《Stardust Universe》Chapter 1.22 - Recordia - Chaos Dragonlord Vatherion

Recordia continues to observe the boy named White as White tries to run toward the elder dragon and grab it. But the elder dragon quickly stops and bailed out from the direction it was originally going to go for.
White then screams, “Someone is riding that dragon! We need to drop him down! Zen! Rose! Yumiko!”
Both Zenith and Rose responded naturally but for some reason Yumiko was nowhere to be found. White kept calling for Yumiko but then White gave up after the dragon once again comes toward White. Immediately, White pulls out his dagger and blocked the dragon’s charge. But the force from the dragon was too strong for White. White flew away and destroyed a building’s wall nearby.
“White!” Rose called White but White was already crushed under the pile of bricks.
Rose, a beastmaster, who can change into any types of animal she wants transformed into a pre-historic animal that once stomped the lands. Rose transformed into a Tyrannosaurus rex. It was now the battle between The Dragon and The T-Rex while Zenith continues to cover for White who was having a hard time maintaining the composure after being crushed by the pile of bricks just a few seconds ago.
“Very great…” Rose sighed, “Everything was going so well until you have to come here. I thought this would be an easy task…”
Rose ran toward the speeding dragon and both of them clashed their head as their fight for supremacy in strength. It was a back and forth battle of pushing off between these two beasts. But unfortunately, the man riding over the dragon decided that it was best if he interrupted the battle of strength and slashed Rose with his purple sword.
“Okay, that’s not really fair. Zenith! I could use some help over here!”
Zenith heard that and said, “But White…he…”
“He’ll be fine on his own, come on!” Rose managed to convince her.
Zenith’s whole body disintegrates into snow and let the wind blow away the snow particles towards Rose’s T-rex head. The snow particles then fused back together to form back Zenith’s body.
“What can I do?” Zenith asks Rose.
Rose devises a plan, “Keep the rider busy. I’ll take out the dragon.”
Zenith nodded and then held onto Rose tightly so that she wouldn’t fall off from her as Rose charged toward the speeding flying dragon. But as they were about to clash again, the dragon bails out by flying upward. It then looked back at the two of them and made a smirk.

“Did that dragon just mock me?” Rose was infuriated. “Hold on tight, Zenith.”
Rose decided to transform once again and this time, into an eagle. Zenith was hanging on to Rose’s legs or claws as she flies up.
“I can’t transform anything big that can fly. Sorry about that, Zenith.”
“Don’t be.” Zenith was very calm and then said, “But don’t freeze.”
“What?”
Particles of snow started to scatter all over the sky and slowly but surely it moves toward Rose and attached itself to her.
“What’s going on, Zenith?!”
“I said, don’t freeze. It’ll be fine. Just keep flying.”
As more snow particle started to pile up in the sky, Recordia decided that it was time for Recordia to go and wake White up. Little Recordia went toward where White was out cold. Recordia casted a spell waking up White. White finally came back to his sense but Recordia immediately hides away from White because Recordia was too shy and Recordia doesn’t know what Recordia should say when meeting with White. Recordia decided that it was best to just wait until the battle was over.
As we returned back to the sky, the snow particles that was covering up Rose was actually creating a huge protection for Rose. The snow keeps on piling up as big to the point that not a single trace of Rose was left. It turned into a Big Snow Eagle. A larger beast than an eagle.
“Now this is more like it!” Rose was getting excited.
Rose finally catches up to the dragon and then Zenith turned some of the snow from Rose into ice spikes. Throwing it all away to the enemy.
“It’s not budging at all!” shouted Rose.
Zenith sighed and said, “Very well…” Zenith cancels out all of the snow and disintegrates herself into the snow particles as well.
“Wait, Zenith. What’re you doing? Why’d you pull back?”
The snow particles turned into a snow phoenix, it wasn’t as big as the eagle form that Zenith combined with Rose was but it was quick enough to fly through and appear right in front of the dragon and its rider. She turned back into her human form and clenched her fist. She throws an Ice Punch to the rider’s face. It was then finally where the rider falls off from his dragon and hits the ground like a meteor falling down to earth. Zenith was carried back safely by Rose.
“It’s not over yet though…” White says as he looks on the dust smokes that was created from the falling impact.

