《Demon Forever》17- Djen

Allan could see the carnage from the comfort that of his inner world.
It could also be said that he was a prisoner of sorts. Should he attempt to reclaim his body, he would die under the might of the winged man’s powerful soul.
It terrified him to know that he had lost his body.
He had believed the /Light Emissary/ art to be invincible but all it did was imprison him in his inner world, letting the stranger take control of his body.
Resigned to his fate, he comfortably sat outside the golden palace, waiting and watching. He knew that he was under the protection of the /Light Emissary/ art. What he wanted to know was if the winged man could forcefully destroy the inner world and Allan along with it. Maybe the /Light Emissary/ art still a had a card up its sleeve that had yet to be played.
He felt useless to know that all he amounted to was nothing. He laughed at himself. His own bloodline had turned against him and his Art was something that also had its own will.
He was alone.
What he relied upon for power never belonged to him in the first place.
“His name is Djen.” Allan mused to himself.
He was revisiting the few memories of the winged man, Djen, before the /Light emissary/ art pulled him into his inner world.
“He’s mad because he lost his wife in a planetary war.”
“He killed every living being on that planet and turned it into a shrine for his wife and her clansmen.”
He was shivering just by looking at the few memories of the massacre.
“The last thing I remember is that he wanted to go back in time to save her. Is such a thing even possible?” Allan was lost in his thoughts.
“He’s mad.”
“I should find a way to deal with him before he kills anybody else.”
“For the ancestral awakening to have fallen on me is truly misfortune.”
“Our Falcon clan is also just a way for Djen to revive himself whenever he dies. I may not be the first, but for him to be here means that his recent death was when I was just a kid. Roughly, ten years ago. My parents sealed me in time because they were probably afraid of the abnormal change of my demonic core back then.”

“The only good thing I got out of this is the information about laws that I lacked. Even though the few memories that I have of him just scraped the surface of the laws, I now have an idea of what to do when it's time to reach the Ascendant God realm.”
“I can also cultivate in here and improve my inner world. I shouldn’t complain too much but I do not have access to the resources I once had.”
“The journey to the peak of the Primordial God realm is sure to take a long time...Sigh...”
At the Primordial God realm, one had to fuse the God core of primordial energy acquired during the God realm with his inner world.
Before, he had access to soul energy crystals to help with that tedious process.
He turned to look at the entrance of the Golden Palace in the middle of his inner world.
“I just entered the Primordial God realm and have yet to see what the fourth door holds.”
There were nine doors in the great hall inside the Golden Palace.
The first door gave him wings with unmatchable speed.
The second door gave him the way to create powerful puppets comparable to his own strength.
The third door gave him an armory that he could use to equip himself and his puppets with armor and weapons.
“Maybe there is something that could help me.”
He then flew towards the palace.

As Allan ignored his current situation and went to open the fourth door, the fight outside was nearing its conclusion.
Sun had a hole where the stomach was supposed to be. She had almost been cut in half.
Her armor was reduced to smithereens.
Of the one hundred and seven puppets that she had summoned, only three were left.
The three puppets were badly damaged and were almost as unrecognizable as their master. They stood in front of the kneeling Sun to protect her.
As Sun was focusing on regenerating, a grinning Djen walked towards her.
There were no visible wounds on him.
“I wonder...In your half dead state...Can you still stop me from leaving?” Djen said.
As he got closer and closer, the darkness around him intensified.

He continued:“I should just kill you for being in my way, but your soul could prove useful for the moment. You see, I am interested in your magical Art that lets you do all these amazing stuff. I wish I had an army of puppets as well.”
Sun had trouble breathing. In her state, she was almost rendered mortal.
She said: “The body you took over has a better version of this magical Art. Why don’t you take a look before you waste your time with me?”
She was trying to stall for time.
She had stealthily sent a puppet back to the palace to inform her father of what had happened. She was only praying that he would be there in time.
Djen stopped and then closed his eyes only to reopen them with an astonished face.
He had just discovered that the host was still alive. Furthermore, he was still alive and sealed inside the inner world.
The Inner world was also sealed from his senses. He could not enter it.
“What is this?” He asked himself.
Sun who had almost healed started laughing and said: “You stole a body that doesn’t belong to you and that body is going to be your ruin soon enough.”
Djen tried everything but was refused entry into the inner world.
He even used his full power to destroy it to no avail.
“This can’t be happening.” Djen frantically said.
The only reason he had chosen a human to create the clan in which he would undergo ancestral awakening, it was so he could dual cultivate as a demon and human at the same time.
His chance at achieving his goal required him to at least have another path of cultivation. Being able to cultivate as a human while keeping his demonic powers was essential to his plan.
Sun was inwardly relieved. The longer the winged man waited before he killed her the better.
There was a chance that her father might arrive in time.
“You.” Djen pointed at Sun saying: “Do you know what happened to me.”
He was desperate for an answer.
He teleported right in front of Sun and grasped her neck lifting her above the ground.
Sun wanted to say something to stall for time but found that she couldn’t. The pressure on her neck was too strong and Djen seemed to not know it.
As Djen got impatient, he tore off her left arm.
He said: “I can keep going until you tell me what I want to know.”
Her right arm followed.
And then her eyes were gouged out.
Next, her legs were broken.
As an Ascendant god, she could still regenerate everything she lost but on the condition that she remained conscious and alive.
It was at that moment that a sonic boom was heard.
The earth trembled as a shadow landed right in the middle of Sun and Djen.
Djen just had the time to release Sun and retreat before he was swept away by the aftershock of the shadow landing.
As the dust cleared, a man in a golden robe could be seen feeding a blinding light to Sun whose body was recovering visibly.
“I guess that there’s no need for idle presentations.” The Golden King said. He added: “How about you die for me?”
The golden king waved his hand and made a vertical chopping motion with his right palm. As he did so, a cluster of infinite copies of the same sword made of light appeared around Djen.
Djen had yet to stabilize himself and could only helplessly watch as the swords whistled towards him.
Djen then unleashed his power:
- Gravitational Field -: Repel
A formless energy then appeared around him.
It started by his body and then expanded with him at the center.
He managed to immobilize himself before the swords arrived in his vicinity.
It was then that the swords started slowing down as if they were struggling to advance further.
The Golden king was surprised.
He looked at the swords he had summoned stop just before they could even harm the winged man.
As if pushed away by an invisible hand, the swords then started move in the opposite direction without stopping. They were even faster than when they came.
The Golden King then looked at the winged man with a solemn look.

I was inspired to create this story after reading the Scale Dungeon, by TheSilverGunner, here on RRL. It is a good story, despite having only a few chapter out at the time of writing this. His Pet | Leatherface X OC (16+)
"Ohhhh, who's this again?" The creep asked. The one with the chainsaw shrugged quickly, looking to his right. I felt my heart jumping out of my stomach and my adrenaline pumping. "Bubba's got a girlfriend!" The creep bounced up and down, chanting that stupid shit. "P-please..." I begged. I looked into the killer's eyes. He looked.. embarrassed? He has emotion? Is that why he's not killing me? I saw him reach out to open the lock but his brother shoved him back, grabbing the lightweight chainsaw as he did. "Either sex... or the saw, Leatherface." His brother held up a chainsaw. I let out a small scream. "Le-leather... f-face?" I gasped, trying to somehow earn more sympathy. He looked at me and nervously fiddled with his tie. Please, dear God, please.... show emotion any emotion! -Warning-SwearingSexual content Sexual tension GoreKillingBloodBad humor;)
