《Child of Terra》Chapter 19- Bath Time #3

Nox sat up in his bed slowly, his eyes blinking every so often as he stretched his small body, then shook himself whilst climbing out from under the sheets and blankets. Afterwards, he did saunter across his bed and slowly crawl off the side. Whereupon he did trot across the bare tiled floor and towards a slightly ajar door which led into the hallway.
Of which only contained a few High Elven servants which ran along the opposite sides of the hallway as they noted his small person passing by. Of course, a few did manage to speak out a greeting towards his person, whilst the rest simply avoided him. This was simply due to the fact that they had duties to perform, and none had anything to do with the child as of yet. However, even if someone were to wave at the sleepy hybrid, he probably would not have noted them. For his young mind was still in a fog, as he made his way towards the dining room where he could bother the chefs for a small meal to awaken him completely.
Upon reaching the dining hall, however, he noted that the doors were shut. Of which was rather odd, seeing as how they've never been closed for as long as he remembered. This led to him trying to push the right door open, which was closest, but found that it didn't move. Yes. He did try to push on the other door, but found that it, too, would not budge for him.
After trying a few more times, he sat down next to one of the many stilled Living Armour, and began to cry mournful tears which sounded much like a loud whimpering from a young pup. This, in turn, caused a pair of Living Armour to awaken, and to stare about their persons as though searching for an enemy. When one did not appear, they instead squatted around the child whilst one of them did scoop his small person high, cradling him against the hollowed, iron chest.
The other, however, used one of its more secretive abilities to send out a signal through its brethren until it found either one of the Chosen, or one of his parents. Of which were immediately notified of Nox's distress, and would then rush to wherever he was found.
First to arrive, by way of a translucent, blue portal, was Sarah. Of whom stared about frantically until her eyes fell upon her son who was still crying whilst being held by a Living Armour. To which she did lift him into her arms, and held him against her neck as Sia and Shauu appeared from their own white portals, each wearing a thick, snow white robe.

"What happened?" called out the skeletal Wolfwoman, who rushed to the Goddess's side, "One of the Armour said there was a problem with Nox." Her own eyes, a pair of emerald orbs, flared in their sockets as she quickly approached the other who was holding his small person close.
Of whom then turned towards her person with large, moist eyes, and mewed, "Hungry."
"Aw," sighed Shauu, the metallic Bear Beastwoman, "Guess little Nox didn't get the memo about today. Well, that's easily fixable." Turning to the Goddess, she did bow slightly with a hand over her heart before righting up with a question upon her mind, "May we take the young prince, My Lady Goddess?"
"Why?" The other's eyes narrowed as she heard such an inquiry.
"So that you may be present in making sure everything is perfect for tonight. For we cannot do so without your touch in doing so."
"Fine," grumbled Sarah as she detached her child from her neck, and gave his little muzzle a kiss before handing him over to the Chosen's care, "but make sure he does not find out until later, okay? It would ruin the surprise." After speaking thusly, she did vanish into the dining hall, which revealed a little bit of extra colour within to the young eyes of Nox. Of which grew much larger, before wincing as his own belly grumbled for food.
"Let's first give you something to eat, okay Nox?"
"Okay Aunty Sia," mumbled the child slowly as he was taken away from the unknown colours within the closed dining room.

Soon enough, the trio was outside in Sarah's personal garden where a large blanket was laid out underneath one of Nox's favourite climbing trees. Of which was an Oak tree that was treated magickally so that it could thrive under the light of the full moon shown high above. Upon the blanket, however, were many different foods which were light and easy on the child's stomach, as well as some fruity drinks which he was allowed to drink one after the next. Such as a peach and berry drink, followed up by an apple and cranberry. Though, he did not much care for the bitterness that comes with the latter, he did enjoy the former and all its different combinations.
As to the foods, each was considered as a snack by the Elven chefs who prepared it, promising that after playing for a time once he was finished devouring some of the foods, that he would be hungry once again. This led to them desiring to see such an outcome, as they had never heard of such a thing. However, sure enough, after Nox ate his fill of the Elven snacks, and played around the tree with Shauu for a time, his belly grumbled loudly. Of which led to him scampering over to the blanket full of snacks in order to eat some more so that he could resume his play.

However, after such time had passed, and the food had run out, did the pair of chosen scoop up an excited, but somewhat tired Nox as they started to head back. "More play, Aunty Sia, Aunty Shauu?" asked Nox, whose nine tails swayed happily underneath the crook of Sia's right, skeletal arm.
"After we get you cleaned up, yes," replied Shauu, who shared a glance with the Wolfwoman as she tightened her gentle, but firm, grasp of the child's body. Whereas the young hybrid simply made a curious noise as his ears perked up, head tilting to the left shoulder, and the eyes dilating into a cute and adorable stare.
Of which led to the Bear Beastwoman to coo over the child as she pet and scratch his head and neck. Yes. He did enjoy such a thing, and even began to purr lightly due to such attention to his person. No. The purring was not something natural for his race, but one that was learned from the twins, Maya and Mia. Who told him that they learned it from a "Cat-Girl" who dropped by the complex that was their home.
This led to the pair of Chosen to hover over his person, petting his head and back, as well as scratching the back of his neck and along his spine. Whereupon he did close his eyes to purr as he slowly droned out the rest of the world in order to simply enjoy the attention the back of his body was receiving from the pair. That is, until they opened up a door, and stepped into the Bathhouse next to the Playroom.
For upon entering, he did smell the fruity soaps which did not taste the same, and when he opened his eyes, they did spy a pair of almost naked Elven Females. Of whom wore only strapped loincloths and tight fitting breast straps over their bodies, and were grinning at his small person as one of them reached out towards himself. Whereas the other waded into the pool of warm water which was to be used for cleaning oneself with soap.
"No," wailed Nox as he squirmed and struggled to escape from his fate. Unfortunately, all was for naught, as he was deftly handed off towards his tormentors who, although could not harm him even if they tried, did torment his small mind as they soaked and lathered up his body with warm water and soap.
Whereas the Chosen simply stood off to the side, with only Shauu frowning as the child squirmed and struggled as he called out for help. However, none would truly come to his aid as he was being bathed. For all were told to ignore his screams for help due to the fact that he absolutely hated the bathhouse. Of which stemmed from only the soaps, as they did not taste as good as they smelled.
In any case, after the ordeal of trying to clean the youngling, did the Elven women sigh with great relief when he was placed into the soaking pool. Whereupon he did stick out his tongue at their persons before paddling around the small amount of water. Of which came up to his neck if he chose to stand upon his hind legs in order to waddle around.
The other two, the Elves who held the chore of bathing his person, sighed against the cleaning pool as though they just survived a major ordeal. Yes. Bathing his person was considered as a battle, as he did fight against any and all with his squirmings and strugglings. Though he rarely, if ever, used his teeth or claws against them, they always seemed to come away with a few new scratches. Though, at that time, they did not notice that their breast straps came undone, revealing their chests to the Chosen and whomever would want to walk in. That is, until Shauu pointed it out, causing them to scream with surprise as they covered themselves whilst searching for another pair of straps.