As the dust finally settles, a silhouette can be seen from within. It was standing. The rider was standing. White prepared himself for any outcome while Rose rested after finishing her landing. Zenith comes to White's side and prepared herself as well.
“I never expected that you can be that fast, Snow Phoenix.” The man laughed.
White questioned him back, “Who are you…?”
The man gives a hand signal to them. It was a stop sign. He then said, “Your executor.”
As he finished saying that, a large purple chaotic beam appears right in front of them and vaporizes both Zenith and White. They didn’t really vaporized though. As Rose immediately appeared in front of them in her T-rex form and protected them from the chaos laser. Rose then turned back into her human form and fainted.
“Rose!” Zenith captures her from falling down.
“I leave the rest to you guys for now…Just give me a few hours…” Rose closes her eyes as she whitened out.
Zenith checks her heartbeats and breathing. She was still alive. She was just taking a break.
“What was that for?” White asked the man once again.
The smoke finally settles and reveals a man wearing steel armour filled with a bunch of chaos tendrils that White has been familiar with. The man’s helmet looked like the head of dragon and some parts of the armour looked like it was made out of dragon scales. His cape was purple.
“You asked for my name correct?” The man introduced himself, “I am The Chaos Dragon Lord, Vatherion!”
As he finishes saying that, his dragon landed behind him.
“And this right here is Taloncryst, The Crystal Dragon.” The dragon then roared.
“Chaos Dragon Lord?” said White as he inspects the dragon. “That means…”
“Yes!” Vatherion yelled, “I am also one of The Champions of Chaos!”
“Is that…the chaos beast?” White continues to fire down with question as he looked at the dragon.
“You mean, Taloncryst? No, he is just my pet. A mere servant, a slave. The Chaos Beast hasn’t been awakened yet. But it will be very soon.”
“We won’t allow that, Vatherion…”
“We? You and how many of you?” Vatherion laughs.
“The four of us of course! That includes me, Zen, Rose and Yumiko.”
“That’s four names. I only see three kids over here.”
Then unceremoniously, “I’m right here.” Yumiko finally appears. She was few meters behind the two of them.
“Where were you, Yumiko?” White asked her.
She walks toward them and responded, “I was a bit busy with the citizens. You told me I have to make sure no one was harmed and I did that. No casualties, right?”
White sighed and said, “Fine.” White then turned back to Vatherion and said, “There. Four of us.”
“Really, now? I think you should be more concerned about having someone you trust the most right now.”
“What are you talking about, Vatherion?”
Then all of a sudden, a loud bang echoed across the streets. A thud to the ground and blood begins to spill. Zenith was once again shot by Yumiko’s live bullet.
“Yumiko?! What is the meaning of this?”
Yumiko smiled menacingly, “I see you have finally met with the one responsible for our Watcher relationship, White.”
“What?”
“This is Vatherion. The Head Executive of Infinity Academy.”
“He is what? …that can’t be…”
“It is what it is, boy. The whole academy is under my scales. I’m not the chancellor but I’m still at a rank high enough to change the atmosphere of the academy.”
“This can’t be…This is just like Escher…”
“That was only a small thing he took. I did way better than that Chaos Battle Mage. Observe…”
Vatherion opens a portal. Inside the portal was the academy’s campus.
“With the flick of a switch, all Watcher at campus will turn against their friends.” He snapped his finger and chaos started to emerge across the portal.
Students were fighting with each other. It looks like even the lecturer was on the side of Chaos.
“This cannot be…” White kneeled down in defeat as he continues to hold on to the lifeless body of Zenith.
“Take them to the cell, Yumiko.”
“Yes, Vatherion…” Yumiko bowed down to him.
Vatherion then opens up another portal where this time, a bunch of his minions appeared from it. They have taken over Gemhold. Meanwhile, White and Rose were taken to the city’s cell along with Zenith who has turned into an egg once again. Recordia carefully observes from afar and followed them to the dungeon.
“Recordia lies down to some walls and said, Recordia doesn’t like what is happening at Gemhold as well as what is happening at White’s academy. Recordia must brave herself and talk to White at once! Recordia said that confidently.”

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes
