Then the awaken who was at the center again looked at the three stupid humans and smirked "GARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....."

Three out of eight awakens ran at their full speed and in a second, they get to the stairs which were fallen.

Two ran at the front and the last one ran behind them. Keeping his distance. Their speed was fast.

Fast enough for them to get to the stairs in a second.

Then the two at the front stopped. Grabbed each other shoulders tightly. Like they were ready to fight but what happened next made Matt and others nearly cry in despair.

The one who was behind jumped highly. Pressed his feet onto the other two awakens shoulders. Used them as his support and again jumped and descended on the first floor.

It all happened within 3 seconds. Too fast for Matt and others to think or react.

"SAMMMMMMMMMM!!!" Matt yelled.

Sam who knew what to do didn't need to know twice. He ran towards the third floor. He was going to destroy the stairs of the third floor before the awaken could get there.

"ASHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Again, Matt yelled.

And Ashton also understood as he pulled the explosives out and was ready to blow the two awakens who were near the stairs.

He threw the hand grenade but what happened next again made them despair.

The two awakens looked at the tiny thing which was making the loud boom and killing their kinds and picked a small stone and threw it towards the tiny thing and with a boom, the tiny thing explode.

"AGAIN! DON'T STOP!! JUST THROW AND THROW AND THROW UNTIL YOU CAN HIT THEM!!!" Matt yelled as he also started to help Ashton.

The two awakens again looked at the small things which make boom coming towards them. Now they were irritated so they again threw some stones and then looked at the other five awakens and nodded.

And five awakens without wasting any time started running.

"THEY ARE COMING! ASH!! IT'S YOUR TURN!!! YOU CAN USE YOUR POWER!!!" Matt yelled.

Ashton nodded. Finally, it was his turn. His whole body turned into iron. His both hands become grenade launcher and with his 'Accuracy' technique, he targeted one of the two Awakens whom he could clearly see and with a shoooooooooo he shot.

The two awakens ignored the annoying humans as they waited for their partners to use them as support to get above but before their partners could use them, one of the awakens which could directly see the two humans saw a tiny thing directly came towards him with an astonishing speed.

Even before it could do anything the tiny thing directly hit its left eye and with a boom everything became silent.

BOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!!!

Ashton shot the bomb and then he saw with an astonishing speed the grenade directly hit the awakened eye and with a boom the head shatter in pieces.

The brain spattered everywhere.

It was a very disgusting sight.

The other awaken who was holding the shoulder of the one who died also wasn't in any good shape. He was only left with half head, one right hand, and one right leg, his other side of the body was gone and with a thud, he also fell onto the ground.

Silence descended.

Matt with an open mouth stared at Ashton.

"Close your mouth or I will. Kissi." Ashton whispered as he lightly pecked Matt's open mouth.

"You are disgusting." Matt whispery yelled as he turned his face towards the entrance.

"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...…." All the other five awakens who were running towards the other two awakens stopped and growled in full anger.

And then a loud tremor was heard, the mall itself started to vibrate.

Ashton hurriedly hugged Matt tightly as they both fall onto the ground.

"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..." Then one more sorrowful growled heard and then there was nothing more.

Ashton, Matty, and the five awakens looked at the third-floor stairs and saw the awaken who was laying on the second floor only had half of his body left.

They could only see a portion from above the waist but below there was nothing.

And standing in front of it was Sam and with his full power, Sam slammed the hammer at the head of the awaken and crushed its head with his all might.

[Flashback]

Sam hurriedly ran towards the stairs and jumped, directly falling onto the fourth floor.

On his left hand was a hammer which was as light as feather for him. He couldn't feel its weight at all. On the right hand was a small bag which has explosives in it.

The awaken which was on the first floor saw the human which was creating trouble for his partner running towards the third-floor stairs. It just snickered.

How dare a puny human mess with them? They were superior. Even death couldn't kill them. They awakened and they rise.

This is who they are. They even become so powerful that they now have the power to crush the boulder with their punch.

Just one punch of there is enough to kill the puny humans, crush them to pieces, mince them in a paste.

It also ran and his running speed was even faster than the human.

Sam ignored the running awaken. He just wanted to get to the stairs on the third floor. He knew at this rate he won't get there before the awaken do so he again jumped from the fourth floor and directly onto the third floor and just in front of him were stairs.

He ran with his full speed and got to the stairs before the awaken but awaken also wasn't behind he was now also standing in front of the stair.

Sam looked at the awaken from the above. Awaken looked at the puny human from the down.

They both just looked at each other. Now using explosives is pretty much impossible.

The speed of awaken was fast enough to stop him or even punch him, which he won't let happen.

The fight was inevitable now. Either he dies and the awaken get to the Ashton and Matt or the awaken die and the stairs got detonate.

And he was hella sure. Dying wasn't on his list today.

Or Tomorrow.

Or even the day after tomorrow.
