《Shining Duos》Lun Yuo

Two enchanting looking youths, one devilishly handsome boy and one angelic, beautiful girl, were walking out menacing but extravagant silver gates. The boy was wearing a black sweater, white shirt, fitting skinny black pants with black and white sneakers.
The girl was wearing something similar to it; she had tight white leggings, a black shirt, and a white sweater. Their outfits did not need extraordinary design as to how they currently look already perfectly match their body type and face making them look all the better.
Currently, they were looking around the surrounding, noticing behind them their main family mansion, which expanded for several miles. And even then surrounding the estate was lushes trees bushes and grasses filled with bright exotic looking plants giving off an ethereal feeling.
The two naturally was Kazami and Kuzumi, as they were currently looking straight head of themselves they observed in the distance several dirt roads that all lead to one large city. The streets naturally had tall trees and bushes all around them.
On the roads, there were a variety of people on them, ranging from normal-looking humans or even beast-like humans with wings, tails, or horns.
"Like always, our Star city is getting a lot of attraction; this family truly knows how to run themselves." Kazami sighed while taking in people either walking causally or flying to Star City.
"It's something alright; though I wished you didn't make us run out of the house so quickly, I wanted to show off our new realm a bit." Kuzumi had a small but cute pout on her face.
"Now is not the time to show off besides most people in the younger generation usually are done with Qi connection by 16, and we're only 17 you do realize," Kazami replied with a wry smile and slightly shook his head.
"Yea, but how many Qi connection youths can do this brother!!" Kuzumi had suddenly slung her arm around his neck and held up a palm to his face.
On it, a blue lightning bolt formed along with a small blue flame. His sister's ego was warranted as even if they did take longer than usual; only a talented genius could achieve a result like this.
With cynicism dripping from his voice he told her,
"My dear sis, didn't you just hear auntie on how we shouldn't parade around our powers. But I understand where you're coming from soon; we'll be able to flash around feats."

Pushing her arm harder to the point where their two faces were practically touching each other Kuzumi still smiled and said,
"Oh, dear brother, must you always suppress us to be a good obedient child?? But you're right they will all know soon enough. Now! Elder Jon! We're ready to go." Kuzumi shouted while still dangling on her brother like a monkey.
"Yes, Young Mistress and Young Master, we shall head to Forest Wing City now." Said a mysterious black figure who appeared out of thin air.
The figure was a man and was wearing an all-black hooded cloak, allowing no one to see his full face. On his cloak to the left of his chest was a unique star symbol that was silver and looked authentic.
He looked slightly skinny in the cloak, but anyone can feel an immense danger by just his presence.
"Like a ghost every time, eh, Elder Jon? Oh! Is it still pretty early, right?" Kuzumi questions the cloaked man, finding it interesting how he always appears when one of them calls for his name.
"With my speed, we shall make it in time, Young mistress." The man said, a hint of amusement laced in his voice.
With a wave of his hand, he made the two float in a black barrier that surrounded the three and started to fly at an incredible speed.….
....
"Ah-Ha! Here we are, and wow, this place is bustling a lot more than usual." From high in the sky, Kuzumi was commenting while looking on down on a large city. It expanded for hundreds of kilometers, with no end in sight.
The city had many tall and large colorful buildings with dozen of roads splitting up the city. Surrounding the place was a substantial white transparent barrier that gave the city a secure feeling for anyone living it.
The twins notice massive crowds of people rushing to a single point toward the center of the city.
Landing on the ground just outside of Forest Wing City, they came up to the entrance, which was protected by a strong-looking man and woman in green knight armor. Both of their presence could easily deter any trouble makers or weak people.
However, no words were needed as the guards recognize the star symbol on Elder Jon cloak, and they nodded their heads and allowed them to go through.

