AN
I would like to apologize for any confusion that may occur when I try to give characters accents.
After everyone sat down, Wayne was the first to speak.
[Wayne] "Ah! Excuse me 'the dungeon' but I received a message from my acquaintances. It seems they have just arrived and are wondering where to go."
[] "You brought others? Why weren't they traveling with you?"
[Wayne] Avoids eye contact by looking at the ceiling. "I uh... may have ran ahead of them."
[] Stands. "I'll go greet them then." Walks towards the door.
[Ragnarok] "You up an' left ya' own mates? Humph! What kind o' king don't care for 'is own people?"
[Wayne] Glares at Ragnarok. "Would you not run with all your might if the one you love is in danger!?"
[Ragnarok] Crosses his arms and nods. "If'n it for ya' sheila, then's ya' did right."
[Sara] Looks at Wayne and tilts her head. "And why exactly would I be in danger?"
[Wayne] All traces of anger gone and showing hints of fear. "Th-that is. Y-you were headed to a dungeon. E-everyone knows d-dungeons are dangerous."
[Sara] "Oh honey, I think you're confused. Dungeons are only dangerous if you're weak." Puts her hand on his arm. "You're not saying I'm weak, are you?"
Ice begins to spread from Sara's touch.
[Wayne] "O-of c-course not h-honey. I-I was just- I mean-"
At this point I had left the room and closed the door behind me.
'Phew, that was close.'
I decide to enjoy a peaceful walk to the entrance rather than wasting mana to teleport. I definitely wasn't delaying going back into that room.
"Greetings, you must be the dungeon lord we were told about. It is a pleasure to meet you."
When I got to my entrance, 3 people were waiting for me. All three were standing above 6', wore standard knight armor, and waiting next to their horses.
[Armor 1] "We are adventurers who serve his majesty King Wayne. We come from another world and have come to your dungeon to seek a way to keep our worlds connected."

'Keep our worlds connected. The heck is he talking about? He's obviously a player from the 'real world'. Wait, is he role playing? Ugh, I thought they were all gathered in the Light capital. What's he doing here?'
[Armor 2] "What's with your clothes? I thought this game was middle age based."
[Armor 1] Gives Armor 2 an angry stare.
[] "...Before we talk about clothes, what did you mean by keeping our worlds connected?"
[Armor 3] Shrugs. "Game's becoming private due to a lack of interest. Those that use it will just be exploiting the time factor."
[] "...What?"
'This is bad. This is very bad. I put off making a library floor because those dang gods were getting impatient. Now I'm about to lose my connection to manga, web novels, and fan fictions that I haven't even finished reading. I can't let that happen!'
No longer caring about storing mana, I activate intelligence magic to increase my processing speed.
(AN: He starts to talk fast as a side effect, but instead of mashing all the words together I'm replacing the spaces with commas to make it easier to read.)
[Armor 1] "I apologize for my brother. What he means to say is that the force that conn-"
[] Points at Armor 1. "You,shut,up." Points at Armor 3. "How,long?"
[Armor 3] "Hmm? Uh, the game has one more week."
[] "Shit,shit,shits,shit!Wait!My,time,or,your's!?"
[Armor 3] "Ours."
[] "That's,better,but,what,happened,if,they,lost,interest,then,alters,were,locked,if,alters,were,lock,then,they,wouldn't,need,to,close,the,game,they,could,just,recapture,unless..." Having pieced some of the puzzle together I deactivate the magic. I may not care about storing my mana, but I still plan on making the best use of it. "How many gods are active?"
[Armor 2] "This game has gods?"
[] "Fuck!"
Not wasting anymore time, I teleport all 4 of us back into the meeting room.

[Tod] "-then we-"
[] "Shut up. No time. Tod move, I need to sit there."
Getting my seat at the head of the table I activate intelligence magic for parallel thought. Using one train of though, I talk to those in the room. Using the other train of though I start activating some of the 'special features' I installed into the table.
[] "All gods" pause to look at Amy "and goddesses" I get a polite nod of acknowledgement "are sealed."
[Ragnarok] "All o' them? Ya's sure?"
[] "No and it doesn't matter. The issue we need to address is that we have 3 weeks until the game is no longer public." I turn to face the Armor trio. "I want you three to look at this list and tell me which options are locked."
I use the table's enchantments to project a holographic screen above the table. The screen is split into 5 different screens facing different directions all with the same list on them.
time ratio unlimited map HUB stat distribution starting race mobile shrines magic rank up level limit party + guilds magic acquisition classes (in)fame + titles passive stat gain
As the trio look over the list, I turn my attention back to the king and queen as I continue to use the magic to change the table.
[] "I'm sure this must be very confusing and I will be willing to answer all your questions in time but are there any pressing questions that you want answered right away?"
[Sara] "Hmm? Oh! Yes, we wanted to know how you cured me. Even our best-"
[] "I cured you using necromancy magic. With Apollo locked no one can get a different magic so it isn't surprising that you didn't know. Basically you as a whole are alive but your cells were dying, all I had to do was bring those cells back to life and they wouldn't be able to spread anymore."
[Tod] "Actually-"
[] "Yes, I know there's more to it than that but we'll discuss it later." I turn back to the Armor trio. "So what's locked?"
[Armor trio] "Uh..."
[] "Too much info at once, I get it. Just watch the recording you're making later and don't forget to share the video." Once of them opens their mouth but I cut them off. "Of course I know you're recording. Who wouldn't record their time with the king and queen. Now, before you log off get a screen shot of this."
I then replace the list I had up with the magic chart.

[] "This is a list of all the magics you'll be able to use. I'm hoping that this information might delay the decision about this game. After you take the picture log off and start spreading the word."
[Armor 2] "What word?"
I smile an evil smile because I was hoping one of them would ask that question.
[] "War."

UPDATES TUES/THURS after chapter 5 Cover art by Tumblr User: @pigeon-princess This book features characters that are related to in many ways to my other novel "Grimoire". While both stories are their own stand alone series, Sun God's Corruption will add a good amount of depth to Grimoire, and Grimoire shows the unfoldings of the world that will eventually come from the events in Sun God's Corruption. I reccomend reading them both interchangably.

Dauntless Star
WWIII has come to pass and 91% of the Earth is left scorched and uninhabitable. From the ashes of WWIII two major powers emerged. The Southern Alliance (SA) and the Northern United Nations (NUN). This novel follows the journey of a young man named Crescent who saw the worst humanity had to offer in The Game and was given a second chance, traveling back in time when humanity first left for the stars. More importantly when The Game first started. Hello Author here just thought I’d say hi. Ps if the cover artwork is yours and you can provide proof, I would be happy to take it down at your request as per you intellectual rights. If not thx
