Eric was sitting on the step that seperated the two halves.The room was full of decorations, great braziers hanging from each of the twelve limestone columns light up the lower levels of the hall and allow shadows to play and dance

where light cannot reach. The paintings of vast landscapes on the embowed ceiling dance in the flickering light while statues and sculptures look down upon the grey wood floor of this grand hall. Just as Gabriel was absorbed by everything

around him, Eric snapped him out of it...

Gabriel pulled his gun and started shooting at Eric, an invisible shield captured all of the bullets hat were shot from Gabriel's sub-machine gun.Before he could reload his gun, the bullets were shot right back at Gabriel, poking holes in his

body, the impact of each bullet was severely increased than that of a gun.Gabriel felt each bullet penetrate his skin as he fell on his knees from the pain...

Eric-Psychokinesis is beautiful, isn't it Gabriel? The bullets you hoped that would be my end came back at you with ten times the velocity that they left your gun.

Gabriel-Aghh...

The injuries healed thanks to Gabriel's regeneration.

Eric-You are tougher than you look, the vampire's powers sure are handy.

Gabriel hit again, harder this time, the punch had enough force to throw Eric along with his barrier at the wall, even though he had the shield up the impact of the collision hurt his body, as he spit blood down Gabriel told him...

Gabriel-Just as I thought, you just have a little ball around you, as long as I can hit you with enough force you will be struck against the walls of your very own shield.

Eric-I..Impressive.Now all I have to do is change the structure of the psychic barrier.

Gabriel-(Damn, he is right.That won't work again, think Gabe).

Eric-Let's see what else you have up your sleeve.
