With only a single step taken in a dark blue land, lightning raged down from the dark blue sky at astonishing speed. Its target was one fiercely excited looking girl who donned a blue lightning aura around herself.

Kuzumi only had seconds to react to the lightning as she forcibly took on the electricity.

Crossing her arms, she was sent skidding back as the lightning hammer into her. The lightning was attempting to seep into the blood of her body, but Kuzumi manages to fight against it.

Although the lightning was growing increasingly stronger and she had to unleash divine bloodline and slip out of the attack.

Jumping a bit away, Kuzumi felt her arms stinging plus a growing excitement in her mind. That lightning would tear through any low-level Ruler Transformation cultivator, and while Kuzumi felt lingering fear feeling, enthusiasm still bore through her.

Mainly because on her own before she unleashed her divine bloodline, Kuzumi felt a deep connection with the lightning that threatens to take her whole. Although she had to put that thought on hold and gaze upon the trial space.

With only second to look around the space she was in, it was like home for any master of lightning.

Each and every inch of the place, lightning raged about in some capacity even to the ground being electrified.

'No wonder my feet are similarly stinging like my arms.' Kuzumi thought and strained her eyes to see more of this lightning heaven.

Although it was incomparably hard to see in the space and the only flashes lightning gave Kuzumi any vision of the area.

And in a brief couple of seconds, Kuzumi used, she sensed multiple lightning strikes now coming at her.

Being more prepared this time, she dashed away from the spot running in a random direction. Thinking she avoided it, a smile crept on her face; only she was stunned when turning her head back.

Instead of crashing into the ground, the multiple lightning strikes turned and chased after Kuzumi, like a homing missile.

Kuzumi was shocked and in awe since she couldn't perform such feats with her lightning once she fired off an attack. Despite having smooth control, this was on another level she had never seen before.

Nevertheless, Kuzumi still kept running but soon realized the lightning strikes were swiftly catching up to her. Not wanting to tank on another blow, Kuzumi now unleashed her divine powers and turned around.

With a maniac smile and wrapped in a silver-blue lightning aura, she charged straight at the lightning at a higher speed than the strikes.

'BOOOM!'

Complete obliteration occurs as the lightning strikes dispersed, and Kuzumi was left standing with a tingling sensation. The strange connection this time she notices was barely there with the addition of her divine powers.

But the lingering sensation of the lighting strikes turned into a burning one as her blood started to flare uncontrollably.

However, not even a few seconds later, from the ground out, sprouted several lightning chains intending to wrap Kuzumi up.

She attempted to jump out, but one chain shot quicker than she expected and wrapped around one of her arms. Thanks to her divine bloodline and power, she didn't feel much pain and still jump at a quick pace.

Only she felt a tugging feeling as before she knew it, her other arm got wrapped up and pulled her down her to the ground.

'BANG!'

A crater formed below her because of the impact, and Kuzumi was left feeling pain all over her body.

Soon all of the chains wrapped around Kuzumi's body and discharged terrifying lightning that seeped into her blood.

It was a torturous feeling with lightning raging about in her body, but instead of roaring out in pain, Kuzumi gritted her teeth with a crazed expression.

'Tch, AH! Just a little more!'

She screamed out in her mind as amazingly enough, Kuzumi was relying on resisting the pain to deeply sense the lightning rampaging in her blood. Like before, her blood was flaring up even fiercer, allowing Kuzumi to come up with a wild idea.

'Flow through my body and become my strength!' This was an insane and risky move, but Kuzumi dropped her divine bloodline and powers taking in more significant pain than ever.

"AHHHHH!" She hoarsely yelled, but it was caught short as her eyes turned a dark shade of blue. Death was near for her, and yet she senses and felt a new rush complex and profound lightning seeping into her.

The lightning that was rampaging inside her body, she couldn't even feel it once in this state, nor did it cause damage anymore.

Inside her spirit sea, her blue portion lightning turned into deep dark blue color mixing in with blue fire.

It was a smooth process, and then her spirit sea frantically amassed power which coursed through her body. This power achieves to connect deeply with her blood and pump out even more power.

A new fusion unknown to her was taking place between her second stage lightning Qi and her blood, which would give her a powerful ability.

Mere seconds it all took place, and on the outside with Kuzumi's body, she no longer felt extreme pain.

Now her dark blue lighting eyes sparkle, and in an instant, a brand new dark blue lighting armor wrapped Kuzumi's body of her size.

Gaining clarity again, she notices how now the lightning chains holding here were merely a tinging feeling and nothing more.

'BANG!'

Kuzumi flexed her muscle, and using the armour tore the chains with ease.

Sitting up, Kuzumi felt her whole world open farther than ever, yet it all felt natural for her. The mysterious and profound properties of lighting Qi flowed through her spirit sense like water allowing Kuzumi to stabilize her second stage lighting Qi.

Senior Lukil, who throughout the whole time watching for the first time, slightly open his eyes wider in surprise.

His life experience out of the four mythical beasts dates beyond the other three allowing him to rarely, if at all, get even slightly startled.

But now he was forced to acknowledge Kuzumi indeed reached pass anything he saw before, mainly comprehending the second stage of lightning Qi in a short time frame.

'Beyond reasonable expectations of a talented one. Is she watching me?' Senior Lukil was now a bit confused since Kuzumi, who sat down for minutes, suddenly open her eyes to stare straight at the place he was.

Standing up, Kuzumi felt refreshed, and her newfound dark blue lightning armor put no strain on her body. It was like now lightning was apart of blood.

"Hey, Senior Lukil! I can tell you're probably watching, so how about you ramp up this test huh?! I want to achieve another breakthrough!" Kuzumi confidently shouting, not caring in the slightest the one she demanding from could end her existence.

Senior Lukil, on the other hand, held no words, but his eyes did narrow a bit. With a raise of his hand, Senior Lukil had something exceptional plan for this crazed girl.

Abruptly all lighting in the space became chaotic, and the pressure massively rises for Kuzumi. From the sky, massive balls of lightning were forming, and from far away, a figure was slowly walking to her.

Compared to everything else, that figure gave off an intense pressure that could crush even middle-level Ruler Transformation from where they stand.

Despite it, all Kuzumi remained still in her lighting armour, spouting a wide grin that threatens to split her face.
