《Being》The next morning

Ryu woke up to the sound of laughter in the hallway outside his room and got dressed for the day. He went downstairs with the intention of talking to Azui and get more information about this UNIX thing he told me about yesterday. But on the way down the stairs he felt and heard his stomach growl and thought "well I guess I could get some food first".
He found his way to the dining and breakfast room where he created some bronze coins to pay for some bread and butter and then sat down at an empty table. As he sat there slowly eating his piece of bread he thought of the things he had been through sense he came to this world and felt that these memories made him feel something, something he quite liked but in the midst of thes thoughts he overheard someone talking some tables away from him "Did you hear about the warning of some dangerous beast or creature just outside the city in the open field in the forrest?" one guy said to two others "what? really, why? one replied "yea apparently the guards that were stationed near there felt a powerful wave of dreadful energy coming from there last night and they heard some commotion from where that aura was coming from but when they got there it was completely empty" the first guy told them. Ryu understood that it was probably his or Azuis aura which had been felt yesterday and was glad that he had left quickly or else he might have been treated like an enemy by the guard and that would not be fun.
He was now finished with his breakfast and the men at the table had begun talking about their favourite hunting places and that did not interest him anymore so he went out to find Azui and talk to him. He made his way to the reception but instead of Azui there was an older woman with short curly hair standing there looking down on some papers on the desk. "Is Azui here?" I asked the lady and she looked up quickly with a surprised look as she had been to focused on her papers and had not noticed Ryu walking up. "Oh are you the boy who is supposed to meet him today? she answered. "Ehm I think so, Azui promised me he was gonna tell me something" I replied "Well he said that if a boy came asking for him I was gonna tell you that he was down by the river in the park" the old lady said.

"I don't know where that is, could you tell me?" I asked the lady as wondered why Azui wanted to meet me there.
"Oh it's just down the road to the right" she pointed to the door and gestured to the right as she said this so it was easier to understand.
"Okay thank you" I said as i walked outside and turned right just as she had shown. I walked for some time before arriving in front of a park with a river running by it. "I guess this is it" I thought to myself as I started walking down towards the river. I saw some kids playing by some trees and some adults standing near them talking.
As i neared the river I could see a man sitting on a bench just by the river. When I got closer I saw that it was Azui and I made my way there. Azui turned his head to me when i got close, he had a relaxed expression and gestured for me to sit down.
He sat quiet for a moment but then sighed and said "Well, where do I start".

Until death? (Old Version)
This is the dated Version. Please search for the rewrite. Ever been a god? Well I was! Until I died.... and got judged by the other gods! Apparently they didn't like the whole idea that my Faith is the only true one! Oh and for the record: The Apocalypse wasn't intentional, ok? Though, I admit that ultimatively, I caused it. Seems like I got sent onto a vacation as punishment! Or so I hope? ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— Author's Comment: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it, or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur)

Vylt: The New Dawn
Mankind finds a way to use magic, but this great power comes with a price. A transaction that can't be refunded. Nora Hayes is a simple girl whose only worry was graduating high school. That is, until she faces this new reality. How will she, her family, and her friends deal with the aftermath of such event? Currently revising all the existing chapters. New ones coming after that! _________________________________________________________________ Sneak Peek: Next to the kitchen, there was a small squared table and two wooden chairs, each made from different wood. The bookshelf behind those contained a decent amount of books. I stood up to take a closer look at them and even opened a few out of curiosity. While I could read most of them just fine, some of the oldest-looking books were written in a language I didn't recognize. "Hm? Was my hand always blue?" I didn't remember. In fact, I couldn't recall anything about myself, not even my name. Inspecting the rest of my body, I found that it was the same all over. I didn't feel sick; quite the opposite. Still, my blue skin felt out of place for some reason. Trying to find an answer to my situation, I kept investigating the odd room. _________________________________________________________________ Big thanks to Alice Griffin for helping me out with the cover.

Windwalker
Having subdued its surrounding enemies, the former Sulic Empire is faced with unrest brewing from within. Society is torn in two. The reigning mentalists constantly persecute the subjugated elementals under the pretence of curbing the explosive potential of their destructive powers. Meanwhile, schemes and political interests clash as different groups within the Governance military elite vie for control. And in the shadows, Sulic’s old enemies have been lying in wait a long time, looking for the first sign of weakness to make their move. Against this backdrop, two ordinary individuals fight to maintain stability from opposing sides: a low ranking telepathic recruit with nothing to his name but good intentions, and an unregistered elemental contractor with a murky past. Can they reconcile their differences and help steer Sulic away from tearing itself apart? Windwalker explores themes of societal struggle and self-discovery. Book One: Rising Wind Kal has trained to be a soldier his entire life. His days are simple, and his duties clear: enforce the rules, upkeep the peace, and most important — police the elementals. If they step out of line, the Governance system corrects it. But when Kal encounters a young boy whom he suspects might be an illegal earthborn, he can’t bring himself to report him. Despite his training and the advice of friends, he decides to help him onto what he believes is the right path. This choice lands him in more trouble than he bargained for, and he soon discovers that the veneer the Governance is built upon an ugly and crumbling foundation.

The Plan
An infinite world couldn’t be real, but if it was, well this would happen. Imagine a world that isn’t covered in water, but an endless atmosphere. Plates of land, named “islands”, float and drift almost aimlessly. There is no sun, stars, roof, or floor; just boundless air in every direction. Light is generated from the movement of air flow. Magical and mystical powers keep islands floating and the world full of fresh entropy. Some of these floating islands drift upwards or downwards or any combination of volatile or patterned velocities. Air flow also follows the same characteristics of islands, which generates the light and heat. In a world with no horizon, the different inhabitants struggle. Beings calling them selves deities across the endless space are countless. If you were to fall off an island, you would inevitably hit another island; if you didn’t die from old age first. Many inhabitants don’t know the land further than their own eye sight or town they grew up in. Almost all inhabitants of islands have supernatural abilities, ranging in ability and skill. Magical abilities are kept individually; and mystical powers are borrowed. Islands float because the land is enchanted by either a magical or mystical crystal. Magical islands are known for vertical variance, while mystical islands are known for vertical stability. The islands rotate around focal points, known as 'the center'. There are many 'the center', but no one knows this yet... Warning: Tagged Mature 18+ for Strong Language, Gore, Violence, and sexual scenes. Google Drive (Click here to open new window) WIP/spoilers
