《The Class Of Dan ThunderField》70-Luke Vs John

“To see me, to block my attack, I never thought that you would have grown this strong.”
John gives Luke an evil smile.
“I never thought that I would have been this strong either.”
Luke smirks.
Valerie looks concerned.
“Luke is in trouble. He is injured and out of all our students, Princess Kaileen and John aren’t someone you can mess with.”
Valerie says.
“Che! Che! Che!”
Jack tries getting up but his body muscles are cramped up from using his magic and the damage he has taken.
“I think that you guys won’t be able to win this match even if you tried.”
Martin says as he sits in one corner.
Jack smiles.
“What’s with that smile? It’s almost as if you don’t believe that you have lost.”
Sven asks Jack.
Elena and Horrell smile as well.
“What is up with them? Why are they smiling?”
Trisha seems to be in disarray.
“Luke is Sir Dan’s favorite.”
Elena says with a smile.
“That doesn’t help him win the fight.”
Trisha says.
“Elena worded her words wrong again. Luke used to be untalented unlike us. He wasn’t strong but he always had this hope in him that he would be strong and holding onto that hope he always smiled but when we were training in Carliva, we knew, that out of all of us, Luke had to work the hardest.”
Jack says. He sticks his back to the corner and looks at Luke.
“Luke’s Magic Tree, it isn’t about casting spells or anything like our Magic Trees where we could depend on our spells. Instead, he had to depend on his weapon creation spell and his illusion spell and use different techniques to fight.”
Jack smiles.
“But when Luke and I were training, I realized one thing. Luke isn’t exactly untalented, he is a fucking genius. He created a spell on his own using I don’t know what kind of weird science in his mind. I wouldn’t call Luke a prodigy like that John but I will definitely call Luke a genius and if there is anyone who can fight a prodigy, it’s a genius like him.”

Everyone’s attention was captivated by Jack’s explanation.

*Smash*
Luke smashes his pole into the ground.
*Swoop*
John jumps onto the pole and runs towards Luke.
*Sweep*
John tries to kick Luke but it seems that it was Luke’s illusion which was in front of John.
“Wha-!”
*Smack*
Luke hits John with his pole from the back.
“Too fast!”
Luke’s eyes glowed as he looked a few seconds into the future.
“THERE!”
*Smack*
Luke landed a shot smack in the middle of John’s guts.
*Tap* *Tap* *Tap*
“WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SPEED?!”
Valerie looks surprised.
John who was flying mid-air crashes his feet to the ground and round kicks Luke.
*Smack*
Luke blocks with his pole but the pole is sent flying.
“LUKE! WATCH OUT!”
Jack screams.
Luke’s eyes glow again as he looks a few seconds into the future.
“I see you.”
*Swish*
*Smack*
Luke turns around to punch John in the face but not much happens to John.
*Smack*
John punches Luke’s face instead, but Luke holds his ground even if his wounds have begun to open up.
“What the-“
Luke holds John’s fist as he uses his full force to pull John over his shoulder.

“What the hell is that fight?!”
Sam questions.
“Luke...You have come a long way, haven’t you?”
Mister Inach has a proud smile on his face.

“GO FOR IT LUKE!”
“YOU CAN DO IT!”
“FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!”
The cheers are on for Luke.
“What’s with *Huff* you? WHY WON’T YOU GO DOWN?!”
John gets back up and runs at Luke with an evil smirk.
“*Huff* That’s because *Huff* I am fighting to save *Huff* Something precious to me.”
Luke runs at John.
Both their fists hit each other’s face.

