《Child of Terra》Chapter 22- Bath Time #4

"I've never seen him so calm before," whispered a High Elven female, of whom was one of the attendants in the bathhouse.
"I know, right?" chimed in another as they watched Nox being scrubbed so vigourously by the Goddess.
The pair of them watched as he mewed pitifully at the state he was in. Of which was his entire body covered in suds that smelled of strawberries, but tasted really bitter. Yes. He did wish to sample the fragrant soaps, but quickly shook off such desires when he recalled the disgusting taste which made him shiver from such a memory.
Of course, he held the desire to shake off such applications of the soaps, but due to a stern gaze from his own mother, he refrained from such an action. For although she would be happy in indulging his little person of such antics, she did not, as the actions of him and his friends just moments prior caused her to become a little more stern in disciplining them. Yes. This meant that the other three were also bathed in such a manner. Well, maybe not Anasi, as his own body was much different than the other three, and needed a Devourer maid's touch.
In any case, the twins themselves were being vigourously scrubbed by the Elven females on the other side of the pool. Of whom mewed with a mixture of emotions ranging from pitiful to pleasure. For the females themselves were well versed in their craft when it came to such things as bathing and massages. Therefore, the twins could only mew when being handled by such beings.
Yes. In the end, the scrubbing came to a close, and they were all placed into the soaking pool in order to relax whilst Sarah was stripped of her remaining clothing. Of which was a simple breast strap and loincloth, and allowed the Elves to help her remove any missed webbing and mud from her body. Whereas the four friends simply ignored this, or rather, the twins and Nox ignored this whilst Anasi stared with large eyes at his friend's mother.
However, he was soon caught staring by the other three, and pounced upon his person, pushing him a little into the warm water. Of which was enough to awaken his mind from being stunned by the image of the naked Goddess. In that he responded by splashing the three with enough force that they spluttered and coughed from the event.

"Oh yeah?" called out Nox with a wicked grin, as he dove into the water next to his friend, and proceeded to swim quickly around him. Whereas Maya and Mia widened their eyes and quickly paddled away to the other side of the pool.
This action confused the young Arachne, especially when the two girls sought to desperately cling to the edge of the pool at their end. That is, until he felt a slight pull towards his left. Of which caused his head to slowly turn, as his own eyes widened. For beside him was the making of a small, but powerful whirlpool with him at the epicentre.
Yes. He did try to speak out against such a thing, but it was far too late. For his body had begun to spin counter-clockwise, as his friend continued to swim around his person. This led to him becoming rather dizzy as the speed picked up, but quickly dissipated due to Nox becoming rather dizzy from such a thing. Which led to his body floating upwards upon his back, and holding the expression of being exhausted.
On the other hand, Anasi was also dizzy, and did not retaliate against such antics. Instead, he simply floated around the pool, trying to shake the feeling from his mind. Of which seemingly disappeared as soon as he noted the Goddess, whose body was wrapped in a waterlogged towel, step into the pool, and sat down next to her son with a bemused look upon her features. Whereupon she did lift his person so that he may rest upon her chest.
This led to his general awakening, and a small cuddle session by his person as he mewed, "Mama," softly. Which caused the Elven females to sigh happily as they paused in their duties of cleaning the area around their persons. Yes. They did return to their duties, but only after the Wolfwoman took note of the lack of scrubbing.
However, such a time within the bathhouse soon came to a close. For now it was time to leave, and although the children would have enjoyed warming themselves for longer, they still needed to come out for food and sleep. Thus, the four friends were given over to a few of the attendants, whilst the others helped Sarah into the rinsing section of the bathhouse. Whereupon her towel was removed, and a large faucet above her person was opened to allow a torrent of cooled water to rain down upon her body, shocking it awake.

Yes. She did gasp from the sudden chill, which caused her body to stiffen, and grip to become like that of a vice. In so much, that a High Elven female did gasp as her own hand, which was attached to Sarah's, was somewhat crushed until the cold water receded.
"Oh," the Goddess hurriedly released the poor Elf, who clutch at the hand that was bent at an odd angle, and had a few of the others to send for a healer immediately. For although she, herself, was a being above many, the Wolfwoman could not heal others without some sort of conduit. This was due to the fact that she was the Goddess of Iridescent Colours, of which could not be used to heal broken hands, but soothe the minds. Of which she did so, as her body was clothed by the other Elves.
Upon the completion of her outerwear, which consisted of undergarment and a plain, white dress over them, did the doors open to reveal an old, metallic Wolfman in a white robe. Of whom bowed once towards her person, then turned towards the Elf in order to administer the necessary healing to her hand. Whereas Sarah simply trotted over to the children, scooped them up, and headed out and into the hallway.
It was here, however, that she remembered the reason why she went in search of the children before they pelted her person with mud and webbing. Which led to them being placed down upon the ground with her squatting over. "So," she began slowly, patting each one upon their head, "We are going to be having a guest over for dinner. Which means yes, Nox, your father will be coming home, as he is loathe to miss out on this occasion.
"This also means one of two things for you three, Anasi, Mia, Maya." The four stared upon her person with equal expressions full of curiosity with a speck of terror, as their names being called sometimes caused such an effect, "You three can either stay here, and join us for dinner, or I can call up your parents. Who will be told what you did today. Such as running away from your babysitter, and pelting me with mud and web."
The four children shivered at this statement, which also entailed a not so veiled threat of them being in trouble with their family for actively participating in the ambush of her person. Which then led to the twins and Nox flattening their ears against their heads, and widening their pupils up at her person in an obvious begging tactic to not tell the Mother on the girl-children. Whereas the young Arachne simply looked away from her gaze whilst rubbing his right arm slowly. "Sorry," he mumbled softly, and was rewarded with a light pat on the head. Of which caused his lips to stretch into a sheepish smile.
"So? What shall it be?" asked aloud the Goddess before them, "Will you be staying for dinner, where you will behave, or will I be calling your parents and telling them what you just did?" Before either of them could speak, she held up the index finger of her right clawed hand in order to continue with, "Know that your parents won't be notified if you stay, but you will have to let them know that you are all joining us for dinner. Which means exactly that, I won't be talking to them unless they specifically ask for me."
"Um," mumbled Anasi, who squirmed a little under the now intensive gaze of the Goddess, "May I ask who it is that is coming to visit you?"
"Why, I'm so glad you did," she grinned quite ruefully, "It is my own mother, Azazel, who will be joining us."
To which Nox's entire body perked right up as soon as the words from his mother settled into his mind, "Grandma is coming?" His eyes widened as he inquired, and when his mother nodded, he did leap for glee with a "Yay!" escaping his throat, as his person hopped around everyone.

The Sea of Destiny
[Let me be straight with you. This is trash, like old dime store novel trash. Don't expect grandiose writing, anything profound, or much beyond being free of spelling errors. It is simple, weird, and most likely growing in ridiculousness as it rapidly escalates.] Michael just wants to get away after a rough breakup. Blood Blue
Mayevil is a renowned assassin who is known to complete any mission without fault. A hybrid that is ostracized by each of her respective halves. To her peers, she is an enigma as distant as she is powerful, a person they cannot hope to understand or relate to. Yet, while this is how they see her, the reality is that she is simply confused. Without a greater sense of purpose, her day-to-day life repeats itself over and over again. In the hope that she will eventually find joy or meaning, she continues, without so much as understanding why, as much as why not. Encountering noble vampires, powerful martial artists, and haughty mages all the while, her journey will prove to be a difficult one.