"Now, then, let's go find my first future sister-in-law that you should've already court by now." Pulling Kazami along, Kuzumi had a mischievous smirk.
"Eh, I never really had the time to try. Besides, you're essentially my shadow how can I court with you always on me?" Kazami retorted as even now, Kuzumi was still tightly holding his hand.
"Come now, brother, you know I just have to witness Yu little blushing reactions whenever you do make her yours. Moreover, has their ever been a day where we weren't together?" Kuzumi stuck her tongue out in response.
"Whatever, let us get a move on already." Beaming at him for seemingly accepting his fate, she pulled him faster with Elder Jon right behind them.
Making their way through the mass crowds of people, they finally saw a stunning golden hair beauty.
She had the most lushes gold hair one would ever gaze upon in their life as if it was a waterfall flowing entirely down to her waist. She had a beautiful face with golden eyes to match and bright cherry red lips.
The girl had small hips and graceful slender legs and voluptuous upper body for a girl her age. Currently, she wore a medium size enchanting blue skirt and a pretty white blouse for her top. She was leaning on a wall with hands behind her back. And standing protectively over her was a sharp-looking man wearing a white uniform robe.
"Ah, there she is, Yu! We're finally here." Screamed Kazami as he started to dash towards her with Kuzumi only slightly behind him.
Hearing Kuzumi's familiar voice, the girl expression instantly brightened and started to run towards Kazami, screaming, "Kazami! Finally, you're here and sis Kuzumi too!"
Kazami reached her and wrapped her up in a hug as both laughed and felt comfortable in each other embrace. He asked;
"Didn't make you wait too long now?"
Blushing a bit, the girl shook her head. "Of course not! My days will instantly lighten up, seeing you and Kuzumi. Though next time come early, as I wanna see you earlier!"
She ended with a big smile on her face as looking up to Kazami as she only reached up to his shoulders.
"Oh, we'll try, but sometimes we always get lost up in our little world," Kuzumi stated, still at Kazami's right side while the other girl went to his left.
"Elder Zhun, Lun Yuo, good day." Nodded Elder Jon as he was getting close to the trio with the now named Elder Zhun similarly nodding towards him.
"Oh, even Elder Jon came today; these youth minds games will be tons of funs!"Exclaimed Lun Yuo as she was holding hands with Kazami. They had started walking towards the center of the city and hearing what Lun Yuo said, Kuzumi sighed;
"I hope it will be. Last time this city tried to host an event, it ended being some boring history lesson I fell asleep too."
"You mean the Wonderous Tales Master? I thought his story was quite interesting. You're too much of a battle junkie." Kazami recalled an event a few months ago where one of the oldest cultivator alive came to visit their star planet.
He did recount many intriguing details that fascinated both young and old generations; only his sister utterly feel asleep throughout the entire event.
Kuzumi, on her part, simply shrugged, still not caring about listening to boring history lessons.
"Ah, Kuzumi, did you forget? The Psionic law master is a man capable of extraordinary feats with his mind, and he is the one hosting these games. I'm sure it'll be exciting. I also heard he'll allow one person a question towards whoever wins. Afterall he the smartest cultivator here on our Forest God Realm!"Luo Yun told while looking pumped up about this event.
"Heh You know all that reward sounds very promising. Only it's a shame you all won't make it past the first round."
A slight mocking voice called out to them. The group turning their heads to the left saw two redheads, one girl and boy, and behind them was one tall redhead woman walking up to them.
"Oh, will you look at that it's the Black Blood Angels clan." Kuzumi groaned a bit while looking towards them.

The 8th Day
One day life is good. The next day it isn't! The boundaries between... well, whatever they're between.. have shattered! Monsters burst out from cracks in the universe, and reality suddenly begins to function similar to a game -- but not a game that anyone knows all the rules about! Magic is suddenly real, but so are monsters and death! Lots of death! And the worst part of it all? I think we did it to ourselves! We invented video games, and personally I think that great Finger-in-the-Sky picked up a console somewhere and started playing them. Since He liked what he saw, he must've declared, """"On the 8th Day, let there be Game!"But what do I know about it all, really. After all, I'm just """"The Witness"""" forced to observe it all.__________________________________________________________________________Author's Note: There's a lot of tales where characters get stuck in a Virtual Reality. """"Sword Art Online"""", """"Log Horizon"""", """"The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor"""". This is a story told with the premise inverted -- instead of a person from reality going into a virtual world, what would happen if the virtual world instead came to reality?I want this tale to speak about the aspects of the game, as it has affected the current reality, but the focus of the story should never be on the """"reality-turned-game"""" itself, but on the characters and their oh-so-human struggles, personalities, and attempt to adjust and live within the bounds of their new existence. Hopefully this won't just be a story of """"reality turned into a game"""", but instead will be something more meaningful such as a story of the strengths, perseverance, and humanity of man-kind as they try to adapt and face the unknown.*** And, most importantly, I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it. ***WARNING: RATED MATURE M[18+] FOR GORE, SEX, VIOLENCE. The apocalypse isn't a pretty place to try to survive in, and neither is every scene in a story trying to describe it.

Bon Week-end
He runs the underground. She’s made it her playground. Their time together--the stuff of pulp fiction. When a corrupt corporate conspiracy threatens to tear them apart, they blast back with their offbeat brand of crime and chaos. This story is just one from the pulps. Film critic Roger Ebert once described them as ‘cheap, disposable entertainment that you could take to work with you, and roll up and stick in your back pocket.’ So do just that--and read it on the weekend. Bon Week-end is a novel written in the tradition of Jean-Patrick Manchette’s neo-polar, existing now as what shall be known as the neo-serial. This is Nippoten’s second serial following the superhero epic Entirely Presenting You. This novel will have a rather unique release schedule compared to others.
