《The Legend Of The Insanely Overpowered Mage》Chapter 31: "Hallucinations"

As Tenur walked towards the master bedroom, Denka realised his plan. "You're not serious, right?"
"I am."
"There's no way your mom would pay for you!" Denka spoke what was on his mind. "Do you have any idea how much the cost is!?"
"I know, but perhaps she could help sponsor a bit, maybe?" there was hope in his voice, but then reality stuck close to his mind, allowing him to think of how impossible the outcome would be.
"And you're still going even though you already know her answer?"
"Yes," as he closed in on the bedroom, he could hear foreign grunts and her mother's voice.
"I don't think-" before Denka finished, Tenur was already opening the door. What he saw was already hinted by the sounds he heard.
A man was on top while Daryl was at the bottom, pinned by the man. Both were naked but fortunately, the two were tilted away from the door, thus blocking their private parts from Tenur's view. The grunts and moans stopped when the two saw Tenur. A moment of silence wrapped around them, until Tenur decided to close the door with his eyes unblinking and reopen it later to check again.
When the door opened, Tenur found his mother dressed in her usual garment while lying on the bed with her blanket covering herself. There was no sign of the man he saw previously. Convinced that what he saw just now was a hallucination, he knocked on the door to awaken his mom.
"... huh?" Daryl rose from the bed groggily. The blanket was pushed back when she sat up so it covered her lower body only. The garment on her looked a little roughed at the centre where it restrained her generous proportions, but he thought that was just him seeing things after the hallucination.

"Mom, can I borrow a hundred Keps?" A Kep was worth a hundred Coppers, and it was essentially the main currency used in the kingdom's economy. Basically, Tenur was asking for a large amount of cash. His mother's eyes bulged as a result. "Wha-at?"
"Nevermind, I know you wouldn't be able to lend me that much anyway, so how about ten Keps?" He asked her again, knowing how hard she worked everyday just to support their daily needs since their father's money was only shipped back once in a while, though in large sums such as Gold or Plantinum.
"Why do you need so much money all of a sudden?" His mother's eyes kept dodging around, unable to stay focus while seemingly flustered. There was a humanoid shadow hiding behind the door that barely separated it from Tenur, and if the door were to be pushed open a little more, it would come into contact with it.
"I need to find the oracle of sperm. Apparently I was given a quest by the Goddess of Fertility," he scratched his cheek while looking somewhat guilty. When his mother seemed more confused than ever, he explained again, "To summarise it all, I need money to find the goddess' oracle so I can contact the her again."
Realisation hit Daryl, and she straightened her back before replying. "I don't even have a single Kep. So, no."
Even though Tenur already expected that response, it still caught him off guard, causing his shoulders to droop unconsciously. "I understand..." He turned to leave, his mind determining the next course of action.
Daryl, looking as guilty as ever, bit her lip before telling her son, "If it makes you feel better, you can go earn the money yourself. I heard Mrs. Ajek is hiring!" Tenur's figure broadened up as he left, causing her to think her words cheered him up when it was actually him who suddenly got a new idea. The door to the master bedroom shut off, leaving the mysterious, humanoid shadow and Daryl alone. The figure walked out from the closing door's shadow and it revealed to be the same man Tenur had saw cheating with his mother, but the figure was wiping beads of cold sweat on his forehead with the back of his hand.

"I told you, you shouldn't come anymore now that my son's back-" the man went over and kissed Daryl to silence her, before he started touching her again.
"What were you talking about?" the man whispered lovingly into Daryl's ears.
"Mrs. Ajek's going to be so disappointed when she finds out about her husband's nightly activities~" Daryl sensed Mr. Ajek tense, so she added a passionate kiss to subdue him. "Where were we again when he interrupted?"
"Ah, you sure do know how to please a man..." Ajek went on top again and the previous scene resumed as if Tenur's interruption didn't happen at all. The volume of the grunts and groans were lowered, but they were nontheless audible from the outside if one listened closely enough.
