“Fuck me!! in the asshole!!”
The boy turned around and saw there was no one behind him.
‘Was it just a dream?’
He checked out everywhere, but can’t seem to find anyone.
“Annggh!!!”
*Gasp* The boy fell down on the ground because in front of him the rotten bodies had movements in them.
‘Undeads!!’
The boy got tensed up… but taking one of the sword on the ground he got up and started to run away.
“What kind of hellish place is this?”
He ran like a rabbit, his speed wasn’t as fast as before because of all the load, but he was easily able to run away and lose the undeads.
As he ran his fat was jumping up and down, there was no thoughts on his mind anymore.
“Please! please!! somebody save me”
The only thing audible in that forest was a series of breathing sounds.
The undead turned bandits weren’t able to keep up with the prince as they only sad the walking speed.
After he ran for a while and seeing there is no one behind him. He stopped and sat down on dry grouund beside a tree.
“Ah!! water!!”
He drank a whole bottle of water in one turn. He was thirsty for a whole day.
After drinking water, he started thinking.
‘This is definitely not ordinary jungle, those guys turned undead in a matter of hours.’
He knew now that this place was not safe, whatever caused those men to become undead was there when he collected the food and water.
“Leowald!! you need to be more carefull…… first let’s get the facts straight.”
“Captain Rosewald suggested to take a shortcut…. and when we were walking close to this forest those bastards attacked me.”
He was collecting all the facts from what happened to him.
“But those guys also stopped hunting me after I came inside this forest….. They didn’t seemed to know about this place but still sensed the danger or whatever that attacked them.”
“And that thing may still be eyeing me.”
He got scared once again.
‘Need to find a place to stay this night.’
Instead of searching for place to rest and hide from the danger.
‘Man!! Am I hungry… lets see what these guys got’
He started searching for food in the bag… all he was able to find was some dried rations and hard bread.
‘Well somethings better than nothing….’
He was sad. He didn’t get what he usually eat but he needs to make do with things he do have.
After eating he got up and started looking for a place to rest in.
He walked onward… he didn’t find any undead in the place again.
He searched throgh the jungle as it was already dark. The boy was starting to hear sounds all around the forest.
‘Need to find a place fast…. I don’t think it will be safe in night out here’
As he was exploring he saw a cave. The Cave had an uneasy atmosphere.

Father- “Leo do you know where I found Excaliber…… I found it in a dark cave stuck in a black rock.!! when your brother grows up I will give this sword to him…. so you need to find yourself a good sword.!”
Teacher- “Young master remember if you get stranded somewhere don’t go near a cave…. as it can already be occupied by some being… so stay away from places like dark caves.”
He fell in though.
‘Sword! Safety! Sword… Safety…… I will go with the sword’
He made up his mind, like his father he was going to go inside the cave and look for treasure.
As he got close to the cave he leaned in and tried to heard if there was something in the cave…. he didn’t hear anything.
He lit up a rotten wood and started exploring the cave.
*Drip* *Drip*………
The cave was dark and cold. Water was dripping everywhere.
As he got deeper in the cave he was cursing himself.
‘This was not a good idea!’
He found that even though the cave was dark. there was no rotten smell like in the forest.
After moving for sometime he found a small stream of water falling from the the ceiling of the cave.
He got close and seeing that the water was clean, started filling up his empty bottle.
He started to have a good feeling about the place.
“This place might not be that bad”
*Rustle* *tup* *tup*.
“Who’s there?”
Leo got alert he turned toward the direction of the and using the makeshift torch, highlighted the area.
As the light reached deeper in the cave, Leo saw something that moving in the shadows.
“This was definitely not a good Idea.”
Then he saw it…. there was , what looked like a dog made of bones staring directly at Leo.
‘Are you for real GOD!!’
He turned and started running in the same speed he outrun the bandits, even with the baggage.
In a matter of seconds he was out of the cave.
‘Hell!! night came’
*Awooooooooo!!*
He turned around and saw that the skeleton dog was out of the cave and trying to catch him.
‘How the hell that thing produce sound…… it got no wind pipe’
He really didn’t act like the crown prince at all. Even in this situation he was doing stupid comments.
As he ran, he saw that the skeleton was gaining in on him.
Leo picked threw the bag aside and started running like his life depended on it.
He had no other choice but to abandon the bag.
‘So long dried meat!!’
Running for just 5min he started to hear voices in the surrounding.
Leo was already leaving the skeleton dog alone. His speed was out of ordinary for a fat kid like him.
*Rustle* *Splash* *Splash* *Rustle*………
He heard the sound coming close to him.
He didn’t turned around, Leo just ran with everything he had.
From the jungle there were some other things getting close to him….. there was a rotten floating body that was realeasing a deadly miasma.

