《Shining Duos》The New Path

As the four were cultivating, they soon heard footsteps knowing it's the Slaughtering God coming with whatever he finished outside.
"Ah, sensing all of your levels now, it seems to have stabilized. Good for the remainder of the time I will explain all the contents inside the space rings and direct you to a way to quickly gain a level." The man got the four interest now since whatever he was doing outside may be related to gaining a level.
"Um, before we begin, just what kind of level is this chaotic shard since it got you God Hood path people vying for it." Lun Yuo asked him as this was a question that always bugged their mind the most.
Generally, once a cultivator enters the ranks of God Hood, not many items can tempt them. At their levels, one would usually rely on their excellent talent and abilities to advance. But something that seemed so dull caught the attention of the Slaughtering God puzzling the youths' minds.
It wasn't only the Slaughtering God and Horned Tiger that wanted this shard; even two high tier Divine Path cultivators possessed it as well.
"Honestly, even now, I'm not sure of what the chaotic shard is supposed to be. But I do know it's quite ancient mythical and special. It even dates beyond my time. You'll see it for yourself. Oh, and one more thing I should mention as well, the green eye orb was also apart of a demon who was also a God Path cultivator. Although he's severely weakened like us and do note if you come across that orb, it will produce green slime."
"WAIT! I didn't really put much thought into it before but that green eye orb in the cave. That terrifying voice and sensations is that demon you're talking about!" Kazami, Kuzumi, and Lun Yuo all sprang to their feet, now remembering in precise details about their earlier encounter.
"Oh? And where was the demon?" Slaughtering, God didn't have many expressions on his face despite the reveling news. His curiosity only peeked to knowing where the demon was after losing track of him.

"Well, we saw the green eye orb in a cave near Kelp city. But we escaped before that demon could even appear before us. I think he was intentionally trying to frighten us, giving he should be able to control his aura like you freely." Kazami told him, which only made Slaughtering God shook his head.
"While he may be at the same level as me, we share different natural abilities. And his green demon race can strike fear into other races from their presence alone. This fear can half one combat prowess or even froze them still." Such an ability made the trio feel cold sweat running down their back, and even Brenda felt intimidated by such a race.
"Well, the good thing is it only most effective against people weaker than them, and if one at the same level, they can fight off the fear. If a person is stronger than a green demon, then it won't have that much of an effect, although there are rare exceptions."
The youths breathed out a little sigh when hearing that race can't affect every being no matter the condition. If their race could freely half anyone combat prowess, then it would be unimaginable to do so across the universe.
"Was that demon also attempting to get the chaotic shard as well?" Kazami asked as it's impossible for three God Hood paths cultivators to all end up on the same humane realm planets.
"Yes, but as you can tell, he didn't have much success; either way, this demon is a bit troublesome, but I'm sure you'll handle him later on."
Slaughtering God's utmost confidence in the youths' increased by the second.
To stabilize, one realm after breaking through usually requires a day for ordinary people and hours for geniuses. But the four here only needed minutes at most before maintaining and cultivating to the next level.
And it wasn't even because of their special powers or bloodline either. All of it came from their talent and comprehension.
"I guess all it means we just have to become stronger than this demon. It seems a lot simpler to say it than do it." Kuzumi stated but still felt some apprehension towards the demon. He was a God Hood cultivator, a level of power completely beyond the youths' scope.

"Enough about the demon for now; let's go over what we need to know."
…
After sometime later, the four were now examining a map while Slaughtering God was finishing up his explanations.
He informed the four on every little talisman, cultivation resources, and essential places they should visit after leaving. And he told them about where the Horned Red tiger resides, his people and its general plans.
"Now for the last thing, it's how Kazami, Kuzumi, Lun Yuo will make it to peak Spirit Formation and how you'll breakthrough to Origin Formation Brenda so listen up carefully." Slaughtering God's words got the four of the map concentrating all of their attention on him.
"Now, when you follow the first route I told you, you will come across an expansive fancy carriage with the symbol of air and iron mix on it. The people in this carriage managed to come across a heavenly rank pill, and it's high rank as well perfect for you four." Eyes spread open when hearing someone on this planet got their hands on a heavenly rank pill.
Among the items the four received from Slaughtering God, of course, there many exotic and powerful resources there and even better ranks pills.
But they attributed it to the fact because Slaughtering God as a former God Hood cultivator, he honestly could quickly gather such resources. However, it usually can be considered one's great luck and fortune to come across a heavenly rank pill.
"So how will we get it? There no way we can face that carriage just ourselves." Brenda asked as the route they were taking was leading them to the border of the second-ranked province.
Unlike the former province, this province standing counted as the second rank indeed was a testament to their power. The average cultivators for this province would be Ruler Transformation, and the four got told the geniuses would rank at Heaven Ruler realm.
This province also had cultivators above the Heaven King Sea realm as well all something way beyond the four current power levels.
"What you four will do before crossing their path is luring a rouge Nightmare creature using this garlic." Slaughtering God popped out a clove of garlic, but the peculiar thing was, the four couldn't smell anything from the garlic.
And the garlic appearance was quite strange with it having odd black markings etched upon it.
However, they paid no attention to that and Kazami asked what they thought about it;"Nightmare creatures? What the hell is that."
"From what I manage to pick up, they hail from the first rank region called the Northern Darkness region. These creatures seemed to be human, but their minds are almost but all lost. All of them use demon Qi, one of the most dangerous Qi to control since it can easily destroy one mind. But for us, they will be the perfect knife."
The four in their time had limited experience with the types of Qi's in the word, but even they knew demon Qi was one of the most infamous in the universe. Even to the point where Kazami only heard there were only a few demonic Qi users are standing at the top of the cosmos.
"Since it's something you planned, I'll assume their pretty strong at least enough for it to wipe off that carriage and steal that pill." Kazami guessed what he is getting told to do.
"Right and remember this while carrying this garlic, you must not get it damage in anyways while holding it. The nightmare creature will remain memorized following you, but it must be in perfect condition, or the creature will go berzerk and attack you. Once you're at a good enough distance, throw the garlic right at the carriage, and only then can you detonate it."
The youths all nodded, and after going over one last time of what they needed, the four traveled to the exit of the cave.
"Good luck out there. I'm sure you'll do just fine." Slaughtering God cheered them on a good nature smile etched on his face.
