.

Jason-Warren.(Jason's feet started to tremble)

Warren-Hey J, how are you doing?I was expecting you.

Jason- You expected us to come?

Warren-Well I expected you to come, not to bring company with you, who is that boy you brought along?

Jason-None of your business.

Warren-Gabriel!How nice to meet you?

Gabriel-How do you know my name?

Warren-Oh I know a lot about you, my friend, come join me upstairs.

Jason whispered-Do as he says.

Gabriel-Why?

Jason-We will get our chance.

Gabriel and Jason followed Warren upstairs where a big throne sat close to the wall and there were some fine leather red couches, the walls were exactly like the rest of the building with broken

furniture scattered and big wooden spikes coming from the walls.Jason and Gabriel sat on one of the couches, Warren sat opposing them.

Jason-Why did you bring us here Warren?What do you mean you expected us to come?

Warren-You see J, the humans are starting to get smart, most of my men are dead by the hands of the military,so I came up with a plan, you like Lynn don't you?

Jason-You son of a bitch.

Warren-Easy there, no false moves, you too Gabe, I know you want to shoot me with that gun you are hiding but hear me out, ok?

Gabriel-(But how?How does he know?)

Meanwhile, Mak slowly approached the building with the car, Gabriel forgot to give him a signal so he figured they would already be inside by now.He parked the car a little bit further than the gate, far

enough so no one would be able to spot him but close enough to keep an eye out on the gate in case his partners needed an escape.While waiting he noticed a figure going in from the main gate.

Mak-What?My eyes must be playing tricks on me.

Warren-Anyway, I attacked Lynn's little village because I knew you would find out.

Jason-Me and Lynn are over, you couldn't possibly base your plan that I would find out.

Warren-True, the case is that...Lynn helped a little, isn't that right girl?(Warren pointed behind them)

Jason and Gabriel turned their heads only to see Lynn looking back at them.

Jason-Lynn?What are you doing here?

Lynn-I..i...had too.

Warren-Come on girl, don't cry, you see Lynn there was my bait to find you.

Jason-To find me?Why?

Warren-I told you, the military killed most of men.

Jason-You want to recruit me again?

Warren-Not really, but who could give them such information?

Warren-Brilliant!You see, the fairies are in the cells down below in the basement, Lynn over here cast a Mark of Charming on our friends, Gabriel and that guy you left outside, Mak.How could you not invite

Warren-Yes she practically forced them to come find you J.

Gabriel-How could you?

Lynn-I'm sorry Gabriel.

Warren-Even her injuries were part of Mark of Illusion.

Gabriel-But...

Warren-You didn't find it suspicious at all?A lone fairy survived an attack from my men?You know how fragile fairies are right?

Gabriel-(He is right, Mak told me not to even touch them).

Warren-Even more interesting, didn't you find it suspicious that she was alone?No one else was there.

Jason-Enough Warren, I am here now, what do you want with me?Let the fairies go with Lynn.

A woman appeared behind Lynn grabbing her throat.

Rebecca-Hello little fairy, care to join your sisters?

She snapped Lynn's neck killing her instantly, Jason lost his mind there.

Jason-You bitch, I am going skin you alive!

Rebecca-Let's see you try Daywalker.

Jason pulled out his gun and shot the female vampire, unloading an entire magazine.

Warren-Woah, splendid Jason!But that was my girl you know...

Gabriel stood up and pulled a gun right in Warren's face, he pressed the trigger but Warren disappeared, he was suddenly sitting on the throne.

Gabriel-What?How?!

Warren-Darren, Cassius, Ruse.(Warren snapped his fingers again)

Three men with long dark hair wearing suits jumped from the sides of the room in front of Gabriel and Jason.

Warren-Kill them, and watch out for the boy's light attack.

Gabriel-(What the hell?)

Darren-What attack?

Jason-Gabriel!Now go all out!

Gabriel and Jason fought with the three vampire men that appeared in front of them, Jason took on all of them and Gabriel was standing still, he could not keep up with the speed these four had, the

confidence he had quickly became fear, Jason managed to shoot down one of them and kept fighting them with a sword in one hand and the gun in the other, dodging, shooting and slashing in very

high speed.

Warren-Calliope, Adrienne.(Warren snapped his fingers once again)

Two female vampires with beautiful faces, one with long blonde hair and one with short red hair with old-fashioned hats and wearing both red dresses appeared the same way the other vampires did,with a swift leap from the corners of the gigantic room.

Warren-Get the boy ladies.Show them what the Blood Legion is all about.

Calliope-With pleasure.

Adrienne-Yes, master Warren.

And so our friends found themselves in a very dire situation, Jason was fighting with two male vampires, Darren and Cassius after he managed to take down one of them, Ruse, Warren was sitting

on his throne enjoying the fight, Gabriel was lost after seeing how fast vampires are, even Jason as a Daywalker that was supposed to be weaker than pure vampires managed to keep up but Gabriel

was full of fear as the two vampire women stood in front of him ready to attack at lightning speed, how is he going to deal with them?