There was also a big beast who didn’t looked undead but had a sinister aura around him.
And beside these two… there were a lot of skeleton zombies rushing towards him.
But he didn’t know about these, if he just looked back.
He will have heart attack for sure.
After running for 30mins he got tired…. he couldn’t breath.
“*gasp*… is this the end?”
Leo’s speed was decreasing… His vision was getting blurry.. he didn’t know for how long can he run now.
After some more time he fell down on the ground.
‘Sorry mother’.. he didn’t had energy to even say his final words.
He was sure that in a matter of minutes he will meet his demise.
But to his surprise nothing came to attack him.
He was on the ground for 5min… after collecting some energy he sat on his bum and looked in the back.
‘Where are those things?’
He tried to get up but couldn’t.
“Young fat boy what are you doing in this forest?”
Leo got startled and turned around to see an old man in his 100’s looking at him.
“I.. I.. got stranded” replyed Leo with snot running down his nose.
After laughing for sometime the man replyed.
“Well that’s too bad.!! because I too am stranded”
Leo was out of words, he thought that he had found salvation but it was somebody just like him.
“Come on!! this place is not safe.”
The man turned around and started walking away.
“Wait for me!!”
After collecting some energy in his leg, he got up and started following the old man.
He thought that it was odd for a old man like him to survive inthis forest alone, but he didn’t felt that the old man will harm him.
“Mister!! where are we?”
While walking the man looked towards Leo and told him.
“This is the undead forest of the southern region, just outside the Falmer kingdom… this is a forbidden zone!!”
Leo was not a fool he knew what the term forbidden zone signifyed.
“So!…SO we are stuck in this place.”
It was common knowledge that forbidden areas were those places that was deemed dangerous and had a spell formation that stopped anything from getting out of the forest, be it man/undead/demonic beast. It destroys the sense of direction of the being and captures it in a never ending illusion.
“Sir how do you know where to go?”
“Oh!! about that… I have been here for atleast 50yrs”
Leo got scared… he couldn’t even imagine someone living in a place like this for so many years.
‘He probably is a powerful old man.’
Leo noticed that he didn’t encountered any undead in the forest again.
He knew the reason, it was because of the old man walking in front of him.
“Looks like we are here, welcome to my home little fat kid”
‘Humph!! I am not fat!!’
He looked up and saw what the old man described as his home.
It was not a home per se. Just a rotten big tree with a door in the front with some inscription on it.
“Sir this is where you live?”
“Yeah is there a problem?”
The man asked while smiling.
‘That is creepy as hell man’
“No I am just happy!!” the man replyed.
“???????”
‘Damn he heard my thoughts …. did I say that aloud?’
Leo looked towards the old man who was smiling while looking towards him.
“Lets go in.” the man opened the gate and invited Leo in his house.
When he got inside the so called house. he was surprised to see that from inside it was very well maintained.
There was clean bed, a living room and a place to cook food.
Leo started glaring towards the kitchen.
Understanding his thoughts.
“well you probably are hungry!! do you want to eat.”
Leo hurridely nodded toward the old man!!
“You go sit over there… I will ready some soup for you.”
He was not gaurded toward the old man as he has in reality saved his pathetic life.
He went toward the make shift living room and sat on the floor. And started eyed the old man cooking him food.
Not to his surprise the old man was cooking mushrooms for him to eat.
Smelling the tasty smell Leo started dripping water from his mouth.
He didn’t showed that he was the son of the king at all. Leo was doing it on purpose or it was his nature we may not ever know.
The old man brought the soup in the wooden cup and gave it to Leo.
“Drink it!! you are probably hungry”
Without further ado he drank the hot soup.
Seeing the little boy drink the soup he made in a hirry made his heart warm.
The old man lived a solitary life… he never met any other person for 50yrs and this boy was his first contact after so many years.
“You a noble Kid?”
While still drinking Leo nodded.
The old man was able to deduce Leo’s origin because of the soft hands he had.
“What is your name?”
Putting down the cup.
“Leowald Ageras Lionel!! but my dad calls me Leo”
Hearing the name the old name had a peculiar shine in his eyes.
After contemplating for some time.
“What is your name mister?”Asked Leo with curious eyes.
“Who.?… Me..?….. just call me Daikran… Leonardo Daikran”
“Thank you mister Daikran for saving my life.”
“No thank you!!”
Old man replyed in a hushed voice.
This is how it began!! the journey of the young prince and his life with his demonic master/Teacher.

When you have known nothing but distrust for those in power, what would you do to remain in control of your life? I will be uploading new chapters on Tuesday and Saturday each week at 4pm Mountain Standard Time. (The story has been described as X-men meets Narnia. Which while not entirely accurate, is still a fun way of looking at it.) (Note: As with my other stories, this one focuses more on the characters than on constant action. The Lite-LitRPG and Gamelit elements are introduced into the story gradually.) Author's Note: This is my raw, mostly unedited text. I am using RR to test out this story as I'm writing it to get a feel for how the published and edited copy will be received. Certain sections of the story will be changed or added to when I publish it as well.