Both of them seem exhausted, Luke from his injuries and John from taking damage from Luke.
*Smack*
Luke uses his fist to punch John’s face.
“WHO DO YOU THINK WILL WIN?! THE GENIUS OR THE PRODIGY?!”
*Smack*
John uses his kicks Luke in his guts.
Luke spurts out blood.
“LUKE!”
*Catch*
Luke holds John’s leg and smiles.
“Wha-“
Luke kicks John’s other stable leg.
DURING LUKE’S TRAINING,
Dan was training Luke.
“There will be times when you won’t be able to use your abilities.”
Dan said to Luke.
“So I want you to use this martial arts technique that will help you in a fight.”
Dan said to Luke.
“Alright.”
Luke replied.
“Kick me.”
Dan said to Luke.
Luke nods and tries to kick Dan.
*Catch*
Dan catches Luke’s kick.
PRESENT DAY
“Kick the other leg!”
Luke stretches his right leg back opens his clenched fists. He takes a deep breath while keeping his eyes closed.
“Let the mana within you flow to a single point.”
The mana within Luke flows to his right palm. Luke opens his eyes.
“Everything has massively slowed down.”
Luke’s stoic expression looks at John. Luke brings his right palm to his waist.
“Let go of that energy now.”
While keeping hold of John’s other leg Luke gently hits John’s chest with his right palm.
“Flow to me Wukong.”
Whoever was sitting or standing behind the attack felt a calm yet strong wind passing by them.
*Boom*
And flying out goes of the bounds John with that single strike from Luke’s palm.
No one understood what happened. They just know what they saw. Luke single-handedly palmed out John out of the arena.
Luke falls onto the ground, exhausted and sweating from that attack which took almost everything out of him.
“Man...Luke is really strong.”
Sven says.
“No joke...”
Even Jack seems to be surprised.
“John out of the arena!”
Ulric says.
John looks at the sky.
“I was...Defeated. For the first time in my life, someone actually defeated me.”
“This fight is over folks! But the match is still on!”
Ulric says as he looks at the ring.
Izumi stands in front of Kaileen, “I will defeat you, Kaileen. No matter what happens, for Sir Dan and also for you!”
“Try it, you won’t be able to win.”
Kaileen says.

The Pugilist
Vincent Roy Salazar has never been your common folk. He climbed any mountain he found in front of him. From a bright young student to an accomplished professor, his life can be described as a continuous race to the top of his chosen fields. Patriarch of a loving family, proud father of three already grown siblings, Roy realizes that his life is the perfect picture of what the average man strives for, and for that he is truly grateful. But happiness is a difficult-to-reach goal, and as he lies in a pool of his own blood, his fist cracked, a young lady crying while cradling his head, he remembers what really gave sense to his youth. Pure Unadulterated Violence The Pugilist wants to be a different take on isekai shenanigans. What would happen if instead of a moronic idiot, a depressed high schooler, or a wannabe hero the one to get his do-over is a fully grown man that has already seen what life has to offer in full? Someone who conformed himself to society, but has always craved something different? In a journey of self-discovery, academy building, god-slaying, and absolutely no harem we follow someone driven by logic, experience, and a smokey goal: to fuck shit up, have fun while doing so, and maybe resume his career as a professor for those strange, magic-wielding, unstable youths that seems to never get enough of his presence. Guys, a few notes, first of all, this is my first time writing long-form fiction. I have a background in psychology, and my main income comes from writing dreary financial articles on SEO blogs. But after a bad break-up, and finding myself falling asleep only while thinking of deus ex machina for stories on this site (and for APGTE) I decided to try my hand at this web series thingy. I'm confident in my grammar, but that's it. Everything else will be a first time, and as such any constructive criticism is encouraged and gratefully accepted. Now, on the story. Romance will be introduced once my little heart is mended, if you are scared of LGBT you may be turned off by the fact that I plan to have no taboo of any kind in my universe, but I won't ever write detailed sex scenes for any characters so don't worry too much. The litRPG part is very light and will take place later in the novel, but it's a key component nonetheless, for world-building and storyline reasons. I already have everything big planned out, so I won't drop it outta nowhere, and I hope you won't find too many flaws in how things pan out. I plan to make The Pugilist an interactive story, with secondary characters created by my audience and introduced after tweaks and careful planning. The main reason I'm writing this is that I want to build a community for myself in this time of isolation. I discovered that exercising, playing the piano or video games means jack-shit when you are utterly miserable, so I hope to give some value to my readers in exchange for praise, fame, money, and companionship. I give full props to anyone who has read this whole mess of a synopsis: I hope to not disappoint too much, now let's write some more steaming garbage that will be in dire need of editing later on.

The Dungeon's Escapee
An Earthling, a Summer Elf, and the only male Phoenix in existence walk into a Dungeon... Okay, maybe they don't really do it so much for glory but rather because it's their job, and maybe they weren't really together, and some of them were actually walking out. Enter the world of Cespes, a land of magic, mystery, and monsters. Now, the Ancient Gods have gone silent even as magic enters the Golden Era. The Avish Empire might have fallen four thousand years ago, yet much of society remains fragmented, even as they share more cultural ties than ever before. Adventurers have always formed parties. Now, there are Dungeons, dark, grey blobs that dominate Kingdom maps and kill everything within sight. Yet, beyond even these obvious places of danger entwined with fortune, a forgotten evil rears its head after fermenting for millennia. A call for heroes has arrived. Warning: This story is written in the first and third person with multiple POVs. I will try to publish at least once every two weeks, if not more. Cover art by: [email protected]
