It didn't take long for Juewang Guan to runned from the foot of the hilltop mountainside towards the Xiawu Village Gates, then straight towards the village chief's house. Juewang Guan's legs were burning with the bright sensation of exhaustion that he has not felt so for so long, as droplets of sweat then covered his face and cheeks, with the back of his shirt soaked in sweat.

'It has been a long time since I've last gone for a good run, it kind of reminds me of physical education during high school.' Juewang Guan started to reminiscent about the past, remembering the good old times of his youth.

As the anxious figure of the old village chief soon then enters his line of sight; the old village chief is quite impatient, with a worried look plastered on his face, constantly walking back and forth outside the front door of his house. With Juewang Guan gradually began to make his way towards him.

The old village chief then looks in his particular direction, with great anticipation within his eyes, hurriedly rushing over towards his direction. He raised his voice at Juewang Guan in great urgency, "Have you found the vibrant green mint leaves herb plant yet, lad? Where is it? I don't see the sight of the herb plant on you." The old village chief kept asking Juewang Guan questions in great repetition, out of desperation.

In which Juewang Guan simply responded to the village chief's desperation, "I've traded the vibrant green mint leaves herb plant that you wanted for an elixir pill."

The village chief's reaction was not at all what he has expected, strongly rebuking him, and not giving him a chance to explain. "How could you do that, lad? How could you sell the vibrant green mint leaves herb plant to someone else, despite knowing that my grandson needed it to cure his high fever sickness? How could you..." The village chief proceeded to grabbed Juewang Guan's arms, rocking him back and forth, venting out his hopeless feeling of frustration upon him.

'It would seem that this old grandpa is not even willing to listen to me, or have heard whatever I've just said.' Juewang Guan thought so to himself, as he then sighs deeply at the old village chief's senility.

"Village Chief!" Juewang Guan said as he firmly grabs a hold of the village chief's shoulders in order to get his attention, which made him temporarily stop shouting at him. "Here, I've got you the medicine that you've wanted in order to cure your grandson high fever sickness." Juewang Guan said so towards the village chief with a straight face, he wasn't at all amused.

Juewang Guan then took out the seven cleansing elixir pill from his inventory space and immediately handed over to the village chief, forcefully placing the jade green coloured elixir into his hand, in order to shut him up.

"This is the seven cleansing pill, in which I've traded the hundred years old vibrant green mint leaves herb plant. Its medicinal pill effectiveness should be much greater and effective at curing your grandson's high fever sickness. It's guaranteed to cure your grandson's sickness because it was refined by a senior disciple of the alchemy division of Tianji Sect." Juewang Guan reassures him of the effectiveness of the medicinal pill, by bringing up the name of a famous sect within the great continent of Pangu, that made this pill.

"Really?" The village chief asked with a doubtful look, but can't dismiss it carelessly, since it is a matter that is actually associated with a powerful sect within the great Pangu continent.

"Yes." Juewang Guan gave him his confirmation and reassures him that whatever he said was no doubt the truth.

'There is no reason for the young lad to lie to me about the origins of this medicinal pill. After all, I'm the person that asked him to go and look for the vibrant green mint leaves herb plant that only grows in the hilltop mountainside at the back of Xiawu Village. And judging by its appearance alone, he seems to be telling the truth, as it could only be made by a respective immortal cultivator, something an ordinary person such as him could not easily get his hands on.' The village chief thought so to himself, his hands visibly shaking, whilst still firmly grabbing a hold of the seven cleansing elixir pill within his hand.

'The only thing that can cure my grandson's high fever sickness right now is this seven cleansing elixir pill. I've hope this works.' The village chief anxiously thought so to himself, as he did not give up the hopes of saving his son. 'I hope this seven cleansing elixir pills work and is able to cure my grandson's sickness.'

The village chief forcefully slams the door open, as he hurriedly runs inside towards his grandson's room, where the sick child is laid in his bed.

The village chief then picks his sick grandson up, up off from the bed and holding him dearly within his arms. The boy's back was drenched in sweat, his worn-out clothes completely saturated having absorbed the boy's body sweat. The old village chief called to him, "Chu Xiao, Chu Xiao. Wake up, I've got you the medicine that is needed to cure you of your sickness." He exclaimed.

The sick child that is named Chu Xiao then weakly opens his eyes upon having heard his grandfather's call, but there was no strength left inside his body since his weak immune system is working at its hardest to fight back against the outside infection that has invaded his body.

"Grandpa." The sick Chu Xiao weakly calls out towards him.

"Chu Xiao, here take this." The old village chief proceeded to shove the seven cleansing elixir pill into the child's mouth and then asking the child to swallow it.

Chu Xiao was having difficulty swallowing the large seven cleansing elixir pill on his own, but with the help of the cup of water that his grandfather, the old village chief gave him. It made swallowing the large seven cleansing elixir pill a bit more bearable.

The seven cleansing elixir pill then travels down Chu Xiao's throat and entered his stomach. The strong stomach acid then began to break down the outer casing of the seven cleansing elixir pill, cracks began to form over the surface of the seven cleansing elixir pill, as the medicinal contents of the elixir pill began to rapidly seep out from the cracks within the elixir pill and the enters the sick boy's body.

The seven cleansing elixir pill having lost stability and structure then exploded, strongly releasing the medicinal contents of the elixir pill outwards and into the boy's body. As the medicinal content of the elixir pill began to rapidly spread out towards the rest of the sick boy's body, from the stomach abdomen region towards the rest of his body, thereby revitalising the sick boy's body, healing the injured and slightly damaged internal organs of the sick boy.

Cough, cough.

"Grandpa!" Chu Xiao then calls out towards his grandpa, as he starts to cough strongly, expelling the black substance, bad filth, and impurities from the boy's body.

A slight pinkish gloss began to slowly return from the sick boy's body, as he quickly recovers to the near peak health condition.

"Chu Xiao!" The old village chief then cries out happily with tears of joy, having become too emotionally attached, as he quickly came to the boy's embrace and wrap his two large adult-sized arms around the little 9 years old boy.

All of the negative emotions that he felt up till this very moment, that he kept bubbling up till this very moment; the sadness, worry and anxiety for his grandson's wellbeing. It all left him in an instance when he realised that his grandson was indeed safe and sound, within his arms.

Ding!

A mechanical beep then resounded inside of Juewang Guan's head, as he then saw a blue notification in front of him, confirming that he has managed to accomplished his given mission.

'With that said and done, I can finally move on towards the next story quest progression, if there really is actually another quest after this.' Juewang Guan thought so to himself, as he waited for the soon to be response given off from the old village chief after the completion of the quest.
