With a smile on his face dan was about to proceed and put the emerald antler spear back on his back , when the chaotic system took him by surprise

But what happened next would have lead to him loosing his cool if he were alone in a private place.

Dan was currently using allot of his will power not to let his excitement spill out of his body, so that he continues to appear mysterious and cool in front of his first group of citizens.

Unlocking [kingdom building] Tab

The kingdom building function has been unlocked thanks to subduing another intelligent species under your rule and subsequent thought process and realization that followed and you uniquely have.

Observing the new notification screen from the [ Chaotic System] dan proceeded to wonder

'huh, what does that mean?'

'i understand the subduing part , but what realizations and thought process does one need to unlock this'

'from what the system described about my acquirement of this kingdom building function, i guess subduing someone under your rule might not get you the chaotic systems assistance, this might be one of the reasons i never heard of a lord of a territory having the assistance of the Chaotic system in managing their territory, but if there was, they most likely kept it a secrete.'

'oh well doesn't mater anymore, i did acquire this function , so might as well enjoy the benefits. hmm lets see what the chaotic system's new function can assist me with'

once dan thought about the new function, as usual a transparent screen appeared in front of his vision , filled with information

As a lord , it would be embarrassing for you not to understand your precious citizens when they speak, whenever an intelligent lifeforms is subdued the lord will have the unknown language easily learned in his subconscious mind, it also helps the citizens comprehend other languages faster, for better communication between each other.

'it sure is embarrassing , and i was wondering how to talk to them,even planing to spend a lot of time learning, but with this , things just became easier'

'well i was planing to take these guys next to the dungeon gate entrance to build a safe place around it, but with this new function , i better choose a better location. hmm the big ass mountain in the distance looks perfect , the top doesn't seem pointy and if i am not mistaken , that is a waterfall dripping down the cliff to the bottom, probably a lake or pond might have been formed, and i like the way its positioned , one part of the mountain is facing the forest and the other half is facing the big beautiful plain under the cliffs '

'The high ground will give us a huge benefit for observing the surrounding area, of my new territory and also for better defense if we are ever attacked'

if anyone could observe dan's face right now they could see a happy smile so bright that it could infect others to feel happy and be in a better mood , like one of those infectious smiles.

'And thanks to the mountain having a big portion facing the cliff, most of the defending soldiers will be focused towards the forest, while some scouts would be positioned observe the cliff wall for any sneaky climbers'

'but maybe I am thinking ahead of myself, lets check the mountain before any further plans '

getting out of his thought process, dan put the spear on his back and walked forward to the kneeling akirigera, garbing him by the shoulders

The [Multilingual] passive lord skill had long since transferred the best folk language knowledge in dan's subconsciousness, after a few more days he will be able to fluently speak the language , he will need a while.

said dan in a kind tone, not to seem aggressive,

"since you have accepted me to lead you, than i shall honor your actions, from the look of it you seem to be without any homes , as my first action, i will help you all build a new home where you will be safe to grow stronger to survive in this world."

"Take a rest and heal your wounds, in a few minutes we leave east along the cliff towards the mountain seen in the distance over the tree tops "

With that said , dan proceeded to take care of his wounds while the rest of the beast folk took a rest or healed their shallow wounds acquired from some accident while they where being careless when escaping trough the magical wild nature away from the horde of ants.

dan took out a few mid-stage monster cores and started absorbing the spiritual energy from within the rice sized crystal , until it crumbled and turned to dust, it took him about 5 mid-stage monster cores to heal the damaged skin on his hands and about 4 more to restore his stamina to top.

wanting to give the beast folk group more time to rest dan proceeded to meditate and absorb the spiritual energy in the surroundings via the chaotic systems assistance , witch dan still couldn't figure out how it was done.

but as long as he focused on meditating he would automatically start attracting spiritual energy from the surrounding and he could see the progress from the systems percentage indicator for his next stat upgrade, but this way was still not as fast as absorbing the spiritual energy from monster cores of higher grade.

About two hours later, feeling full of spirit and energy dan stopped his meditation and proceeded to jump down the tree branch that was about 30 meters above ground.

Walking towards the group that was resting and talking among themselves, after witch he proceeded to order them to pack up and continue to their next destination.
